Purchased a Yukon XL Denali and Buick Enclave

The manager, Rocky Faragoi, and the salesman, Jason Chiddester, are honest, fair, and thoroughly knowledgeable about GM and other products. They treated us with courtesy and explained the pricing and all other facets of the purchase. We liked them so much when buying a Yukon XL Denali that we purchased a Buick Enclave from them a month later.

Internet buying is easy and it works!

I used the internet to "find" my specific Buick Envision. 2016 is the first model year and local dealer couldn't do much but wait. Devon Niegos from Gurley Leep (2 hrs away) responded immediately, found my car, installed all the options I asked for (at a price I couldn't refuse), and it was one of the easiest car buying experiences ever.

Checking a fluid leak on my 2015 Buick LaCrosse

I was there to have my new Buick LaCrosse checked. It had leaking oil, and the reason why it was happening was; the mechanic that worked on an oil change made a mess and all over the lower body panels. Therefore, it got all cleaned up.

Joseph Trimboli Purchasing experience

Jean Green was the best automotive sales person that I've dealt with; she was informative, serious, helpful willing to be inconvenienced to make my purchasing experience a good one. I went to Gurley Leep to inquire about possible vehicles, rates etc, doing the due diligence that are necessary before making an expensive acquisition. Jean made this experience painless and informative. I ended up purchasing the vehicle I wanted on terms which were good for me and for the dealership at the same time. Jean created a win win. I wasn't planning on making the purchase at that time but am glad I did. Jean assisted in getting necessary paper work taken care of before I went south for the winter.Thanks Jean!

2014 GMC Sierra

I called in to see if I could get my vehicle in because the engine light was on and the gentleman said bring it in and we will get to as soon as we can. They called me back within a few hours and had it in and was trying to figure out the issue. I had my vehicle back the next day.

Not Quite 100%

I was happy with the service performed on my vehicle. However, the reason i am not giving the highest rating, is because when my car was returned to me, there was grease above the door handle on the driver's side, as well as dirt marks on the interior door of my vehicle. In the past when i have received service, my car was clean when it was returned to me.

Tiffany, Top notch sales woman

Tiffany is a very, very good sales woman. She explained everything very well. She answered all of our questions very competently. She did not twist our arms to buy a car, but let us decide whether we wanted to buy or not. She has all the qualities of the best possible sales person.

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

Poor Customer Service Today I visited Gurley Leep and purchased a Master Power Window Switch. I thought this was the part I needed because the "Unlock" did not work on my old switch. The parts salesman did not question my purchase or inform me that other things could cause this like a bad relay (12077866). The part cost $180.00. I paid by credit card and signed the credit card slip and a credit card purchase slip was attached to my receipt and I left. The parts clerk did not inform me that the purchase was final (No returns) because the part was electrical. The parts clerk did not check with his service counterparts to see if other things could cost the "unlock" to stop working on my old switch. When I returned home, I installed the new Master Switch and the problem was not resolved. I did a couple of more hours research and discovered that the $10.00 relay (12077866) might be the problem. I went and purchased one and my problem was resolved. I was on my way back to the dealership parts dept. and I happened to look at the receipt and noticed the statement "Thank you for your order no return on special order or electrical items...." I was immediately concerned and called the parts dept. and sure enough I was out $180.00 for a part I did not need. My fellow car owners, my advice to you is simple. DO NOT EXPECT GURLEY LEEP TO OFFER YOU ANY ADVICE OR SOLUTIONS. This would be giving you GOOD customer service and I think GURLEY LEEP prefers POOR customer service. I am a Service Manager, and I understand that the customer is without doubt the most important piece in successful business. Why else is a business even in business if not for the customer!. Gurley Leep refused to refund the money and take the part back. I understand they have the right because they have their policy on the receipt. The problem is you do not sign the receipt and accept that you understand their terms. In my case i signed a credit card purchase slip and a copy of that was stapled to my receipt AFTER SIGNING. So I was not given a chance to understand their policy before purchasing the part. I hope you understand what I am advising. I think the customer should be #1 and Gurley Leep is NOT taking care of you. I called the General Manager of Gurley Leep GMC and I told him the same thing and that I intended to post a blog describing the events and poor customer service. He then got very negative and said go ahead with your threat and blog away. A good General Manager would have said he would look into improving this area of customer service and making the customer aware. Folks, customer service is not hard, you just have to remember why you are in business to start with...to take care of the customers need.....not take them for every dollar by poor business practices. I will see if I can share this review in other areas like LinkedIn and Facebook. Thank you.

False Advertizing

Leep had an "Internet Coupon" that they would beat another dealers quote by $500 for same year/make/model. When we presented a competitive quote we were told the other vehicle was "old and probably had lot rot"..."the tires go flat and will drive bumpy". The other vehicle was manufactured 6 months ago, and Leeps vehicle 1 month ago. Because of this, they did not honor their own "coupon". We then found out the "old" vehicle was on the other dealer's showroom floor. We bought that one...nothing wrong with it at all. We can't believe dealers like Leep still play these old BS sales games.
