Best Dealer Ever

by ggauzon on 12/03/2017

Waldorf Honda is the best dealership I have dealt with in years! This morning I called and spoke to the GM, Dan Molltz. I shared with him what I was looking for. In 30 mins he texted me back with a picture of the car I was looking for. 10 minutes after that he sent me an exact on the road price! No gimmicks or add ons in his quote. I told him I would be there late afternoon to pick it up. Two hours later I showed up at the dealership and was greeted by the used car manager, Lee. He let me test drive the car and see the clean carfax. He did thus without me even asking! Very professional those guys! Then I spoke to the GSM, Mike Council, and he suggested I call Honda to see if there was any warranty left since at one time it was certified. Unfortunately, there wasn't, but kudos to him for even suggesting that! Then I was brought to the finance manager Tyler. Originally I was going to pay cash for the car, but since I was registering it in the company name, he showed me a way to benifit my company. I appreciate him looking out for me. Moving forward, I will only by cars from Waldorf Honda! They truly treated me like family! I know I got an awesome deal, but beyond that the whole experience was very memorable! THANK YOU Dan, Lee, Mike, and Tyler

Purchased new 2017 accord LX CVT

by rhonwall14 on 11/20/2017

Next time you need a new Honda, give them a try. I bought a new 2017 accord from them, great price, service and excellence customer service. There site provides upfront with Out the door cost, with the actual cost break down (selling price, destination cost, discount, fees, tax, tag and title) with express check out online. My sales rep Mark Green and sales manager Mike Council are awesome, we agreed on the price over the phone and via email, and when i got to the store next day, there was no surprise or extra add on. I negotiated the price over the phone under 15 min, i bought many cars but this is by far the best experienced i had with a dealership. Once i got to the actual store the whole process took 90 min. I drove 70+ miles one way and past at least 5 Honda dealers on the way but I was not disappointed.

Worst experience

by Boy1234 on 11/28/2016

If planning to buy a car from this dealership better go somewhere else. They are easy to talk when you are buying their cars but if you need something from them it will be take forever to have an answer. Never talk to Salman the guy from finance, worst person to talk to. No courtesy to customers. We a car in there and after giving them calls for tags for 2 months they will tell you need to come back to sign a paperwork. After 2 months nobody saw it after giving them multiple calls, it's there responsibility to have this tracked not the customers. And we came the guy Salman told my wife "your tag expired?" And I don't know what to do about it? and he even blamed us that "you should have called before it expired" Really????!!! We've calling so many times and he even talk to me according to his records. Not a good place to buy your car. Until now I don't have answer from my gap and extended warranty insurance about the refund.

Absolute Worst Experience Ever

by CarBuyer0123 on 01/25/2016

If I could give Waldorf Honda zero stars, I absolutely would. My husband and I purchase a new vehicle (new to us, always purchase used) every 3-4 years and I can say with all honesty that I have never had an experience this bad. Not even close. Essentially, Waldorf Honda sold us a $28,000 flower pot, for all intents and purposes. We purchased a used vehicle that had problems right out of the gate and, though we started calling within the first week, we were past the 30 day mark by the time they finally responded. We called, and called, and called, left message after message, and got no response. It wasn't until the truck died completely, had to have it towed to our local mechanic, and had our mechanic call the dealership, that they finally got involved. The Turbo was shot, several cylinders were not firing, and that was just the beginnings of the problems. Basically, the thing is a complete piece of garbage. Waldorf Honda came and picked the vehicle up so that they could have their service department look at it. I was assured by the used car manager that "they would make it right" because that's the type of business they are. What a joke that was. After an additional Six Weeks of run around (during which they had the truck "in their shop") they told us the repairs were going to cost over $3000, of which they were going to charge us $1500+. They claimed they were splitting the cost to "do the right thing", however, the final bill showed that we paid for every dime of the "repairs". P.S., the vehicle Still Doesn't Work!!! Here we are, almost 3 months later, with a $28,000 vehicle that is completely un-useable, and no one will call us back. We try, and try, and try, and get nothing. No response. No calls back. Radio silence. I would Never recommend Waldorf Honda, not even to my worst enemy, and am seriously considering legal action against them.

They tried to tell me that my car was valued at only $500, when Kelly Blue Book has it at a minimum of $4,500...This "expert" decision was made after a consultant sat in my car for 1.5 minutes and revved the engine--never looked under the hood, etc...Meanwhile another dealer had already previously offered me a $5,500 trade-in value due to the car's excellent condition...Buyer beware, these guys are [non-permissible content removed]. Just because I am a young woman, doesn't mean I am naive.

Wonderful Car Buying and Service Experience

by prissylee on 02/20/2015

I bought my 2012 Honda CrossTour in January 2013 and I love this car. My sales rep was Saheed and he was very informative on my vehicle and overall excellent customer service. Service sometimes can be a wait but I don't mind because it lets me know how many people love Honda vehicles. I will be purchasing the 2016 Honda CrossTour.

Outstanding Buying Experience

by Larry_H on 10/27/2014

I had an outstanding car buying experience at Waldorf Honda. I credit that experience to a great staff of folks especially Maria Perez and Harold "Hal" Stephen. I have had some challenging experiences while going through the process of buying a new automobile. When I made the decision to visit Waldorf Honda first before any other Honda dealer my intention was not to purchase only to get a price so I could do a comparison among other Honda dealerships such as PoHanka and Bowie. As a consumer, I want the best deal for my money and I feel that I got just that at Waldorf Honda. If you are looking for great customer service in your search for purchasing a vehicle, I highly recommend that you visit Waldorf Honda.

2014 Odyssey

by amysor on 09/11/2014

Excellent sales team, I negotiated a Out the Door price via email and was given the price without any hassle. Sales staff was very professional and not at all pushy, same for the finance staff. I was asked if I wanted any accessories and was not forced to pick one, the car was not loaded with unwanted accessories and I really appreciated that. Please ask for Terrence J or Maria P for the best service ever.

Don't buy anything from this place!!!

by DLB777 on 09/10/2014

If you are looking for an honest salesman or dealership, a quality vehicle, good customer service matters to you, or you see an online price that you like, DON'’T BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE. Not only are they not honest, have poor customer service, poor damaged vehicles, they don'’t even honor the online prices they have posted. They even try to slip increases in that differ from your negotiation when you are signing documents without mentioning them. TOTALLY DISHONEST. I recently purchased a Lexus GS 350 from here. Before making this purchase, I owned an older GS 350. When I saw the car online, it looked really sharp. Once I got off work, I went to the dealership to check it out. When I got there and tested the car, I found out that the trunk wouldn't open. When I asked about it. They indicated they were aware and would have Lexus fix it. That did not seem like a major problem or abnormal. So I consented I later found out that the car had been pulled out of repair before it was fully inspected and repaired so someone could test drive it. Apparently, after that test drive they never bothered to finish the inspection and repairs. I should have known not to move forward with this purchase when there were discrepancies with the online price I was guaranteed, agreed to and what was finally financed. I stopped the finance guy as soon as I noticed. He acknowledge the discrepancies, walked out to ask about them and came back with some foolish story about the $500-800 being like house purchase closing cost changes. I now believe that to be some trick they play once you are signing documents. When I got it home, in addition to the trunk not working, there were a few other items that they missed. Here is where my saga begins:… 1. When closing the deal, the salesman placed the temporary tags on the vehicle. So I did not notice until I got home that evening that the front license plate was screwed straight into the bumper. It was not centered and only one side of the plate was screwed in because the other hole was so far away. The salesperson had to have noticed it when he screwed in the plate but he never mentioned it to me. Apparently the front plate holder had been removed and no one replaced it. Everybody knows that in our area you need front and back plates to be compliant with the law. 2. The driver front side bumper was loose. The car is black and in the darkening night (it was like 6pm or so when I arrived), it looked spotless. Once I drove into my garage, I noticed there was a gap in the bumper from a missing clip. It was not totally secure. 3. At this point, I started testing everything all over again. I then noticed that the moonroof was broken. You have to play with it to get it sealed. 4. As I walked around the car under the light of my garage, there were about 6 paint nicks and 2 scratches on the passenger side door. They agreed to fix these items. I took it in. Pointed out all the items but when they brought the car back, there were 2 or 3 of the nicks that I pointed out to them still there. 5. Finally, I decided to review the manuals that were in the glove compartment. When I opened them, I noticed there were two sets of ES 300/350 manuals in the glove compartment. No GS 350. They took both sets of manuals and promised to provide GS 350 manuals. I'’ve asked at least 5 times for the GS 350 manuals that they promised they would get. Still nothing. Every time I ask about them, they are like, "oh yeah, I'll see what I can find around here."” I took the car in on a Wednesday for them to take it to Lexus for the repairs as they indicated they would do. They said it would take two days and I’d have my car by close of business on Friday. They gave me a Chevy Malibu as a loaner (I did say that I purchased a Lexus GS 350, right?). On Friday afternoon, no one had called me to provide any type of update on the status of the car. I called at least 5 or 6 times and no one could tell me anything. It was the weekend. I had plans and no idea on if I was going to have my car. If Lexus had to order parts, someone should have consulted me so I could have had my vehicle while the parts are being ordered. (However, I found out they NEVER took my car to Lexus. They kept my car and attempted to fix the issues themselves, without telling me about this change in plans.) After 6 or 7 more calls, around 8:30/9:00 pm I get an email saying they got busy and my car wouldn'’t be ready until Tuesday. I was furious. Even though I raised concerns about the vehicle they placed me in and the extended delays, they NEVER offered to place me in a comparable car. On Tuesday, it was more of the same. Me waiting and calling and no one had any information. When I finally got someone they said it would be another day. This is when I found out they were working on it and not Lexus as they indicated. Now it is Wednesday, an entire week later and they haven't been able to fix the car and have now taken it to Lexus. When I asked what they were going to do to make this right, I was told once it was repaired they could give me a free oil change.… Can you believe that??? An oil change!!! I don't know what is more unbelievable, the fact they knew about these concerns while the car was on the lot and being advertised, or the totally unacceptable lack on communication and engagement during this repair. Totally unbelievable and more over, unacceptable. I'm still trying to resolve my issue but wanted to make sure no one else who uses the Internet to find a car wastes money or time on this place. My next emails will be going to the news outlets to get help.

Fantastic!

by HeadyBy on 05/12/2014

I bought a CR-V here 9 years/310,000 miles ago from Saeed S. That experience, plus the service and parts departments, are why I'm back. In addition to Saeed, my experiences with the Service staff (Jeff, Robert, Bernard, Diane, O) and the mechanics (Maco, Sonny, Todd) are all positive. Everyone is professional, friendly, and helpful. They remember my name, my family, and my vehicles - where I come from, that counts for something. Everyone should buy from Waldorf Honda.

Service

by kjwoj on 04/11/2014

Honda is a company that prides itself on it service. Unfortunately, this dealership does not abide by the rule of Honda. I brought a Odyssey for service of my rear seat. Once i determined that I did not want the service done due to the price, i requested the seat to be placed back in the van in the same position as when it came in. Unfortunately, they decided to leave the seat apart and now I cannot put the seat upright. I called and they refused to assist me without me paying additional fees. On top of that, I was told a service manager would contact me but no one did. This is not the first time I had an issue with this dealership. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. I can only hope that I am the only one that has experienced this with this place. I like the Honda experience, but I am now looking into Toyota.

Waldorf Honda does not honor its agreements

by sweetride2014 on 04/06/2014

Waldorf Honda is a dishonest dealership which engages in wrongful business practices. I worked with a Waldorf Honda internet consultant over e-mail and agreed on a final out-the-door price (including all dealer fees, destination fees, taxes, registration, etc) for a particular vehicle they had in stock. However, after driving over an hour to the dealership and waiting for hours to complete the paperwork, Waldorf Honda refused to honor the agreement. The salesman claimed that there was some sort of "mistake" on the internet price quote (even though it was clearly stated numerous times in e-mail). He tried to convince us to pay $1,600 over the agreed upon price, claiming that we wouldn’t find a better deal from any other dealership. When I refused to accept anything other than the agreed upon price, the manager came into the finance room and accused me of knowingly trying to take advantage of the "mistake". Needless to say, I left without a vehicle and will never step foot in this dealership again. In short, the low internet offer was only a scam to get us to go to that particular dealership. Don’t waste your time or money at Waldorf Honda!!

Outstanding and smooth purchase

by jtc157 on 02/19/2014

My salesman Tim C. made this a very easy and pleasant process. His knowledge of the vehicle and professionalism speak volumes to the sales staff here. From selecting my vehicle and moving through the finance paperwork all of the people were polite knowledgeable and friendly. I would highly recommend my salesman Tim and this dealership to all my family and friends.
