Bought a used car. They said they put it through a safety inspection. It had problems. They attempted to fix it six times. Agreed that it met the definition of a Lemon Law buy back, but refused to buy it back and said to go ahead and file a lemon claim as they have "lots of experience" with lemon law claims. Seven months later, when I brought it in for service, another dealership advised me to get out of the car as soon as possible. Issues include (again, they said they put it through a safety inspection): oil pan leak, separating struts, corroded brakes, seized calipers, corroded subframe, compromised serpentine belt, water pump pulley, side marker lenses not working, engine ground strap frayed and separating, suspension coils corroded, bumper held on by zip ties, corroded clutch slave cylinder. I informed Michaud of these findings. They asked to see the report. I sent it to them. They did not respond. I pinged them days later for their thoughts. Still no response.

This is the 4th and 5th vehicles I've purchased at michaud. The entire staff did all they could to make the transaction fair and seemless. Zach's customer service skills are incredible. It was a pleasure to deal with him.

Buying a car with bad credit

My husband and I have had some credit problems in the past, and were afraid to try and purchase a new car. We went in a spoke with Kyle and he made the process very easy. His finance team was able to get us approved without a large monthly payment. Now we are in a brand new outlander and we are beyond thrilled. They did an awesome job!

I just bought a 2017 Mitsubishi Mirage and I love it so much. The second I started talking to Mike, I felt like he knew exactly what I was looking for. I had three different cars in mind and when Mike showed me his suggestions, they were the exact cars I was thinking about without even having to tell him. He's been super helpful throughout the process as well. I literally went to two dealerships before going to Michaud's and I hated both of them. I felt like they were more interested in closing a deal than actually making their customers happy. I was slightly frustrated when I got to Michaud's but luckily the experience I had there changed my mind and I found my car!

Bait and switch

Typical "Bait and Switch" dealership. I thought they would be different, like their website says, but they weren't. I was contacted by their online sales person about a car they had at a great price so I was interested. I set up an appointment with their GM through this online sales person to look at this car. When I got there, about 5-10 minutes before my appointment, I saw someone in the car I was there to look at and then they put a sold ticket on it. Not to mention I didn't even get to see the person I had the appointment because he was selling the car that I was there to look at. At that point I was annoyed, but hey things happen I thought and wanted to discuss other options at that moment. I sat with Zach Michaud, who is a great guy, and we talked about other options. He assured me that he had similar models, so we went out for a test drive. As expected I liked the car, but needed to see something in another color so we found a white one on the lot. He mentioned it was going to be about $2,500 more than the one I was coming to look at because it had additional features, which would have been fine. He then told me the price and it was $8,500 more than the care I was coming to look at. He then tried to sell me the next year's model but with no features at a higher price than the one I was looking at. At this point I felt it was a waste of my time to be there and left, no sale, no problem I thought. I was then contacted the next day with a sales post from that same online sales person and in the email listed was the car that I wanted to buy. Considering I saw it being sold, why are they trying to sell that same car? I emailed the person and said I was disappointed that the car wasn't available and was informed that they had sold the car I wanted to look at to an employee. So you're telling me that you set up an appointment for me to see this car and before I could get there you sold it to an employee? That is terrible business. They again apologized and said they would contact me to make it right. No such contact has happened. Buyer beware!

The feeling I got from the moment I walked in was very much tried and true to a very welcoming family run business with a focus on customer satisfaction. And beyond satisfied is what I got with the help of newly hired Brian Doherty in Sales along aside the cool & collected Finance Manger Kevin Dunn. It with their help that I was able to find "my car"! All through the purchase was a feeling of comfort and level of caring that in many of way shattered my expectations. Brain and Kevin epitomize how buying a car should be like w/ some needed heart and comic relief. Ask for any of those guys and you'll be in good hands.

I am a seasoned sales person who travels extensively for a medical device company. In my best interest, I have found it responsible to purchase a used car with miles under 50k due to the 30k+ miles I drive per year for work and I will keep it only for a couple of years. Because my office is my car, I require comfort, dependability, performance and style. This has led me to driving luxury vehicles over the past 20+ years. I explained all this to Zack M., the consultant at Mitsubishi Motors that worked with me to deliver exactly what I was looking for: a 2011 Infiniti G25X. Because I live in a sales related industry, I appreciate someone that listens to what I want and does not try to deviate me from my objective. Zack was 'the man' and made my first time buying experience at his dealership very pleasant. In fact, every person that I met in the process of purchasing my car at Michaud Mitsubishi made me feel very comfortable and genuinely appreciated me for choosing them to satisfy my needs. This was weird for me, because the past few dealerships I have purchased cars from made me feel like I was doing them a favor for buying a car...shame on them, for making feel like nobody. Many of us review testimonials of 'who treats you well' when doing business, so I hope this short message resonates my true satisfaction for the purchase of my car. Best Dealership Ever

I have nothing but positive words and the highest regard for this dealership and would recommend them to anyone who is shopping for a car. I had my mind set on a Mazda 3 for quite some time and knew exactly what I was looking for. Before going to Michaud Mitsubishi, I visited about 4 other dealerships. All of these places set me up for disappointment, telling me I would be approved without any issue and even had me test drive some cars so I would become attached. They pressured me and rushed me into running my credit and gave me false assurance that everything would work out. I was so upset that I almost gave up on looking for a car all together as my trust in car dealerships was diminished. However, when I received a letter in the mail from Michaud Mitsubishi, something in me decided to give it one last shot. Upon my visit to the Danvers dealership, I met Stephen B. He was very friendly and very straightforward. He told me he had 90 percent confidence that he could get me approved for the car I wanted but he was also very upfront and said he did not want to get my hopes up. He came back with some numbers for payments and whenever I had a question or concern he did his best to make adjustments. The final numbers came back and were a bit out of my affordability range so thats when Brian P. stepped in. Brian went above and beyond to get me financing as a sole car owner when other dealerships told me that I would need a co signer. He also got the payments lowered to an affordable price as well as a low interest rate. I was so surprised when I was told that I was a car owner and that everthing worked out great. When I went to pick up my car, I met Kevin M. the president and owner. He was very welcoming and glad to see that I was happy with my purchase. It is evident that this dealership and its workers really care about their customer. They exceeded all of my expectations and even followed up with me after my purchase to make sure everything was going well. In the past, the majority of car dealerships were not very pleasant experiences. This company is the total opposite. The honesty, hard work, and determination to get me a car makes me proud to say that I would recommend them to anyone. I will definitely be spreading the word to friends and family to buy all their vehicles from Michaud Mitsubishi!

Michaud Mitsubishi - Danvers, Ma is the best! Without hesitation we will send our friends and family to them for a genuine no stress, customer service experience. We visited all of their competitors; Hyundai Village, IRA Toyota, IRA Mazda, Herb Chambers Kia, Liberty Mazda, Liberty Chevrolet & Honda North. We felt special at Michaud Mitsubishi. It was different. We met the President, Mr. Kevin M. himself. He is a sincere, honest family man that did the same for us as he would do for his own. I can say enough about him and his team. They were professional & polite. The Dealership was immaculate and the location is ultra convenient. There is no doubt in our mind that we got the best car at the best price at the best dealership. Michaud Mitsubishi earned our business because they cared.

I bought my new car from Michaud Mitsubishi on 9/6/12. I spent a lot of time talking with Michael S. about my needs and budget. I have to say Michael was great and so were the rest of the staff. They made you feel very comfortable and the owner, Kevin, was on hand to answer any questions and ultimately helped finalize the deal. They know and believe in their cars and want you to feel happy with your purchase. They go the extra mile and these days, that is appreciated. I would highly recommend them. I am a very happy owner of a Mitsubishi Outlander Sport.

I have purchased numerous cars and motorcyles over the years, from numerous dealers. This was not my first new car. This dealer ship rates verey high with me and i would buy from them again. Mr.Murphy was the salesman and for the used vehicle trade the Manager was Mr. Hathaway. between the two of them they have about 60 years experience. I am semi retired and have nothin to gain by blowing smoke. Want a new car ? Go see them , do your homework first.Not buyin new? While i was there i spent some time lookin at the used stock available, some nice stuff sittin there. I am male 60 years old if you are in to the demographics stuff. Check in a week or two for my service review.

My service man Derek was knowledgeable, kind, and always available to answer any of my questions. He explained everything to me the work that needed to be done. They lent me a rental car to use until the work was done. I originally bought my car from them 5 years ago- a used 2003 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport SUV. Except for an oil change every year, a couple of new tires, and tune ups- I have never had any trouble or work done on the car until now. I got a new timing belt, new brake pads and rotors and a few other miner things, and I am sure after this work, it will last another 5 years with no issues. The best was that they also gave me a large break on the cost. I saved hundreds of dollars. Thank you Michaud Mitsubishi- you guys are the best! I do love my car.... CuttyOL

If they gave you the car for free it still would not be worth it. This is the most unprofessional dealership in existence...of course this is a car dealer so that's a low bar to begin with :). They took my deposit of $1000 and sold the car to someone else the next day...even as I was speaking to the President Kevin Michaud and offering to increase my deposit another $3000 for a $9k car. So in 3 days I went from being elated to be cheated. You are foolish to buy a car from the dealership, buy a car from any other dealership and you'll be quite lucky to avoid this dirty dealer.

My husband and I have two dogs and needed to find a small SUV. We looked online and found a Mitsubishi Outlander at Michaud that we were interested in. My husband called and spoke to one of their senior sales people (can't remember his name, sorry). We told him what we had to trade in, how much money we had to put down, what we wanted to spend a month, and which car we wanted. When we got there, the sales rep had the car put aside for us. We test drove it right away and decided it was the car we wanted. We had to negotiate a little, but they did do everything they could to get our monthly price where we wanted. They were very helpful. The longest process was waiting for the financing to go through. But otherwise we were very happy. I would suggest this dealership to anyone. It was the easiest transition I've ever experienced at a dealer.
