onBeen writing review every time I go to Tracey Chevrolet. I go in there with my buddy Sunny. Tracey is very good at taking careof my 2 vehicles. 2016 LaCrosse and 2017 GMC Terrain. Highly recommended.

Leasing made EASY!

onThis is now my 4th lease with Gil Machado. I will continue to come back to this dealership and work with him as he is transparent, professional, but also levels with you as a person and doesn't make you feel like a customer - more like a part of the Tracey family. Forest and Jake were wonderful as well during the process. I always feel that I can come back with any questions I have as they make you feel they have an open door policy with every customer. I highly recommend Tracey, but especially Gil Machado to every person looking to purchase/lease a vehicle. Thank you for making all my car dreams come true (as always!)

Poor Service and Communication, Not Recommended

onMy experience prior to buying the car was fine, despite having a very difficult time getting in touch with my salesperson. You would think that purchasing and driving off the lot would be the easiest aspect of this transaction, but this has caused the most trouble and stress. Please note that I live in Boston and, though family live in the area, the trip to and from Tracy takes at least 2 hours. After test-driving the car and signing the intent-to-purchase docs (both delayed because the car "hadn't yet been certified"), I scheduled an appointment to meet with the finance office and finalize the purchase 3 days later (again, delayed because the certification process was not complete). Upon arrival, I was told that the car was not available yet-- they were waiting on a part that was delayed due to the UAW strike. I was not told when the car would be ready, but the implied timeline didn't seem long. After a 30-45min delayed financing meeting, I drove back home without the car. It has been TWO WEEKS since I purchased the car and I still do not have it. Each time I've called (no one from Tracy has tried to contact me since the purchase-- I have initiated all communication) I was told that they're "working on it" or "the service guys don't know yet" and, finally, that it "might be a few days, it might be a few weeks-- I don't know." I sent an email to the General Manager, Paul Barton, one week ago and have not received a response. I sent second email yesterday following up and I have not received a response. I spoke to Paul Barton today on the phone and this was the first time he has heard of this situation. I encourage customers to stay away from Tracy Chevrolet for the following reasons: 1) their customer service is unprofessional and negligent, 2) they do not disclose important information and aren’t transparent, 3) the General Manger does not read his emails and is not informed about the sales and issues in his own dealership.

Rude and unprofessional customer service

onFebruary 2018 I went to buy a new car. I would think like any car buyer I was checking what each dealership had to offer. I currently drive a Chevrolet so my first stop was Tracy Chevy Cadillac in Plymouth, MA. Dave Young was my salesman. Dave showed us a couple of vehicles. Test drove one vehicle and went inside to see some numbers. Dave brought our paperwork over to Paul Barton the "Manager" of the business. Sitting at Dave's desk with my girlfriend we began to hear the manager Paul demean us with discriminatory remarks. When I confronted Paul about the remarks Paul's reply was, "I wasn't talking to you I was talking to Dave about you. Dave immediately began trying to "soften" or mitigate the damage Paul inflicted. As I explained to Dave, at Dave's desk, it was not necessary to explain Paul's comments Paul interrupted our conversation. I asked Paul to be professional, keep his excuses to himself and allow us to speak with our salesman Dave. Paul responded, "if we want to buy a car at Tracy we are dealing with Paul". That was more than enough for us to go two lots over to Colonial Ford and purchase their 2018 C-Max Hybrid. While I write this review so other consumers can read about Tracy's services I would also say thank you. If Tracy's customer service did not drive me out the door we probably would not have made it to Colonial Ford.

Best car-buying experience ever!

onWe worked with Gil (salesman) and Bill (manager); both offered superior service and support to my wife and I. They shared their in-depth product knowledge and were truthful with us right from the beginning. The entire experience was pleasant and fun for our family of four. Their prices were highly competitive (lower than any other dealer we dealt with) and their trade-in offer came in higher than KBB trade-in values and higher than the five other dealerships we visited. When we went to sign the loans, they weren't pushy at all and they took the time to answer all of our questions. I would highly recommend that you go and see them for your next vehicle!

Service expeience at Tracy Motors

onI arrived early for an oil change, tire rotation and 6 month check of my new auto. I was greeted warmly and professionally, told what would be done during the service appointment, and then directed to Tracy's clean, comfortable waiting area. Because I brought my 5-yr-old grandson, we each indulged in a complementary hot beverage (hot chocolate and gourmet coffee). Later, we were shown a cabinet with age appropriate toys and books for his entertainment. The car was ready 20 minutes before promised, and it continues to run beautifully. The service also came with a coupon for a free carwash from an adjacent vendor.

onFrom my initial contact with Jeff through to signing papers with Bill Melahouris, my experience was nothing but excellent. Mike Gollub handled my negotiation, including trade, with professionalism, got the truck I wanted from another dealer, and made sure the delivery date experience went smoothly. I feel that purchasing from a smaller family run dealership like Tracey can be more rewarding than trying to deal with a bigger dealerships as you're not just another sale; they treat you like they've known you for years.
