Easy to deal with but no passion for the car or service

Negotiation duration a pandemic was relatively painless. However, there was no discussion of features or maintenance or instructions. After we signed the papers, we were pretty much handed the keys and pointed out the door. They were friendly but inexperienced and not knowledgeable. If we hadn't already researched our vehicle, we would have never purchased it from them.

My experience with Gurley Leep and Joe was a super positive one--and the process wasn't that stereotypical take all day scenario. I worked with Joe first while out of the country--via text. He answered my questions and got back to me promptly. He took time with me while on site, answering questions, with test drives of a couple of models, and provided information. I also think it important to mention that as a woman, alone at the dealership, I was treated professionally--as someone who could negotiate, understand the process and purchase a vehicle without needing 'assistance'. I really appreciate the respect I was shown.

Bought a new car there and once I signed papers i felt like they didn’t care anymore. When I bought the car they had to go get it so they asked for my insurance info and said they would call them with VIN # since they didn’t have it at that time. I put a call into my insurance co two weeks later only to find out they never called. Had two holes in front bumper from license plate holder so I asked for two plugs to cover them since I’m from Michigan and didn’t need front license and the salesman said “no he didn’t have enough pull to get me some” also got an email from manager congratulating me on my purchase and if I needed anything to call him but after 3 phone calls and a message left and no return calls I gave up. Finally after leaving a review with my first name on it someone from the dealership responded for me to get ahold of them and couldn’t even leave their name just a generic email address

The business is clean and organized, fast service. However, the salesman took our car insurance and said the dealership would contact them to tell them we bought the new car, start the insurance. They did not! Few weeks after having the care we called our insurance to double check, they had not been alerted! We were driving a brand new car without insurance! The front bumper of the car has holes drilled in it for a plate which isn’t needed in our state. We called and ask for plugs. The envelope came, taped shut, empty, he obviously forgot to put the plugs in. We called, they just didn't think that was true and couldn’t send them. We ordered from amazon. They did not go above and beyond to encourage us to return for future car purchase.

I had a great experience. They understood exactly what i needed and did not try to talk me out of it. They worked with me to reach my goal of what I wanted in the car and financially. Ask for Chuck, he is a great salesman and he knows a TON about his product.
