Wish our experience was wonderful like all the other reviews.

Purchased a car and went thru dealership for loan. Not happy with terms or interest rate but was told if another offer came in (we were there late at night so offers would come in next day), they would let us know and papers/loan could be resigned. My husband called Finance Dept next day and was told no other offers came in. 2 weeks later, we received mail showing 2-3 other offers were received by Paul Miller with better terms and rates. Now dealing with hassle to refinance. Calls to finance dept are not being returned. Also, tried to contact service dept 4 or 5 times to set up service appt but no one answers.

Outstanding Experience

by DanCarney on 06/27/2017

I live in Northern Kentucky (Florence area), but choose to drive to Lexington to purchase from this dealership due to their selection, pricing, and extremely pleasant salesmanship. I was only interested in a used Ford F-150 truck and their selection of 1-3 year old cars in this category is unreal. I found two vehicles that I absolutely loved and found the pricing to be very reasonable. My sales consultant was Dave Nowlin and he was great to work with. Very knowledgeable, friendly, and low pressure. I ended up purchasing my truck for under the NADA trade-in price and the car was spotlessly detailed. I also received a 6-month bumper-to-bumper warranty, which is huge in my opinion, as if something is going to be a problem with a used car it would likely show up in that time frame. I can't recommend this dealership or Dave enough. Go see him when you go there - he's great to work with. It is worth the drive there and I am certain I will consider them again next time anyone in my family needs a new car. If I had one very small bone to pick, it would be their $599 processing/document fee. Yes, all dealers charge this fee, but this amount is a bit above the norm ($300-450) in my experience. Would it have stopped me from purchasing the car had I known upfront? Absolutely not. So I give them 4 7/8 stars overall, deducting an 1/8 of a star for the slightly higher than average doc fee. Great dealership!!

[non-permissible content removed]. Will sell a car from under you!

by BlueKat716 on 08/23/2016

Please share with anyone thinking about a car. Sadly after talking with friends I am not the only one with this experience. DO NOT SHOP WITH THESE PEOPLE! They are [non-permissible content removed] and will sell a car out from under you. I was SO close to buying a car, we had an agreement that was signed under one condition, that I take this on an extended test drive so I could have my trusted mechanic look it over. They agreed, and then reneged the offer (along with others) and then basically kicked us out because it was their closing time. They REFUSED to give us a copy of the agreement with my signature on it. Their offer? Instead of letting us take the car, they agreed to take the car to our mechanic in the morning for us. This way they could get it back on the lot quickly if we didn’t agree to buy. Fine. Call to check on the car next morning. The car has not been taken to our mechanic, the salesman had not been in to work AT ALL that day, and they sold the car out from under us. Their response, “You should have just bought the car last night.“ DO NOT SHOP HERE!

Lose of Trust

by armyman2 on 08/01/2012

I got a truck from the dealer and before the papers where signed I told them that there was somethings wrong with the truck. The grill, the peace holding the head lights in, the front end was like bounceing a ball down the road, the shaft for the steering, the tire pressure light stayed on, driver door, and the tail gate. I said it needed to be fixed because I had 2 childern that I took to places with me. They stated that it would be fixed or they would make it right. After we signed the paper work I keep calling and they said the parts was on the way. After 13 days I took the truck down to them and left it. I keep calling to check and they said the parts would be there on this day. After a month they called and said the truck was done. They said they fixed the grill and light piece and took the tires and balanceed them and rotated when i talked to them. When I got there and checked it out the truck was not done and I told them it was not done. We took the truck back to service but they where closeing at that time. On the way home my wife niticed that the spare tire about feel off the truck so I pulled over and had to tightened it up. I called and told them about it and they said they would call. this was on thursday they did not call so I called tuesday the next week and they said I had to get with service. After about a week of not getting any respnse I went back to the dealer and tryed to talk with MR. Miller they sent me to see the service manager. We talked and he showed me that the used car lot had not put in for any of the other work to be done. I took the service tech for a ride and when i asked what he done he said that he balanced the tires and drove it down new circle road and not on the interstate. After we got back they called me in the conferance room and we talked about it and after we got done they said they could do a few things and they where they could take the truck back and refund my money, fix the truck, or replace it with anouther one. I asked about the payments that i had made and they said they would pay that back to. I said I needed a truck so they was going to fix it. They said to get the parts and they would call. After a week I took the truck back after I did not get a call from them and droped it back off. After 2 weeks I drove back down there and it was not done. and I talked to the service department and they said they had some things to do. After a week they called and said it was done and ready to go. After i got down there I looked at the truck and noticed that the shaft had come from a junk yard and it had come off an older ranger, the tires look like the ones that was on it when i droped it off. I took it for a test drive with the sales person and when we got around 30 mph it started to shake when we got on the interstate it did the same. When we turned around and started to pick up speed to inter the interstate it had a vilonte shake in the front end worst then before. After we got back they said to take it home and call the sales manger but told them the truck was not good and i would not take it. I told them that after the time i spent comeing here not haveing the truck for a total of 2 months out of the 3 I had it the truck was a bigger head ache then it was worth. They took me to the sales manger and after we talked they had a few other trucks on the lot and they said they would give me a deal on one of the other trucks. After I looked at one that was a year older and double the miles we took it for a drive. When we got back they started the paper work and they come back and said it would be 400-450 a month. Yes the other truck was a extended cab with a bed cover. I told them i had to stay in the price range i was paying now because i am on a fixed income. I seen the all most same truck as they showed me but it was a 04 and a 4x4 it had 30,000 more miles it was only 8500. So Went up the the main building and I asked for my money back like they said in the meeting they did not want to do that. So I left the truck there and left then I took the title back to them because i can not take a chanse haveing my kids ride in a truck that i have to worry about it brakeing down on the side of the road or not being able to make my doctor appointments at the VA. So after all that i had the truck one month out of the 3 months. Paying for a truck i could not drive along with insurance and wear and tear gas time and the aggervation i still do not have a truck to do anything with my kids. So if you go there be carefull and not lent them do you like they have done me. They say they are committed to our customers and customer satifaction is garented. In my opinion what they say is not what they mean because i was a customer and i am not satified. So now I am out over 3000 dollars in payments and down payments along with my time, gas, wear and tear on our other car, and time spent doing things with my kids. Trust and a mans word is all anyone has and thiers is not good with me any more. I would take a lie detactor test put my hand on a stake of bibles to show this is true if anyone is not sure about this statment

Paul Miller Ford Mazda Used Truck in Lexington KY

by myriderandy on 04/23/2009

I have bought two Ford F150's from Paul Miller and one Ford Fusion. In lexington Kentucky Paul Miller has worked with me on every deal. I know that some dealerships don't work with you on payment or even value a customer. Paul Miller Ford was great to work with. I was on the website and they did a great job with my order. Dealerships around here have not helped me nut Paul Miller gave me a good payment and I did not feel the rush that I get at other stores. I love my ford F150 and I will buy my next truck from them.

Nothing but [violative content deleted]

by cd470 on 12/20/2007

Negotiated a price for a used Honda Civic with the sales manager over the phone. When I came in later that day to write a check, but I was given some flaky story about the vehicle being 'sold.' I checked several days later and it was still listed on their website by another salesperson. The sales manager I spoke to has not returned any of my calls.
