Worst deal ship experience

After asking via email, listed vehicle availability and pricing, got generic response to call them. In mean time got 3 calls from them and finally picked up. Salesman Geoff was insisting me to come, after I asked him to send me an email with vehicle availability and price since I am working with other dealers on a same way. He started yelling and insulting me how I dare to interrupt him and hang up. Very upsetting experience. Do not approach this dealer!

The car works, wonderfully. When I make a large purchase from individuals who begins to act suspect their actions cast doubt over the entire transaction. It's been inspected twice.3 days ago my radio malfunctioned. My mother recommended that, because of how new the car is I take it back to where I purchased it. My response to her after my ONGOING Ourisman nightmare, They barely sold me a car. I would not trust Oruisman of Rockville to make me a sandwich. Start at phone and email follow up and maybe someday when you're ready you can touch my car. Ourisman was given all the documents 2 weeks in advance. Informed of my need to have most, if not all of the things that to not require my presence done prior to my arrival due to time constraints multiple times, culminating in an email that laid expectations, the cost of the Uber ($112) if things fell through, and identifying my redlines before ending "Your professionals, I trust your judgment. Understanding the dollar amounts I provided that would block me from proceeding, do you recommend I come in on Friday to finish things up? With that info if you say yes, I’ll be there!" I was reassured. I got there at 9am in an Uber after calling to ask why the ride were supposed to arrange had not contacted me and I was told he forgot and asked to get there on my own. I will not leave the dealership until 5:30pm. Lacking Honesty: If the things you'd promised me were done were not done I think its fair to say you're honesty may be questionable. I'd selected a vehicle and over the course of 72 hours prior to the sales date I'd made multiple contacts with my consultant during all of those calls something slipped his mind. When I sat in the chair I was informed that the car I selected was gone. He then began looking over his shoulder and asking if I wanted random cars from the lot. Suspicious, I turned off silence on my phone and sat it on the desk, then went out into the lot and gave him 2 options. Financing is supposed to be largely done. Mastercard Identity Protect is the fastest credit monitoring gun in the west + I thought it hilarious years ago to make my text tone the chorus of "Last Night a DJ Save My Life." If you'd fudged the truth about completing any of this work, i.e. Financing, that you assured me had been done prior to my arrival. Talked to financing to engage them ASAP, then came to let me know it will be a few minutes as they quickly processed credit applications, you'd need to speak a little louder. The Sales consultant, Sales floor manager, finance representative , and the GENERAL MANGER needed to speak up. Mastercard flagging all of he new activity and texting it to me. For 8 hours every time someone at Ourisman was on their way to or in the process of lying to me about financing they needed to speak up because, "Last night a DJ saved my life." Questionable Reliability: Ignoring me having to pay for the Uber they promised me there.Warning! EVERYONE: Get paper version of your vehicle sales documents. No one knows how to operate that fancy tech they are using. When they ask you to set a password during signing allow me to finish what they do not explain. This password will be used to unlock the package that will be emailed to you containing all proof of purchase documents.I know the password I set and its not working I tested and confirmed that ZIP package is corrupted. I identified the issue at 6:30pm 23 days ago and it is still ongoing. For 23 days the car has been parked on the Street. My property manager must have proof of a valid inspection to issue a parking pass. It is inside of the Zip package. I cannot get phone calls returned. Emails go unanswered. This is still happening as of 9/11/22 @ 12:38pm. Thursday of last week, SURPRISE HERO the finance company horrified by what is occurring right now at Ourisman refused to execute the loan. While she couldn't think of a way to get me all 10 documents due to me, she could refuse until I had documents specific to financing. I had a sales contract in 3 minutes. 1 down 9 to go.

Quick check of a new care

I purchased a new Passat from this dealership. During the first drive on the highway I noticed a wiggle in the steering at high speed. I took the car in to be checked and was assigned a service rep. I was treated with respect and my concerns were acknowledged. I left the car. I was kept up to date by the service rep. and when I went in to pick up the car I was given an understandable description of what they found/didn't find and what measures were taken to correct what I noticed. I was informed as to what to expect next and was reassured to contact them if I noticed anything else. I was contacted by an independent agent after the service for my comments. I'm looking forward to having them service my car in the future. I feel my car and my concerns will be treated with respect and the service done will be professional.

My VW purchasing experience

I purchased a new Passat from the dealership, I hate buying cars because I do not enjoy the sales games. However, my experience was much more pleasant than I expected. The salesman's level of knowledge was very expansive. He was definitely a no pressure guy and helped me choose the correct vehicle for me. He stayed with me through out the whole experience even checking on how it was going when I moved to the finance office to sign paperwork. The sales rep totally set up all the complicated tech features on the car and gave me a tutorial before I drove off the lot. The dealership has contacted me several times since the sale to make sure that I am still pleased with the car and the service. Although I don't like the "dance" around setting a price for a new car I have to say I felt very well taken care of and satisfied during and after the sale. I would highly recommend this dealership. They truly cared about my satisfaction.

Bait and switch on Internet price

Came in after receiving a price by email from Ourisman - salesman then proceeded to show me all of the rebates and discounts I did not qualify for, adding $3k to the price. I ended up using TrueCar service, and bought the Jetta at Stohlman - total cost from Stohlman was $3k less than the crazy pumped up price from Ourisman.

Even though I ran into a little complication with my loan, Justin was very professional and helpful throughout the entire evening. He really took the time to make sure our car buying experience went as smooth as possible! The staff at Ourisman, including my salesman Justin Margot, were helpful and professional in my recent purchase of a new Mazda 3. One small point - they weren't fully-informed on all the features and options. But overall they made things go smoothly, including trading another dealer for the particular car I wanted and offering the True Car price.

I recently moved to the DMV from NY and wasn't planning to purchase a vehicle for at least a year. After finding my dream car, it was too good to be true and I jumped in to make the purchase. My sales rep, Jay Gl, was the best. He jumped in head first when I saw the car pop up on the Ourisman website and ran out to take photos/provide details to me before it hit the lot. He bent over backwards the entire process, and he never once made me feel pressured to make the purchase. This is something rare in car salesmen, and something I appreciated wholeheartedly. If you are looking for a no hassle, help-friendly sales person... GO TO JAY!!!

Team Alonso and Caisha

My daughter was in search of her first car and had a very distinct idea of what she wanted. When we found it at Ourisman and spoke with Caisha W., we decided to be open and laid out what we wanted and what we thought we could do. Instead of taking advantage of the information, Caisha walked us through the process and guided us with good info and patience. She couldn't be there on the day that we came to the dealer and passed us along to Alonso Avila. When we arrived he knew everything we had told Caisha, had the car out front, and he and his business manager got creative and helped us work out a good deal for everyone I think. Smart, patient, friendly and welcoming are generally not the terms that come to mind when discussing the purchase of a used car, but they do here. We have a certified Tiguan, my daughter is happy and that makes dad happy. I highly recommend these guys, they are giving car sales a good name.

Caisha was fantastic. Just when I thought customer service in car sales was a lost art, Caisha stood up to the challenge and far exceeded my expectations. She has a customer for life. I have always hated pushy car sales people, but Caisha was a breath of fresh air. If you are buying a VW or Mazda, get it from her, she will treat you like a person and not a sale.

We came in after visiting several other dealerships. We dealt with a few salesmen who couldn't take no for an answer and would badmouth other dealers and cars were thinking of. (we were looking for midsize SUVs with 3rd row....Honda, Chevy, Mazda) This dealership had the best deal we found, and we went to check it out. The car was in great condition and the deal was legit. Jay G. was our salesman, and we were very comfortable with him. He has a much more laidback style than many other styles, and came across as much more honest. My wife and I both felt much more comfortable with him. He gave us his opinion, both pros and cons, of both the Mazda CX-9 and Chevy Traverse we were looking at. In the end, we bought the CX-9 2013 with 17K miles on it. Really happy with our car, our deal, and our experience. If you want a relaxed, honest, salesman Jay is the one to go to. zoom zoom

I have to say, that the only better service I have gotten was in Hawaii. This was actually a pleasant service, the way it should be. VW need a bit of care, and it is nice to have a dealer service (because I used to ovoid it when they were called Congressional). It was the service guy that told me the Bettles were good, and I took it in for the window fix recall, and it was good. I might get another car from them soon.
