onBuying a new car is never a fun experience but I have to say that this dealership is filled with a friendly engaging staff. The purchasing experience is easy and professional. Was a thrilled with spending money,not really,but at least I have peace of mind I made a reliable choice.

onAfter several days of researching different cars we decided that a Lexus would be worth investigating further because of the safety features, the appearance, and overall reliability that seem to be a benchmark of the brand. After an initial e-mail correspondence to the Lexus Store of Lexington, we received a prompt reply from one of the sales staff. The following day we visited the Lexus Store, met Blake Carlson, the salesman who had responded so promptly with us giving the exact information that had been requested. He proceeded to explain the different models, options, prices, etc. and we began to negotiate in earnest. Mr. Carlson was knowledgeable, gracious, willing to expend any time necessary for us to understand all aspects of the potential purchase. We came to a mutually agreeable decision, were assisted by a bevy of helpful staff, enjoyed the amenities of a beautifully appointed building and were soon on our way in a new Lexus. Thanks to all the helpful Lexus Store staff, but a larger amount of gratification for Blake Carlson and his personal investment of time and concern for us.

Buyer Beware

onOn July 22, 2009 I purchased a new Lexus IS250. I was told by the sales person that Lexus Financial would provide financing at 3.9% for 60 mos. Two days later, I discovered that Lexus would have provided financing at 0.9% for 36 mos or 2.9% for 60 mos. The matter was corrected once I brought it to their attention, however no explanation was given for why I was not quoted all financing options from the beginning. Obviously, the real reason was to boost the Lexus Store of Lexington's bottom line. I feel I was deceived and suggest anyone doing business with them be alert as to anything being told by the sales people there.

onThe dealer wanted to charge more for a used car than the advertised price and would not budge. I had no choice but to walk away from a car that I wanted.

onWhen I purchased the car they agreed (for the $500 dollars I paid) to transfer my Virginia tags to my new LS 350. Then they ring to tell me I will have to go to VA to have my tags transferred as they are unable to do from Lexington, BS Then I ring the dealer to inquire about someone installing my front license holder. Talked to five people explaining to each what I needed. Wound up doing it myself. Needed a half inch license plate bolt in order not to drill two more holes in the front bumper. They didn't have any. I rang to tell them about the car seeming to speed up when you take your foot off of the accelerator. It seems to be a common problem. Service assured me the problem was caused by a floor mat bunching up. I assured him there was no mat within 2 inches of the accelerator. He still insisted that was the problem. I am so disgusted with these people that I sold my car with 4,000 miles at a loss of almost $5,000. The man who purchased my car told me the problem was with the transmission and Lexus should have the solution in a few weeks.
