STAY AWAY - would not honor posted price

I had been watching a saved vehicle, a 2015 VW CC, and I received an update that the price had been lowered. I then contacted Kelly VW and they would not honor the posted price - in the industry they call that A BAIT & SWTICH. Very dishonorable - STAY AWAY.

Don't bother with Kelly VW

Contacted Kelly VW sales from their website asking if they would meet a competing VW dealer's price on a 2018 VW Passat (I included a link to the competing dealer's website ad for an identical vehicle - different color). My e-mail reply from their "Internet Sales Manager" was the following: "At this time we cannot match that price and the doc fee is non-negotiable. Sale price for the Passat GT is $26,719 plus our doc fee of $402. If you're interested please let me know, Thank You!" That Kelly price was $2000 more than the advertised price from the competing dealer. You can do much better on price at other VW dealers.

Great Car Buying Experience

Anthony was a great salesman. He accommodated my crazy schedule and all my needs. The whole process was fast, easy and friendly. I am never excited when I am in the market for a new car, but Kelly VW eased all my anxiety and I was very happy with the whole experience. Will gladly return when the need arises again.

My wife and I went in with me set on a Jetta and ended up leaving with a Jetta and a Tiguan. We love the cars and thankfully the process of getting them was pleasant and easy. I'll definitely go back for anything I need and probably for the next car. Hopefully James is still there at that point because he was great to work with.

If you have a chance to work with Paul take it. He is professional and personable. My whole experience with him, from test drive to purchase and getting my inspection sticker, was like catching up with an old friend. I cannot say enough good things about Paul. He was one of the deciding factors to go with the golf. I am so glad we stopped in for a test drive.

Buying a car is always stressful, however, my experience with Kelly Volkswagen was anything but! I had been in contact first with Lauren to schedule a test drive and she was absolutely lovely. Upon our arrival, we were immediately outfitted with beverages and directed to sales (no wait). My sales associate, Anthony, was warm and welcoming. He had us in and out of the dealership (with a fully financed car) in under 45 minutes. Anthony took his time and made sure I was completely comfortable with the purchase I was about to make, never once rushing me through any part of the process. Let's face it, buying a car is a big deal and not being rushed was important to me, and helped set a positive tone for my experience. Anthony answered all of our questions in detail and never once made us feel like we were becoming annoying. Admittedly, I had shopped around prior to coming to Kelly VW. Having received quotes from other dealerships prior to my appointment with Anthony, I can confidently say that I received the best possible price available. Kendra assisted with my financing and worked hard to get the best terms for me. She was patient and reviewed all paperwork in detail before asking me to sign. My appointment was later in the day on the Saturday before the 4th of July, but Anthony and the team wanted to make sure I was able to drive away with my new (and amazing) car before the holiday. After offering to come in on his day off, Anthony and I agreed that I would come in the following morning. Sure enough, when I arrived not even a half hour after the dealership opened on Sunday, there was my car: sparkling, registered, and sporting new plates. All in all, I can't say enough about my experience. I would highly recommend Kelly Volkswagen!

Deceptive Sales/Poor Customer Service

I bought a CPO 2012 Golf, and although it seemed fine, when I got home I found the underside of the front bumper was badly scratched! I immediately texted the salesperson a photo and asked for it to be repaired. Two weeks later I have had two appointments canceled and am still waiting!

After doing research online looking for a CPO TDI Jetta Sportwagon for weeks we decided on making a drive from RI to Kelly VW. Within moments of making the phone call to see if the vehicle we had our eyes on was available, I received a call from Jackie letting me know he was getting it ready so we could go for a drive when we arrived. We hit awful traffic on our way from RI resulting in us arriving a good half hour after closing time. Jackie never made us feel rushed through our visit to Kelly VW. In fact, upon returning from a quick test drive, we made the decision that this vehicle was going to be ours. We did not leave Kelly VW that evening until nearly 8:30 (now two and a half hours after closing time!). I jumped for joy when Jackie said he would have to deliver the vehicle to RI, saving me another trip. Jackie kept in touch to make sure the delivery and experience at the RI DMV was a piece of cake. Even though Jackie could not make the trip on the day I wanted to take possession of the vehicle he made sure to ensure that all of his ducks were in a row for a simple and quick transaction. We are only slightly disappointed that Kelly VW is not closer to home! Would highly recommend Jackie and the great team at Kelly VW for anyone who is in the market for a new or used (CPO) VW.

This is our first time leasing a car and we are really pleased in every way with our entire experience at Kelly Volkswagen. Jason was truly fantastic, friendly, easy going, no pressure and patiently gave us all the information we needed about the process of leasing a car. After deciding on the TDI Sportswagon, he quickly had us set up in our new car. He spent a lot of time with us going through the car, explaining how to use all of its great features. We also enjoyed our time with both Kendra in financing and connecting with Brendon, both of whom were friendly, helpful and enthusiastic. We are totally enjoying the car, it is so much fun to drive, and the diesel is amazing.

Agreed on what I needed to close the deal on the phone but they increased by $500 when put in writing. They used the "required" $500 deposit to hide the increase. Classic dishonest car dealer strategy. I don't trust them. I will never set foot in the dealership again.

Horrible - Bordering on Fraud

Can't even give them a star but your form makes me five them something. They don't deserve anything. We have never received such poor service. They sold us a car they didn't have. Management was just as unresponsive to complaints. Would never go back there and have made sure all my family and friends know of our dissactifaction. We have reported them to VW corporate and to the Better Business Bureau.

I had a great experience buying a used vehicle at Kelly VW. Obviously, like any dealership, it is the sales person's job to get you to spend money, nothing wrong with that. It is your job to do your homework and spend as little as possible. With that said, I actually enjoyed the car buying process at Kelly VW. I didn't feel the need to run home and shower like you may feel after going to most dealerships. I highly recommend Steve W., he was great to work with. Kelly VW gets a ton of great reviews on here for a reason, they deserve it.

Jason was very responsive to my email inquiries and offered a great a price. Tom was very thorough in allowing me to test drive a couple of different cars and then took the time to show me how to use everything in the car and get everything set up for my comfort, from Bluetooth to the mirrors. Great customer service! I highly recommend this dealership.

my experience with kelly v.w. was the best. mr. tom helped me asap. i cracked up my car on a sunday morn and by 5pm i had a new one.we sat and talked about what i was looking for. mr tom was on top of everything, he knew I needed a car to get back and forth to work along with other things.tom made me feel like i was the only person there.and i had his undivided attention. love that. everyone at kellys is so professional and kind. tom was so into what i needed, he was gone in a flash, in a min. or 2 he was right back with a honda accord oh my i feel in love with it. we talked about it and tom spoke in laymens terms so i understood everything he was talking about. and by the way this is the 6th car i've gotten from v.w. kelly be proud of your crew they are the best.

Mr. A. was very Helpful and informative without heavy sales tactics. No cheap deals or deceptive gimics. He is focused on listening to the customer and providing information. Negotiation of purchase and trade-in went smoothly. Mr. Ashe is a talkative, knowledgable sales consultant who is easy to work with and helped us get the car we wanted at a fair price. I recommend buying a car from him.

would highly recommend Kelly Volkswagen for purchasing a used vehicle. Both my son & I worked with Jackie, Matt & Kendra and they were all great. Jackie was wonderful & very helpful and patient. In the past, we had some negative experiences with purchasing used vehicles from other dealers, so we had some concerns. Both Jackie and Matt addressed those concerns and made the process of purchasing a used vehicle easy, and eliminated the stress.
