Couldn’t be happier with our purchase! Zack at Bill Dodge BMW of Westbrook is the best sales rep we have ever had, and Matt in finance made the paperwork a breeze. The whole team at the dealership took care of all the little details to perfection. Highly recommend.

A great car buying experience

It was a pleasure working with Zachary in sales and Matt in finance. They both were very personable and down to earth. They did not put any pressure on us during our purchase of a new BMW X1 that replaced a 2014 BMW X1 that we had purchased at this same dealership. We would also like to give a shoutout to Tracy in the service department who is just as personable and down to earth as Zach and Matt. Keep doing what you are doing BMW of Westbrook.

I had a very easy service experience with my BMW X5 working with Garth. He was extremely polite and greeted me with a smile. The service took a few hours but they were able to provide me with a vehicle. I live 30 mins away so that was nice. Thank you again

Easy to do business

I worked with Brandon to buy a pre-owned BMW and he made it easy. He responded to my questions, sent me pictures and helped make the process easy as most of the deal was done remote. Finance went quickly as well. I would shop there again in the future!

First-time BMW Buyer - Great Experience

I heartily recommend buying your next BMW through the staff at BMW of Westbrook. My sales advisor Brittney H was an absolute delight to work with! She does not use any of the “usual” salesperson tactics to pressure you into making decisions, which was a huge relief. At every stage, she was knowledgeable and super helpful with updates on my car as it went from the order bank, to production, transit, and finally, landing at the dealer for me to take delivery. I can’t say enough good things about her! As long as she’s there, I will always going to her for my car-buying needs. I also want to shout out Matt in financing - he was also very easy going and kind, but most importantly, he didn’t try to slam all so-called “add ons” that some will push and/or tie in with the financing of the car. The price of poker is higher with the brand, so to not have that pressure from financing as well as the sales team is unique in my experience (this is my third time buying a new car, all different dealerships).

10 Days & $3k = BMW Idler Pulley

Pluses: they fit me in (10 days onsite), after part didn’t show on Day 9 - they offered to have someone drive 2 hrs down and 2 hrs back to get part while they coordinated the install so service could be done by 5 - I told them thanks but it’s more important that it’s done right - I gave them another day. They finished on Day 10 and took $200 off. Minuses: no calls to me on updates or progress - only after I called them - super frustrating, outside of car was dirty upon delivery, air in tires not calibrated - these negated the ‘rush’ gesture, thus only 2 stars; $2k for idler pulley repair & oil change ($1k for National car rental). Time to think about a diff dealer and suv.

Quality, but at what price?

Lack of knowledge false prices

Coming from someone that works in the car business, this was by far the worst experience I have ever received. Customer service was terrible, service advisor was giving false information and had hardly any knowledge as to what was going on with my car. While having my power steering rack replaced they apparently could not get the tie rods un threaded from the old rack to place on the new rack. I was told the tie rods were rusted, seized, and that they tried heating them and using greaser to break them free and with not being able to get them off, I was then told they would need to be replaced and it would cost me $630 to replace and install bc it was considered a wearable part and was not covered under warranty. Now being a car person and a former welder I know what happens to metal once it’s heated… I went in to look at my tie rods and there was zero sign of heat being applied, lubrication or torquing to break them free. I needed my steering rack replaced, my tie rods were completely fine. That is simply the mechanics problem for not being able to get them off. My rack would’ve cost 4,000 to replace but with my warranty it should’ve been 200 with the over night shipping and deductible. Now I question what would’ve happened if I actually needed my tie rods replaced and they were not able to get them off my rack. Would they have charged me to replace the whole rack as well and have the technician put all those hours in what would’ve been a 2 hour job to a 1-2 day job. The service advisor gave me false status on my car and messed up the quotes multiple times. Somehow a guaranteed warranty covered job turned into a $578 job with parts that did not need to be replaced. Very unimpressed with the lack of effort, knowledge and professionalism during this experience.

Very good, almost great

The inspection was amazing. BMW found lost of issue with my Range Rover. Plus you where able to fix my gas meter; many other shop were unable to do so. My issue is the time it took. I believe my vehicle is as there for 3-4 weeks for diagnostic and meter fix. In addition I feel I had to reach out a few times for updates. The woman that handled my account was lovely. Job well done.

Tracked progress in transportation of selected vehicle from Germany. When vehicle arrived facilitated selection of dealer options and completion of purchase documentation.
