Great salesman and management!

by Mustangnos on 04/03/2016

This is the 5th time I bought a vehicle from this place. Desmond is the best salesman I have ever had! I have puchased 3 vehicles from him (including a dodge)! I highly recommend this dealership for anyone who is looking for a Ford or Dodge! My new vehicle purchase took less then 20 minutes!

Don't Shop Here

by dixiegirl33 on 02/26/2015

I looked at a vehicle that had been traded in talked to a salesman and he gave me a price, But said they had to inspected it, which was fine. The inspection took a little longer then expected. I looked on there web site a week and half later only to see the vehicle post on the site and with a higher price then I was originally quoted. So I called my salesman and he said it was not finished getting the inspection, I didn't not tell him that I saw it on their web site. He then called me back and said there was a problem and it did not pass and said there were looking into fixing it and it would not affect the price I was quoted. ??? I called the next day to find out what was going on and he was not there I talked to someone else and he told me that it needed something for inspection and he gave me a price that was on the web site, I told him that I was quoted a lower price and he said the higher price was because it need things to pass inspection. I told him about the posting and that it posted even before inspection was done and what I was told he didn't seem to care. This is not the first time dealing with the dealership, and things didn't workout. They seem to think that because they are the only dealership in Mt. Airy that don't have to be competitive with other dealership and don't hold to there word either. So I went to a different dealership where the service is far better and the price was so much better and bought something from them. I try to shop local when I can BUT WILL NEVER SHOP AT CENTURY FORD AND WOULD ENCOURAGE PEOPLE TO SHOP ELSE WHERE.

Beware - they sold us a car reported stolen and refused to help

by magroove on 01/01/2015

I purchased a used car from them for my son. Century Ford registered it in Maryland, but when my son moved to another state to register it came up as stolen. Son called Century Ford and refused to help, saying "not our problem" and would not give him any info on how they got the car. It took multiple calls from the police (who were also annoyed at them) before they reluctantly provided some info. Even then they were claiming they only provided the name of the company where they purchased it and claimed they did not know who to contact. It didn't help that for a car they claimed to have checked out it developed issues within months that obviously they did not address as claimed. Obviously they have sloppy internal procedures and no customer loyalty after the sale. I will not buy from them again and have warned everyone I know about this.

Happy with our new car and the price we paid

by car4us2 on 12/22/2011

We were very happy with our purchase of our new Ford Escape. We felt like we got a good deal and Lenny Fuchs in the internet department was helpful and informative.

New Dodge Durango Citadel

by durangocitadel on 09/28/2011

I recently purchased a new Dodge Durango Citadel from Century Dodge and they were really easy to work with and very professional in every way. I would recommend this vehicle to anyone needing to seat 7 comfortably.

Honest dealer, good experience

by haulsalot on 03/27/2011

I have purchased about a dozen new cars over the past 20 years and 2 used cars from dealers. This purchase experience was better than most (though most have been good, really). Century was very price competitive, beating several other dealerships with whom I had been working. They were also easy to do business with and delivered everything promised in a timely and professional manner. When it came to financing, I didn't think anyone could beat the deal I had negotiated with my bank and yet they were able to beat the interest rate by .125% and did not charge the fee that my bank wanted. The loan (not a manufacturer buy down or incentive) was as easy as any I have ever done.

what a horrible experience

by tamas2evil on 04/01/2009

First, I would like to state that the first commuications with this company was with Frances a nice and professional sales associate. He got back to us with questions we had via the internet. We bought the same vehicle (2004 Nissan Xterra) from him the same week. After the sale of the vehicle the costumer service dropped dramatically. We had a girl named Anna call us with little to no knowledge of what she was trying to talk about. The problem with that is she thought she did know what she was speaking to us about. After calling us on Thursday night I asked her a question she could not answer nicely she stated she would call us back. Anna then called us on Friday late afternoon and again started talking about Pennsylvania law like she knew it and again she was wrong. She stated she would call us latest on Tuesday. Wednesday I called and spoke with her supervisor and it was stated that her employee had the paper work done on her desk since Friday. That was extremely difficult to hear as we were waiting for that to come in the mail to get our vehicle tagged and titled. We had also made plans with taking off work early to get this done. We were also promised, in the contract, our vehicle would come with a set of keys. When we asked about the second key we were told that we must go and buy the key from somewhere else and they would then reimburse us once they have a reciept. The last thing so far, we had to deal with was when our vehicle's had a head gasket blow which was a week or so after the title paper work was over nighted to us. My husband called as the vehicle was and is still under the warranty. They provided him with a Ford Focus that smelled of smoke and coffee not to mention the dirt, coffee stains and cigarette ashes all over. After a week of waiting the vehicle still is in the shop we have heard lies from their service department, if anything at all. I called Century to ask how things were going because we hadn't heard and I was talked to as if I were a child. The service gentleman stated "I spoke with your husband and told him that we wouldn't hear anything for another few days." This after he told my husband that our vehicle would be ready at the end of the week and I was calling on Thursday. Our vehicle had been shipped to another dealership in the area as they would not familiar with the model. We stopped by the dealership the Xterra was sent to and all our questions were answered. That dealership had provided more answers than our OWN dealership (CENTURY). This dealership has provided us with the worse possible service you could imagine.
