I have bought or leased three vehicles now from Patrick Motors VW in Auburn. The customer service and attention to detail is always excellent. The leasing process is always quick and painless. My most recent lease was for a 2016 VW Tiguan and could not be happier. My sales consultant was David Haynes. David has an excellent knowledge of the VW product lines and was extremely helpful in working with me to find the right vehicle for my current needs. I will definitely plan on using David in the future. Thanks David for all your help.

I highly recommend taking the trip to Patrick VW Auburn. It took me over 1.5 hrs and happy I did. I cannot say enough about the level of Professionalism, Knowledge and Outstanding Customer Service I received from Sales Consultant Jon O'Brien to Dan Garney in the Financial Dept. I never felt pressured into a purchase and the cars are not overpriced and researched at market value or below on NADA,CARGURU and EDMUNDS. Definitely worth the time, you wont be disappointed.

I have been looking for a car for a while, with not such great luck. Fed up with the search and the awful people I had been dealing with, I decided to check out VW again. (Backstory: I've had an 09 VW EOS - the hard top convertible. The guy who sold it to me saw me as a young, dumb, blonde, and took full advantage of me, and kind of left a bad taste in my mouth.) Living 60+ miles away from Patrick VW in CT, I gave them a call first to see if it was worth my time to make the trip. After spending about 10 minutes on the phone, I decided to make an appointment to come in the next day. First impressions: Dan Heckman and Dan Garney were SO nice! I didn't feel like they were trying to take advantage of me at all, or uncomfortable in the least, which was very refreshing. I mostly worked with Dan Heckman, and he was the best salesman I have EVER worked with. He listened to my questions and was straightforward with me, was incredibly knowledgeable about the entire fleet of VW cars - present and past, was so easy to talk to, and had me in, out, and signed for a new car within about 2 hours! He made the whole car buying process unbelievably pleasant. I would absolutely recommend anyone looking to buy ANY car - new or used, to check out VW. Specifically, GO SEE DAN HECKMAN AT PATRICK VW!! You won't be disappointed! I am so excited to drive my 2016 VW Jetta! Thank you to everyone who helped me today, I can't wait to see you guys at 10,000 miles!

Awful dealership which will lie to customers to their face, and when you catch them in their lie will just blame it on a former employee (who the dealership hired!). Worst customer service I have every experienced. Will never call anyone back. Customers most consistently call in order to get an answers. Employees will also look to duck your calls and not do their jobs. DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP!!!

It's a car dealership...they are all the same. I managed to get out of there without being raked over the coals and overall the deal was fair and I was not treated like a second class citizen.

One of the worst buying experiences ever. We found a car on Cars.com and it was not the cheapest car in the area, about $800.00 more but we liked the color they had. Big sign as you walk in the door guaranteed lowest price. We showed them the list of other prices in the area and they would not come down a penny. So we said we would take it anyway because we loved the color. They take a deposit on the charge card and we start to do the paper work. I tell them I can get a 3% loan rate with our credit union. And they came back with 4%. So I said we'll just use our credit union and bring a bank check for the full amount. No big deal, right. We were only borrowing 8,000.00 on a 26,500.00 car. I felt more comfortable using our credit union even if they matched the rate. They refused and demanded we use their financing if we wanted the car. We felt something was wrong and said we'll pass on the car. We asked for our deposit back (that they just took 5 minutes earlier and we had not signed a thing just a credit application) and he said we'll do it tomorrow. A week later it has not been credited. It turns out we learned that all dealers get a kick back for loans. We had no problem with that if they just simply told us. But we didn't understand why they could not take essentially cash, no trade in for the full asking price the next day the bank opened. They essentially made $500 or so less for not selling a loan too, but we didn’t know that and they didn’t tell us that, so we felt something was very wrong (like prepayment penalties on the loan). When we went to the next dealer on the list Patrick had called ahead to try and black ball us. We did buy the exact same car there for about a $1000.00 less and 3% finance using their bank (we now understood and they never explained it either but they matched out bank and sold the car cheaper).

They sold a brand new VW Jetta last week and the experience was unforgetable! They went above and beyond to make sure my experience was outstanding. My wife and I shopped around at a few other VW stores and found that Patrick had the best price and the most knowledge. We ended up dealing with 2 salespeople (which we were kind of concerned about because sometimes too many cooks spoil the broth) but Mike Powaza and Dan Hechtman worked together to make sure that every question we had was answered properly and in a timely manner. We are the type of people that like to know everything inside and out and they both showed a lot of patience in answering all of our questions. They even went as far to program in all of the radio stations to my wifes favorite settings. What a great place to do business, take the trip down and it will be worth your while. Mike

Came in and ended up getting an 04 Saab 93. negotiated a price on the phone but had to renegotiate when I got there like we never had a coversation. paid $1200 extra to get the car certified. got this hand filled inspection note that the car went through a rigorous inspection. on my way home from the dealership with the car I heard noises from the front wheels, ended up being a sway bar that needed to replaced which is on the Saab certified check list, obviously not checked by them, also the next morning I realized that the rear defrost was not functional and the rear glass had to be replaced, also on the check list... so I had to go back twice to get this taken care of so this and the tennis ball I found in the engine leads me to believe that they pocketed the $1200 and did not check the car at all or bring it up to Saab standards, obviously I will never be back, not for service and definitly not for another car and I will do my best to spread this experience wherever I can.
