I have been very satisfied with the service I have received from this dealership. Jake D'Alessio from pre-owned is the reason why I decided to purchase a car from Chevy Chase Acura. From the beginning he was very courteous and helpful in finding me my dream car (MDX). I was hoping for 2014 MDX but Jake did not let me settle, he found me a better car that was very well maintained. I appreciated the fact that he was not pushy. Jake showed extreme professionalism and was willing to help me get my dream car. His stellar service did not stop at the purchase point, he also assisted in getting all the little details fixed on the car prior to giving it to me. Thank you Jake, I would recommend you to anyone. I would like to also recognize Macering Boiro, the finance manager who was key is closing this deal. He took the time to explain all of my financial options and assisted in making the best choice. You guys definitely made a friend through this sale and will retain me though service/maintenance since I intend to take it to your dealership!

I appreciated the no-hassle and simplified process of my expressing what I was looking for in a new car and receiving the information that I needed without the high-pressure tactics I've experienced in my previous car-buying experiences over the years. It was all very straight-forward and a rather pleasant experience. May I also say I enjoyed working with Richard Boyd in the Sales department -- he was very knowledgeable and thorough when I had questions in emails and phone calls and, importantly, during the test drive. Also - he came through with a 2017 RDX Advance in Fathom Blue Pearl! The other gentlemen who helped with my purchase, including in the other departments (e.g. Finance), were also a pleasure to work with.

Amazing Car Buying Experiencing

I had an amazing time picking up my new Honda Civic from Chevy Chase Acura. I would drive a thousand miles to purchase a car from a team like this. No need to come in with a stern attitude...buying a car here is like grocery shopping. You can have whatever you like. Stay gracious in the process and you'll be in your new car within in hours. Thankful for such an amazing team at Chevy Chase Acura.

Because of good prior experience with service, I purchased a new Acura here. The salesman was solid. But the financial people and management of sales leave rather a lot to be desired. I find that I am alarmed by the seeming lack of respect for customers ... as well as surprised.

I purchased a MDX from Don Watkins at Chevy Chase Acura and I would recommend dealing with him. Don was knowledgeable, hustled to get us out the door once the deal was made, and was excellent in the follow up process. The person we dealt with in the finance department was Aida, and she made that experience the smoothest I have experienced. My reason for 4 stars is that the car was unacceptably dirty on the inside and had a few minor scratches on the outside which shouldn't be the case for a new car.

Was in a "crisis" situation--wonderful 10-year old Acura TSX was totaled by a hit-and-run driver. Had to get a replacement/new car in a hurry. Luckily, I'd been researching the issue and TLX was as close as I could get to as good as car as I'd had. My salesperson at Chevy Chase Acura, Don Watkins, was as considerate and helpful as could be. So was his sales manager Ralph Kolius, who offered a deal that beat his competitors by $1000. Would highly recommend.

It's unfortunate that someone had a negative experience about 1 week before I made my purchase. I was prepared for the various dealer tricks, but I went in (twice) and stuck to my guns re: how much I was willing to pay for a 2014 AWD MDX. Fortunately, I had done extensive research on determining a fair price for the vehicle ($4K below MSRP, but I probably could've squeezed another $1K if I tried harder). The process in the finance room was the smoothest I've ever experienced. The finance manager slashed an already great rate I had received from my bank. After adding a couple of car-care packages to the sale, I ended up walking away paying only $13/mo. then I had planned on. There were a few times where I knew I was being misled (such as the availability of my choice color and signing a document that resulted in a credit inquiry against my wishes), but those are typical dealer antics that didn't cost me more money.

The manager of this dealership Kavey quoted me a price. When I went to the dealership a few days later to test drive and buy the car I was disappointed. I was quoted a price i requested in writing along with the vehicle information. I told the sales representative that I spoke to Kavey and I have a written quote to purchase the 2014 AWD MDX. He went to find the manager Kavey that now stated he was confused. He thought I would settle for the Fwd 2014 mdx instead. I recommend that anyone wanting to purchase a vehicle Stay away from CHEVY CHASE ACURA. They are dishonest. I want to know if these behaviors can be reported to the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU? I was so upset I was planning to contact the media. I complained to Acura headquarters and haven't heard anything yet.

The renovations are top notch! This is my 4th, count it 4th Acura!!!! 3 from here. The salespeople,sales manager and overall environment is top notch. You feel like luxury with the upgrades in the show room and service center. Congrats CCAcura! Well Done!

If there is negative 5 star this car dealer deserves it. I sent an inquiry about an Advertised price they have on eBay regarding one of their vehicle. I receive a call from Diane the next day responding to my inquiry. During the call, she made sure that the vehicle is for-sale at the Advertised price. I even gave her the VIN# and Stock#. My wife and I proceeded to visit the dealership an hour later, she said that wasnt the price. She proceeded to ask me if im interested in the purchasing the vehicle or interested for advertised price. What kind of question is that? She said that the listing on eBay was for bidding only. I told her that wasnt the case because there is no place to bid and that the listing clearly shows the Advertised price. I would have been fine if she had done some leg work and re-verify the listing before us driving to the dealership. Not only she wasted our time we felt like we were rushed during the process and that she did not even try to sell the vehicle. We were misjudged from the beginning. To add to this, she did not even apologize and she saids "have a good day" when we were clearly upset about situation. No manager or supervisor even tried to talk to us.

Classic Bait and Switch - Very Shady

I had a horrible experience with CC Acura trying to purchase a Hybrid ILX. After a very detailed and length email exchange, I was told they had the car at the price I wanted. I drove 45 minutes there to test drive it , only to be told the minute I walked in "Oh, well that car isn't actually available but I want to talk to you about..." This was not a misunderstanding...the email exchange could not have been more clear. Very unprofessional.

My Best Buying Experience

I bought my 08 MDX on October 25, 2008. I started by asking for quotes from dealers in Washington DC area a week before. Mitch Levine from Chevy Chase Acura was the first one to respond with the lowest quote. We exchange email a couple of times. He was very quick in responding to emails. Although others dealers in the area promised to beat their price, I decided to go to Cheve Chase Acura. Mitch was helping another couple but he arranged Ali Gokce to help us so we did not have to wait. Both gentlemen are very nice, professional, and helpful. I highly recommend Mitch and Ali. They do a great job of pricing, and the experience is a pleasure.
