Fantastic experience with Floyd and Sean

by AllisonZ on 11/28/2017

Allison Zerr in the last week Excellent purchase experience with Floyd Summers and the Jim Coleman Team Floyd was top notch. He answered all of my questions, spent as much time as I needed to learn how to operate all of the systems on the car. Sean Garrison, pre-owned car manager thoroughly explained the Certified Pre-Owned warranty and Jass in finance got me a great rate . I highly recommend Jim Coleman Infiniti and Floyd Summers when purchasing a new or pre-owned Infiniti.

Great Car Buying Experience

by novacustomer on 04/03/2017

We recently were in the market for a new QX-60. After doing quite a bit of on-line shopping across the mid-Atlantic, we ended up purchasing from Jim Coleman for a number of reasons: 1) Both Ahmad Hasif (Internet Sales Manager) and Ryan Latham (General Sales Manager) were extremely responsive to all questions and queries. 2) There was no pressure to come in or vagaries in the pricing. They priced precisely the vehicles I was asking for including all the options I wanted and only those options. 3) Jim Coleman’s pricing was in line with the lowest pricing I received from any other the dealers queried and unlike many other dealers their pricing was not tied to one specific vehicle. Basically, once we had agreed on a price and options, we had our pick of vehicles that had those options. 4) In the end, we got the vehicle we wanted for the price we were looking for and everything was completed on line and in two phone calls. 5) On the day set for the pickup the paper work was completed very quickly and Ahmad provided a thorough and complete introduction to the car. All in all, a wonderful experience and would definitely buy from Jim Coleman again! Great job to Ahmad, Ryan, and the whole team there.

The future of car buying starts at Coleman Infiniti

by InfinitE on 02/17/2017

I was contact by the internet sales manager Ahmad Hanif. His initial email was tailored to my inquiry which was immediately follow by a phone call. Given that I live a distance from Bethesda, Ahmad made me feel respected and valued over the phone and in his email. It took us a while to come to an agreement with his manager Ryan Letham but we made a deal and I drove off with the biggest smile on my face. I will definitely send them referrals!

Great Internet Sales Manager

by mdguy101 on 10/15/2016

I've leased several cars from this dealer and they are terrific. Ahmad Hanif is their Internet Sales Manager and he is great. Over the years he has always looked out for good deals for me and notified me when he has something he thought would interest me. He recently got me into a new 2016 Q50S and after having been disappointed with my previous Q50, he convinced me to just test drive the 2016. Great car. I would highly recommend you ask for Ahmad when you are interested in an Infiniti at Jim Coleman. He is a great guy and will work to insure you get a really good deal.

3rd time buyer

by richard_2 on 08/25/2016

I just bought my 3rd vehicle from Jim Coleman, first after 8 years and it was easier than before. I was able to select a vehicle from their inventory on their website, was also able to settle on a final price via email so when I got there it only took 2 hours to walk out with my new car. Extremely easy buying experience, I highly recommend them.

Great dealership to work with in the DMV

by motogp3 on 03/02/2015

My wife and I have been Infiniti owners since 2005. We've leased 4 cars from Jim Coleman and couldn't any happier with their service. They call us to let us know about any specials and if they can offer us a deal and 90% of the time, we upgrade our leases earlier than the term. We just picked up our Q50S and are very happy with the experience at the dealership and the car itself... such an amazing car! Our G37x sedan lease is coming up soon too, and looking forward to leasing a QX60 as the family is growing.

Unprofessional bait and switch operation buyer beware.

by saturno_v69 on 02/23/2015

My experience with Jim Coleman Infiniti has been a textbook case of why car dealers have often such bad popular reputation and cannot be trusted.. I live in another state and a month ago I started looking for a particular color and engine combination for an Infiniti QX70 SUV. That V8 engine is no longer proposed for MY 2015 and this dealer had a remaining 2014 model on the lot (been there for almost a year) which I did look up on their web site inventory page. I did call them up chat with a sales person and I made an offer, he did put me on hold to talk to the sales manager and replied with what was the best price they could do and he did send some pictures. The next day a supposed "sales manager", Vince, did call me and reiterated the same offer, they would not do it for a dollar less...ok I said, let me think about it over the weekend. I called him after 3 days to accept their counteroffer and he told me that the car has actually been sold, "good for you" I replied and thank him anyway end of the story, my loss. Well, this guy call me back after 5 minutes asking me "just to make sure we are on the same page, how much you were offering for this car?" I replied "I offer what you suggested to me twice", well he says, "this other buyer is offering 5 grand more", "great, I'm happy for him". This was the first bad sign.....first you say that car is supposedly sold and then you try to get more money from me? What if I said "I will offer another $1000 more"....are you going to renege on the other supposed buyer that already agreed on the price? Moral of the story, the car is still there after 3 weeks so I call them up to let them know my offer (well their offer) was still standing and if they were ready to do business.....it turned out that their offer "was a mistake" a miscalculation" and they cannot do it...the car is "rare" (it has been sitting on the lot for one year so it is "rare" but nobody wants it anyway) and there were 2 "real" buyers but fell through....riiiiiight!! I challenged him on the fact he was trying to get more money from me even after this imaginary buyer supposedly had already bought the car on an agreed price. My suggestion is to deal with this dealer very careful only in writing and read all the fine print, their word is not worth anything (especially this Vince guy) and they will gladly do a 180 degree on you even when you think you have a deal in your hands....beware, not the kind of shop I would do internet business with. In my case, they better have another buyer because at this point I would not buy that car from them even if they come back with an extra 10K off their original offer, I not trust doing business 3000 miles away with this type of people.

awesome experience!

by truelyurs on 07/17/2014

After visiting many other dealerships in the area, I found Jim Coleman Infiniti in Bethesda to be an excellent place to buy a car. Ahmad was extremely informative of the model I had chosen and washes open about the car, history etc. The purchase of the vehicle was a very smooth transaction, I couldn't have been happier! Also, there was a hurdle on in the delivery of the vehicle as I am about an hour from the dealership. Ahmad and a coworker volunteered to follow me home with the purchased vehicle and an additional car so I wouldn't have to drive bad to Bethesda! Ahmad when above and beyond to make my purchase exceptional! Thank you!

Long time Coleman customer

by ron2323 on 12/15/2012

We have bought 4 Infinitis over the years--all from Coleman. Our current salesman, Jim M. was very knowledgeable, helpful and low key. They had the car I wanted at the price I wanted. We plan on continuing to be Coleman customers for my wife's next car as well

I was blown away by the customer service i received when buying my 2002 Nissan Maxima. The dealership worked as a team to make sure all my needs were fulfilled. The detailing department made the car look as if it had just come off the lot. Two thumbs up and five stars!

Never again.

by edsets on 08/05/2011

After a week with the new car I complained about the transmission. Was told to drive it awhile and it would be fine. Was also called and told that they are so unhappy that I'm unhappy. I was invited to come in, since the car is only a few days old they "would make me whole" and put me in the 37X...no fuss. I went. Silly me. Their definition of "make me whole" was to offer me either a new 37x in exchange for the 25x and $10,000 or exchange the 25x for a 3 year old "basic" 37x with I now forget how many miles on it. When i reacted poorly to either of these offers they talked down to me while explaining the concept of depreciation. I understand the concept very well. I countered with my understanding of the phrase "make you whole". They agreed that was what was said but in their world ... well, what more needs to be said. They thought they had a shot at more money and it didn't matter whose time they wasted trying to get it. Shame on them. Shame on me for thinking they'd eventually step up to the plate. Read the rest of my experience with the 25x and this dealership under the car review posted earlier today. Over the years I've moved from a used chevy (post college), corolla, camery, bmw, to the Infinity 25x. I've never had a complaint worth writing about until now. I kept this car only 6 months. Loosing a few dollars was well worth ending this relationship with both Infinity and Jim Coleman.

Good Experience

by guld on 09/03/2010

The internet team did a fabulous job of providing the information that I needed to evaluate their offers. Although the dealer is a bit unassuming, at the time we were on the market, they had the largest inventory of cars with manual transmission. The staff was accommodating and reasonable during the negotiation process. In the end, although we didn't get a steal, we got a fair price for our new vehicle and trade.

Purchase of My M35x

by jcoppley on 11/20/2008

I found the car I wanted on a listing on the Internet. It turned out that the lowest mileage, previously owned M35 was at Jim Coleman. When I visited the showroom and asked about the car, I received very professional and easy-to-work-with service. I took the car for a drive and negotiated the deal that I wanted. The negotiation was handled well and I was happy with the final out-the-door price. The only thing left was that I wanted my wife to see if she liked the car. They gladly let me take the car away overnight for her evaluation.

Excellent!

by slate2 on 08/21/2008

I have owned 4 Infiniti's over the last 10 years. I wouldn't own anything else, nor would I shop anywhere else based on my experience with Jim Coleman Infiniti. I recently moved to the area when my prized 2006 G35x was totalled. Needless to say I was devastated. Here I am new to the area, and in need of a car. I did not have the time to shop, so I requested a quote. Amity was the first to contact me with exactly the car that I dreamed about, a 2008 M35x with Advanced Technology ( a must have ). Her knowledge of the vehicle and the process made my decision effortless. I didn't even want to compare other dealers (but they did call with other offers). When I arrived the car was ready to go, and the paperwork took less than an hour thanks to Aeli! I highly recommend Jim Coleman Infiniti for your next Infiniti!

Badly run business

by cmul on 08/19/2008

I had a very similar experience as the previous reviewer, on the same weekend it looks like no less, from Jim Coleman. I had an email exchange with the internet salesman, and we agreed on a price after trade via email. It seemed too easy and I had my doubts, so I re-confirmed every detail about the deal in an email. The salesman said they had two vehicles (QX56) in the color that I wanted. Well, I drive to the dealership (not the closest Infiniti dealer to me, so it is a drive) and the salesman seemed to have forgotten almost every detail we had discussed. When we finally got through the details again, he pulls out the key the the new vehicle and its the wrong color. I bring it to his attention and he acts like that was the color I wanted - needless to say, they don't have the color I want in stock. After a little while, he comes back from talking to his manager and now wants to jack the price up b/c they will have to do a dealership trade. I just say no and get ready to leave, but then they are willing to do the original deal but the other dealership is closed so I would have to return the next day to complete the deal. Like I said, its a drive, and the vibe I got was that this charade was going to continue and the deal was never going to work out the way we agreed, so I just told them to forget the entire deal. I had a bad feeling from the beginning that they were trying to sucker me somehow, and its pathetic that is what was happening - at an Infiniti dealership! There are other dealerships who at least don't stoop this low in the area - don't waste your time with Jim Coleman.

Horrible experience

by dcornell on 08/17/2008

Stay far away from this dealership ([violative content deleted]). There is quite a bit of background information. So I will try to be brief. I have done quite of bit of research on a M35x and visited several dealerships in my local area. I settled on a car and called Coleman Infiniti to see if they had a car in stock, which they did. I went into the dealership on Saturday and was provided a deal by the sales manager. The sales associate appeared new to the game so the sales manager took an active role. When I returned to Coleman on Sunday to pick up the car they informed me the deal wasn't valid and "they couldn't lose money". The arguement revolves around the special financing. I was very explicit when I gave them my parameters for the deal. Price for the car plus taxes, title and registration (no trade) and I would be using the special financing. THEY AGREED TO THE DEAL. I was satisified, however they couldn't do the paperwork and get the car ready so I could come back on Sunday. When I came back on Sunday to pick-up the car the finance manager informed me the deal could not be done. I explained to her we had a deal and I had a commitment from the sales manager. The general manager soon got involved however he was very condescending. The sales price would be an additional $2,800. He mentioned that his sales manager did not agree to the deal and very strongly implied that I was lying about my information. The sales associate did tell them that I did have agreement on the deal as I described, however the general manager didn't care. I have purchased a new car on average every 24 months since I was 25 yrs. old. I am fortunate and I have been purchasing higher-end sedans due to the amount of time commuting in the Washington DC metro area. My hope in writing this review is to save you some valuable time and frustration. I know the car sales game and have a respect for the dealership to make some money. Look at the reviews of the other dealerships and go to them for your sales and service. In summary, this is the worst dealership that I have every been involved with in my 20+ years of car buying. The sales associates were ill-prepared and inexperienced. The absolute arrogance of the management staff was staggaring. What really stinks is this dealership is the nearest to my work and would be very easy for maintenance and repair. Now I will buy a car at another dealership and most certainly give them my service.

A very good experience

by sue_mac on 03/01/2008

My experience with Jim Coleman Inifiniti was very positive. I conducted most of my research over the internet, which was a convenient time saver. I really liked the fact that you can review their inventory on-line--something I couldn't find with every dealer. The sales staff was friendly, helpful, and professional. I didn't feel pressured by anything other than the amazing deal they offered on a beautiful vehicle. I would recommend them to anyone looking to purchase an Infiniti.
