A little common curtesy goes a long way

I was contacted by Brogden service department on my weekend, for them to fill me I was do for an oil change. Regardless of the “we have been monitoring you” aspect of the call, they contact me. I made the appointment for the following Monday. I arrived early and truck was promptly taken to the service area. After waiting for one full hour, and no update from the service staff I finally had enough of the flirting and playfulness of the desk staff, to each other, to ask about my truck. I was told that the car ahead of me had some issues and mine hadn’t been started yet. And told I was at least an hour away. Here is my opinion, your staff contacted me, requesting my business, Iwaited patiently and did not get an update that an additional hour would be needed to complete an oil change. AN OIL CHANGE! So now I had reschedule and spend another after noon waiting for my car to be completed. Getting my business by making an appointment is not the same as keeping my business with poor customer care. Also this is not my first issue with your service department. But it is my second after only 3 encounters. Can your team pick it up a notch!!!

Very poor communication

No one explained the results of the repair I asked for, and led to the wrong expectation from my end. I asked to fix my chipped windshield, and was told it could be fixed without any elaboration. No one mentioned that the chip would still be there after repair, that it would merely seal it stop it from spreading. I wrongly expected the chip to not be there when I picked up my car. I wouldn't have if someone would have told me what to expect. Also when picking up my vehicle, I stood in the service area for several minutes before anyone spoke to me or even looked at me. And when I dropped off in the morning, my salesperson had yet to authorize the repair despite that I scheduled my appointment more than a week ago. This made me wait longer while I was already late for work. Overall, just really poor communication from the service department. I'd grade it a D, but overall I'd probably have given an F if there had been any charges.

2013 Yukon Denali

I purchased a used Yukon Denali from Brogden that had a windshield chip that they were to repair the following week. After driving the vehicle home that night my wife said there was a lot of glare from on coming headlights. The next day while we were out driving we saw that the windshield had several small chips, one large chip and had a glazing like it was sand blasted. I called the salesman and told him the problem and he said he would see what he could do. He called me 2 days later to tell me the used car manager said he was not going to do anything about the windshield but would further check with the the General Manager since we were repeat customers (2012 AWD Acadia and 2016 Sierra Z71 both new) and he was sure they would take care of this for us. I never heard back and had to have the windshield replaced and pay for it myself. I can't believe a $250.00 windshield cost them our business after we had spent almost $150,000.00 in the last 5 years there. Rick!!

New truck sales and warranty

The worst dealership ever. I have bought A Lotta new cars over the years, and have never been treated so bad. I have been threatened three times, I have been told to leave and never come back twice now. I have yet to get a single apology. The first 2016 truck had numerous electrical issues along with a break failures and weird banging noises underneath the truck. They refused to fix the issues. After seven months of trying to get it fixed Brogden finally bought the truck back from me. But in the agreement I had to buy another new truck from them. Then the truck that I was forced to buy from Brogden GMC had flat spots (and still does) on the tires and a couple minor electrical issues and they refused to fix them also.

**JUST A REGULAR CUSTOMER**

**SERVICE DEPT PROVIDES AWFUL SERVICE** I DO NOT recommend using this dealer for service. I took my 2014 Buick Verano that was making a rattling noise in for repair. First they had my car for 4 days then an additional 2 WEEKS to finally figure out what the noise was. When I went to pick up my car I asked if they would give me discount or coupon for future services for the inconvenience of them not being able to fix my car for 2 weeks. The associate's response was, "it's not our fault, you wanted your car fix". This is NO way to treat a customer. Well a few days later, I received an email asking about my visit, so I sent a detail response of my awful experience. I never heard back from them (which the email assured me the General Manager himself would reach out). Moving forward, months later, I scheduled an appointment with them for a simple oil change which I figured they couldn't get wrong. A day later, I received a call from the manager stating because of my "bad" experience and my email that I had sent, he rather I went somewhere else for service. What kind of dealership sends away THEIR customers that own THEIR cars that are still under warranty!!!!!! My car only has 14,000 miles on it and is fully warrantied until 50,000. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great and Friendly Staff

We were sold a vehicle at one price (price was on the windshield and we didn't even negotiate it any lower as we thought it was a fail price) but when it was time to do the paperwork we were charged a different price. The new pricing was explained but never changed back. I kept questioning and then the price changed to what we were originally told with no explanation. This left us with a very poor feeling about the dealership and questions if I would consider buying another vehicle there. We have since told others of our experience. Although I checked recommend below I would have to think twice about that because of the comments above.

Great Dealership

Our salesman Jason, was very good and helped us as soon as he could. The only negative was not on Jason, but that we had to wait for over 30 minutes because the sales team was in a meeting. We did not have an appt., but I would think taking care of a customer would be more important than a sales meeting.

Very good Service

made the requested oil change as well as took care of a recall issue to which I had brought their attention to. Forgot to ask them if there is a 'ecno' mode to save on gas as the acadia seems to give low mileage(less than 10 miles to a gallon)

Good experience, minor issues that they offered to rectify

I had a minor brake squeaking issue that was similar to the last time I brought it in. They lubed "it" and fixed it for about 4 weeks until it came back. I brought it in this time and it seemed like it improved it but it was still there. The service coordinator called me back and offered to have me bring it back in, but I told her it wasn't quite bad enough to go all the way to the dealership to have it addressed. The software update associated with the recall apparently also resulted in intermittent problems with the back-up camera. I will need to get that fixed very soon.
