Although my E 320 was 12 years young and low mileage, I had decided it was time to make a change. From past experience with this dealership, I was almost sure I would find what I wanted. In 17 years, I have purchased 3 Mercedes Benz and have returned, because they have been free from any major mechanical problems. Fred, my sales associate, did an exceptional job of choosing a vehicle which would fit my needs and explaining details of all features which were previously unfamiliar to me. I dont recommend this dealer to anyone and recommend going across the street to Willis where I had the best car buying experience in Des Moines. I waited at their main reception desk for over 30 minutes while sale associate after sales associate walked by me making eye contact but not once offering any type of assistance. I was there to get my current Mercedes appraised for a trade-in and nobody cared to help. I have paid this dealership thousands for maintenance and repairs and was treated like trash. I ended up walking out of this dealership with nothing. My opinion is that these people judge you by your appearance and if you dont dress to impress or look educated, have money, or of a specific ethnicity then you are not welcome there. My CLS went on EBay that same night and my perception of this brand/dealer is tarnished!
