Great Experience - Twice (17 Murano Purchase & 18 Rogue Lease)

Two great sales experiences in 2 years with Ivan Villemarette at Price Leblanc Nissan in Gonzales. Both shopping experiences with Price Leblanc Nissan were low pressure and professional. I purchased a 17 Nissan Murano Platinum back in Dec. 17 and in April went back to lease a 18 Nissan Rogue SV for my son. In both cases I worked with 4 Nissan dealers over 2 weeks (including directly with several of the dealerships GMs) trying to locate a very specific combo of features and color. The Price Leblanc Nissan experience was by far the best both times! Just can't say enough about the patience and professionalism shown to me by Ivan Villemarette and everyone at Price LeBlanc Nissan. Never pushy and kept their word throughout the process. For both the purchase and then later the lease, Ivan was the only salesman or GM that provided the quotes in the format I was seeking so that I could compare apples to apples for Out The Door prices across multiple scenarios and cars . He was super patient and always available for questions and did not push us to take what he had in inventory vs. what we actually wanted (fewer packages even though hard to find that in inventory). Bottom line, this is the 2nd time in two years that we drove 90 miles to get our Nissan at Price LeBlanc Nissan in Gonzales vs. the 3 other closer Nissan dealers we quite literally passed on the way because the research/test drive, quote and purchase/lease experiences were so MUCH better at Price LeBlanc Nissan! The research/test drive phases for both the purchase and the lease each lasted a few weeks so i had lots of interactions with lots of dealers across multiple brands... many of them not good. Price Leblanc Nissan was the only one that consistently never played games, consistently answered questions quickly and very honestly while balancing the right amount of follow-up without being pushy.

Great Buying Experience on Our New Frontier

We purchased our 2017 Frontier from LeBlanc Nissan in Gonzales, Louisiana. It was one of the best (if not the best) new car buying experience we ever had. Many Thanks to Ricky Patterson, our salesman, Brent Mott, Sales Manager and Vince Brooks, Business Manager. Great crew at this dealership.

Rip-off!

Total fraud! Sold me a Frontier with expressly identified features in its ad listing. When went to pick it up, it lacked a substantial number of the advertised features. Salesman told me "not to rely on" description in Price LeBlanc's Nissan ads!! What a disgrace to the proud Nissan, USA name that it allows such dealer tactics! Bad, bad, bad!!!

"Trade in RIP-OFF"

I am a long time customer of Price Leblanc Nissan. Purchased three Nissan's from this dealership and have all my service work performed here also. The service department is EXCELLENT!. I will continue to use their service department unless they start treating me like they did in the sales department. I am (was) wanting to trade in my wife's 2009 SV Maxima with 86,000 miles but in immaculate condition for a new AWD Rogue. I am a type of person that does his research before spending this amount of money, of course. The Black Book value of my car is $7000 - $9,500. Being that I love the service the department , I was willing to accept $7000. BUT...I was pretty much insulted when they made me an offer of $4,500. Now, I ask you...is that any way to treat a loyal and long time customer or any customer as a matter of fact?? This past weekend I purchased a competitor's small SUV for my wife instead. I excepted the dealership's offer of $9,700 for my 2009 Maxima.

Awkward

today, I decided to visit this dealership after reading all of the great reviews! I was totally disappointed and was the most awkward experience ever!!! I was in the sales office for 15 mins at the most! She brought me some numbers and couldn't even tell me what one particular number was referring to, but she could get a finance person to explain it to me!! WOW!!! Also, didn't try to work with me, or even help me out! WOW!! They didn't even come close to a fair trade in price as listed in KBB!! I've never felt so worthless as when I left that dealership! Never will I ever step foot in there again!!!!

Terrible sales guy

I went to buy my wife an armada she found one and I negotiated the deal. The salesman who's name I won't mention told me it had navigation but all it had was the nav screen. He told me it had Bluetooth which it does but only for phone feature not her music. When I confronted him about it he told me we both looked at the car and I should have caught it. We'll excuse me for believing someone with almost 15 years experience. All he did was lie and cover his own butt infront of the manager. On top of all that I had sent my wife to sign papers and the sales guy and finance dept. screwed up the paperwork so they thought it was ok to charge my wife extra money to cover there screw up. So I had to go back and deal with that issue they said they would send a refund check ASAP. It took 2 months and several phone calls before I got it back and we had to go pick it up. This was the worst experience I have ever had that salesman should have lost his job over the issues he caused. And last was my wife ran by there to have some maintenance done and she told them about a little knocking under the hood. He told her he didn't hear it and she should go ahead and start using synthetic oil as a preventative measure on her car with less than 15 thousand miles. It was an awful experience and I would not take a car from there if they gave it to me.

Respect to finding the exact Pathfinder we wanted, within my budget

Conrad O. will sell me another vehicle, I am positive of that. He was aware of the Pathfinder we wanted (color, bells and whistles, etc.), and notified me as soon as he took one on trade. He knew my budget, and didn't waste my time or his by trying to "up sell" me. Working with Conrad (sales) and Trent (sales manager) at LeBlanc Nissan was a pleasure. The two are very friendly and both went the extra mile to make certain we were pleased throughout the entire buying process. We love our Certified Pathfinder from LeBlanc Nissan. LeBlanc's quality control, and the stringent Nissan Certified Pre-Owned has given us a lot of confidence in our purchase. The fact that we bought from the dealer with the most awards and recognitions from Nissan Motor Corp. was absolutely intentional. Dealerships don't accidentally get to the top of the chart of accolades, they earn their way to the top. In the short time since we have owned the vehicle, we have already referred friends to Conrad. I absolutely recommend his fair business practices to friends and family.

I recently bought my new Altima from here and I LOVE IT! Rodney R. was my salesman and he was so helpful! He made sure to not only get me in something I wanted, but something I could afford. He didn't make me feel pressured about buying from him, he only showed concern about me being satisfied with whatever I might choose to purchase. Quick and easy New Truck Purchase

He had 3 different Frontier models lined up for me when I arrived and went through the pros and cons. He helped me choose the truck and best suited me. Watch out for the sales managers

After getting a quote on our trade in, we met with the sales manager who bragged about his experience in the car business and how we were essentially crazy to not want to sell the trade at the low ball auction prize. As we were leaving, he took our picture from the window as a trophy of sending another unhappy customer on their way. The potential buyers in this area are only so many and treating this way must really be a huge value for the dollars spent on advertising. Will not be visiting this dealership even with free maintenance for three years!

LeBlanc Nissan - "Check's in the mail"...

Purchased new 2011 Juke SV on 9/13/11. Great salesman, Brent Mott. However, LeBlanc Finance Mgr, Jon Hutchinson, said the dealership could not issue me a check for the $2200 difference due me resulting from trade allowance. Used the line - "...check in the mail today from Baton Rouge (central) office!!" Following my 9/20 inquiry he responded, "check's in the mail today." Filed complaint with Nissan 9/23 - received call from General Mgr, only after complaint filed, wanting to know what the problem was and how to resolve it... I'm thinking an overnight pkg with a cashier's check at this point would stop me from filing a complaint with State's AG for fraudulent business practice.
