Quirk Subaru of Bangor

My girlfriend and I have had 3 experiences with Quirk Auto of Bangor. All three have been poor experiences. I had just graduated from college and was looking for a new car. I was really interested in one of their sports cars and as I was looking at it, one of the salesman came up to me and asked to help. I told him my interest and he asked about my trade in. As soon as he saw my trade in, his response was "you can't afford this car". Little did he know with my new job I just started I was making at least 3 times what he was making. I drove down the street and purchased a brand new vehicle from a rival. The second was my GF was a the lot looking at cars with a friend. Salesman came out to help, she expressed interest in a new vehicle. He went to get her some literature on the car, but when he returned he had taken off his wedding band and proceeded to ask her out to dinner to discuss the car. She refused and asked the sales manager for a different salesman. The second one seemed to be fine and the day she was to sign for the new car the price was almost $3,000 more than agreed on. He refused to correct this. She ended up traveling 2 hours south to Portland to buy the same vehicle from a different dealer for the price they had originally agreed on. The third dealing with them was just today. My GF went back to them years later (they had to have changed, right?). When confronted with the Kelly Blue Book values of the new vehicle being $4k more and the trade in being $2k less they claimed that that was not accurate. Don't they know that people do their research now? Stay away.
