CPO Pre-Owned Cadillac purchased at Willis Auto Campus

onMy wife and I took a chance and purchased a 3 year old 2011 Cadillac CTS AWD 3.6 Premium CPO (Certified Pre-Owned Car) from Willis Auto Plaza in March 2014. We had been looking locally where we live and found a couple CPO car choices that we were considering but they didnt have a few of the things we were looking for like, equipment, accessories, low mileage, interior color, and exterior color. So I started looking on the internet in cities/dealerships up to 200 miles away. Willis had this CPO listed and it pretty much fit what we were looking for so I called them. We had a trade in and discussed what we were comfortable with in a trade-in difference. We had to put trust into what they were telling us about the car they had and they had to trust what we told them about our vehicle. We came to a price agreement on the phone pending our own personal inspection of their vehicle and their inspection of ours. Now one year out from the purchase I felt the need to give a review report. We are reasonably happy with car and with Willis Auto Plaza. The day we committed to go see the car and make the purchase if everything was as promised it was raining lightly which I was not too happy about. It is not a good idea to inspect a car or purchase in a rain. But we spotted a couple minor things and they took care of them, although it was not as cleaned up as I was would have expected but our deal on the phone and the rain didnt give them much time to do a great job the same way our vehicle was too. The car we purchased so far has been good to us, yes it is has a few minor scratches and small things that could have been better that was not noticed at the time of purchase, but it is used and nothing major has happened so I consider the CPO car a 9 out of 10, possible. Oh by the way it is a factory certified vehicle so any Cadillac dealership will honor the CPO Warranty. I have to say that we were impressed with all of the Willis personnel they were very respectful, courteous, friendly and professional. The Willis Dealership was under a remodeling construction at the time we were there but the parts that were done were very nice and classy! There were no hassles or change in the verbal commitment agreement by us or them and the transaction went very pleasantly and smoothly. So my hats off to Willis Auto Plaza and the personnel, it was the best car buying experience I have ever had in my life time and I am a retired senior, so I have been car buying a long time. Thanks Willis! I think Willis deserves a 9 ½ out of 10. I would have said 10 if the car had been detailed better but time was short.

onWe purchased 2 vehicles from Willis. One brand new one for us and a used one for our daughter. The salesman was knowledgable and professional. Not pushy at all. The experience was great from start to finish. We will get all our future vehicles from Willis.

onThe salesman was not pushy. Willis Cadillac had a line on the color and options that I wanted in a SRX. The only problem I had was with the finance company and the person that wrote up the financing. I have a trust and could not get my wife on the title.

Never Again

onI purchased this vehicle from Willis because of what I was led to believe about their Dealership. That they FULLY Inspected vehicles before they decided to keep a trade in for their lot. (I also looked for a vehicle traded in to them - not a Auction Vehicle) I have now learned my lesson and will be my last vehicle purchased from Willis. Simple Rule - If you are not going to do it just don't tell people you do. The day I drove it home I had to replace a headlight - Not Covered. Discovered the Front Speakers Cut Out Often - Not Covered. The Upper Right Front Ball Joint was Shot - Not Covered. The Heated Seats don't work properly - Not Covered Found that ALL the lines for the Rear Window Defrost were broken - Not Covered. I actually called to see about replacing a tire that got a nail in it and was told not covered (Duh) and when we started talking about all the other problems, it was basically told to me that it's my fault for not purchasing the extended warranty at 3 times the cost of what you could get it elsewhere. And by the way the extended warranty would have ONLY covered the ball joint. Very Disappointed in my experience and will not return.
