New Car Smell

by hemipower390 on 05/20/2016

Brought the wife to look at Kia Sorento's and she wasn't quite in love so our salesman suggested we look at the All-Star inventory online, so we did. Found a really nice looking Volvo XC90 2010 model for a great price. Our salesman, Legregory Scruggs, went to All-Star's Volvo dealership and brought the vehicle to their Siegen location. Talk about convenient. Salesman was a pleasure to deal with and I was in and out in under 2 hours. Couldn't ask for better.

Best Dealership Ever!!!!

by Blessed36 on 01/09/2015

This dealership is the best ever from the friendliest staff to the best car prices.Recently I went to Kia of Baton Rouge (All Star Kia)for the second time to purchase my second vehicle from them after paying off my first. I was so happy to see that their Great service never changed. They worked hard to find me the car I wanted at the price that was right for me. My sales person (Erania) was spectacular and made me feel like family. Second great experience do not think I will ever buy from anywhere else.

Great Experience!

by jayebird7 on 01/05/2015

Our experience with All Star KIA has been a most pleasant and rewarding one, awesome needless to say. I went to the dealership to look for a used KIA and the friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable sales girl, Kristin J. showed me a new one when they didn't have any used ones like I was looking for. Because of the respectful education she gave me, I bought my first new vehicle ever at the age of 56. My husband loved it so much, we went back to the dealership and bought a second one with an upgraded package. Every time we were in the dealership, everyone we had to deal with were very cordial and helpful from the sales girl (Kristin J.), to the General Sales Manager and then to the Financial Manager. Everyone was up front, honest and truthful, with no hidden agendas. Great, Great experience!

2013 Sorento doesn't start 3 times in less than a yr. Not BR Kia's problem

by rmp711 on 07/03/2013

I purchased a 2013 Sorento in July 2012. It has been in the shop at least 3 times in less than a year because it wouldn't start. My daughter, who is a home health nurse, uses this car for work. This has caused untold problems and cost for her. We went back to the dealership after this last episode and we asked for a new car. We were willing to pay an additional year - even thou, to date, it seems we have already taken a $16,000.00 loss, but we need a dependable car. The only thing we needed to do was keep our notes the same. All we wanted was the same car - just one that wasn't a "lemon". The salesman we worked with seemed to try and told us he understood our frustration but after almost 2 1/2 hours of wasting our time we got nowhere. They did offer to trade ours in but the new note would be $110 more per month. Most frustrating of all was the "Manager" sat behind his glass door and wouldn't even come and talked to us. He had the salesman do his Dirty Work. What kind of manager does that ???? They did state that they would be taking a loss on my car and he would have to explain to his manager why. As if that was my problem. Really ???? This car has been serviced on a regular basis - at this dealership. If this is how loyal customers are treated - I will shop elsewhere and I recommend you do the same !!!

Excellent service from an amazing staff!

by shaetalamantes on 12/07/2012

When I went in to the All Star Kia dealership on Siegen Lane, I wasn’t sure if I would be trading in my 2011 Soul or if I would be leaving in it. I really hadn’t done a whole lot of research on other cars, but I knew I needed something with more room since we are expecting our first baby any day now. One thing that drew me in to All Star Kia was being so close to winning a Sorento from them! I was chosen in the top 20 finalists for the giveaway and attended the drawing for it on December 3rd. Although I didn’t win the Sorento, I left the event and could not stop thinking about it. My husband and I had a great time, all the Kia employees we met were so kind and hospitable, and we were so amazed that they would give away a free car! After only one night of discussing it, we decided we needed something bigger. Since we were so impressed with the All Star Kia staff, why not go and see what they could do for us. Buying a car can be a very stressful experience, considering all of the deciding factors in getting approved along with the size of the purchase. Is my credit score high enough? Which car is best for me? What features should I get? Can I get a good enough trade-in value? Will the salesperson work with me? I am so pleased to say that was not at all the case when I purchased my Kia! From the time I sat down to discuss options with Nazha to the time I pulled off the lot in my 2013 Sorento, I felt completely relaxed and comfortable. Nazha was so knowledgeable about both financing aspects and vehicle specifics that she really made my decision easy. I felt like I was getting the best deal possible on the best vehicle for my newly growing family. There was not one question I had that Nazha couldn’t answer. I was also impressed that they brought in a second finance consultant to speed up my purchase and keep me from waiting. The following day I went back to sign a few papers and the manager, Kal Savoie, personally came out and helped me since a lot of his employees were busy. Everyone was wonderful, and I could not be happier with the service I received. And from the spacious cargo area to the backup camera safety feature, I am so in love with my new Sorento!

Make sure you know what you're getting before you sign the papers

by 2011kiaforte on 05/31/2011

After my transmission in my previous car finally died I went into the Kia dealership to look at a car. They came to pick me up since I didn't have a mode of transportation. Once I got to the dealership I told them that I wanted to look at the 2011 Forte's and that the one I get I would like to be black. They had two black Kia Fortes in stock, the LX and the EX. I test drove the EX and I decided that this was the car I wanted to get. After signing all the paper work and receiving the keys to my new car I walked out and noticed that they gave me a set of keys that didn't have a remote keyless entry, which would be standard on the EX, so I unlocked the car and got in. I noticed that there weren't and power windows, power locks, or cruise control, which would all be standard on the EX that I thought I had signed the papers on. I walked back inside and confronted the sales person politely and asked him why he had given me the keys to a LX instead of the EX I had said I wanted in the first place. He told me that the figures that I had agreed upon were for the LX, but never mentioned that they were selling me the LX not the EX. So I asked him if they could fix that because they gave me the wrong car. He told me that the only thing they could do is trade it in, and I would loose $3,000. I hadn't even driven off the lot, or even started the car after I signed the papers. I was pissed to say the least, but in Louisiana they do not require dealerships to provide customers a 30 money back warranty like some other states. So I was out $3,000 plus the difference in price of the Ex model that I was promised in the first place. Plus they didn't give me anywhere close to what I should have been given for the trade in price of my LX.

Misleading information

by gotigers on 09/15/2009

They will tell you one thing over the telephone just to get you into the dealership and then have a completely different story once your actually there. Over the telephone I specifically asked what would the interest rate be and how much of a down payment, because there was no reason to waste my time and theirs.. The salesperson assured me there would be no down payment and the interest rate would be comparative to other dealers. Once I am there and test driving the car the salesperson is giving all of the bells and whistles about the car and the service, but nothing about the "deal". It wasn't until after we went inside and sat down, that he brought up the fact that I would need a huge down payment and the interest rate was outrageous. I quickly got back into my 2003 and drove home.
