onThis is the sixth vehicle I have purchased from Courtesy, not counting other family members and those I have referred. The entire staff has lived up to the name "Courtesy," so let me take a moment to mention a few of the folks who have gone the extra mile. I have been used both Justin and Mike in the sales department and been pleased. Stephen was my sales person until he moved into the business office, and he has continued to do a stellar job in this capacity. In service, Brandy has gone out of her way to make my service / repair visits run as smoothly as possible. Having driven my new 2024 Trax for three days, I am pleased with the quality at this price point. I believe it is a good fit as my daily driver.

onThe service people at Courtesy were outstanding. My rep was Brandi and she was a total professional, as was everyone else there. They provided my with a 2016 loaner while they worked on my truck and always asked if there was anything else they could do for me. I can honestly say that my experience was totally stress free.

onMy service writer Brandy Lopez provided me with the best customer service I have ever received from any dealership, or anywhere for that matter. She was able to answer all questions, kept me informed of the progress of my service and for my questions on purchasing a new vehicle, promptly directed me to a sales associate. I like it when someone doesn't try to be competent in sales when there expertise is in service. That prevents any of my time wasted. I'm not saying she new nothing about sales but probably new I would be better served by someone who specializes in this. I am not financial ready to purchase another vehicle at this time, but because of her I will definitely return to Courtesy of Broussard to purchase my next vehicle. Just an fyi I have only been knowing Miss Lopez since the last few times I have brought my truck in for service.

onThe salesman was very knowledgeable about the things I acquired ! He was very pleasant ..straight to the point and put everything out up front!! He was great!! I've purchased cars in the past and had to do a lot of the footwork as to sales and incentives on my own!! I ask a few questions and Reagan gave a complete run down and matched me with the one that was best for me...He was awesome! I really didn't have to work hard for this deal at all! He did all of the work!! Great experience!

She waited and kept in contact with us for a month while we made the final decision to but with courtesy. onThe short of the matter: I was offered $1000 off and a towing package to stop me from walking out the door. I received $500 off and a towing package. Give Chuck Voorhies a try at Service Chevrolet in Lafayette, if that location is good for you. Note: Courtesy Chevrolet is the closest Chevy dealer to my home: ~7 minutes. It was important to me to make a purchase close to home; I hate wasting time in traffic. I assume(d) the perks (oil change, car wash, etc.) a dealer gives you are only honored by the dealer you purchase from. Any issues that come up with a new vehicle I prefer the seller to handle it, thus I was highly motivated to seal a deal right near my home. Additionally, I wanted to finalize a deal soon because my truck is used for business. Details: Courtesy Chevrolet had a sale on 2015 Silverado Custom for $24988-$25488. (The custom is a LS model with few upgrades in trim and wheels. It has everything I need except for tow package.) My wife and I go in and we tell Charlie Porter we would like to look at the trucks for the above price. He shows us a line of 7 to 9 trucks and we choose one to test drive. After he gets the key, I offer him my key so a trade-in value can be worked up on my 2002 Silverado while we test drive. He tells me that can be done later. Thus, our time ends up getting wasted later waiting for that. We sit down to look at the price and its $25998. I ask Charlie why the higher price and he says one of the incentives is from a financing company that doesn't finance company vehicles and so I don't qualify for that incentive. As a business owner of 17 years, having to pay more because of being a business is nothing new to me and his reason sounds legitimate so I don't question it any further. The price is still good to me but I don't apply it to memory. The next thing I notice is only $1000 for my trade-in, it is a 2002 Silverado V8 1500 extended cab less than 136000 miles very beat up but also running very well (the 2002 down shifts smoother than the 2015 both automatic transmission). I'm disgusted with just $1000 but I'll go with it if they install a tow package on the new truck. I find $1000 and tow package (MSRP $770) disgustingly low for my 02 but I want to get the deal done. Charlie walks out and comes back with Justin Maddox. Justin tells me the best they can do is split the tow package cost in half with me. I take it like a second slap in the face and tell him I'd like to make a phone call. I call Service Chevrolet and ask for Chuck Voorhies. I ask him if they have any 2015 Silverado Customs. He wasn't familiar with the Silverado Custom but said they had many different trucks. They close in one hour and it could easily take 45 minutes to get there but I tell him I'm coming. Seeing that we're leaving Justin tells us he will give us the tow package. (At this point I don't care what he has to offer, I told Mr. Voorhies I'm coming and that is what I'm going to do.) I say I already told them I'm coming and Justin then says he'll take $1000 off and says $25498. My wife expresses her concern that Service Chevrolet may not have the truck we want and wants me to take the deal and so I say OK. We sit back down in the office and sign off on the new quote (old quote is no where to be seen). Charlie and Justin leave and I start looking at the break down of the new quote. $25498 is there on 5th line of 15 lines of values but the last line 'balance remaining' doesn't seem to be anywhere near $1000 less than previous quote. I asked my wife didn't he say $1000 off? She said yes and then pulled up a picture she had taken of the old quote. At this point it's clear I signed off on a quote that's not a $1000 less. I choose to keep my mouth shut, finish the deal, and get away from these people. Was told truck would be ready the next morning with tow package. Was notified after 2:00pm it was ready. My phone conversations are automatically recorded! (Sept 18 11:36am) 2 days after the sale Charlie calls me and ask how's the truck. I say, I was very irritated with the whole charade that went on over there, the guy (Justin) told me, to keep from walking out the door, he was going to knock the price down a thousand. I know I didn't walk out of there with a thousand off. Charlie replies, I thought he did. He apologizes twice says he going to look at the paperwork and let me know. (Sept 18 12:19pm) Justin calls me says he said $500 off and never said $1000. I'm not going to argue with him so I say well I don't have video recording of it. He says we have video recording with audio and even says he would be happy to let me look at it. I never heard from him again. In 2002 the 1st price Chuck Voorhies at Service Cheverolet quoted me for a new 2002 Silverado was better than the numbers I pulled up in my research. Not having to haggle and a straight forward buying experience had me remembering his name for 13 years! Give him a try. More details could be said, but this is way to much a waste of my time.
