I love my new Malibu

by Danny Rhodes on 07/20/2023

Great experience. The team at Stanley Chevrolet went above and beyond to make sure I was able to purchase the car that I wanted at a price I could afford. I wasn't happy with the floor mats that came with my purchase, so my sales rep Casey ordered me a set of premium all-weather mats at no cost. I love my new 2023 Malibu 2LT. Ajesh and Casey made this buying experience easy and enjoyable. I have now bought 4 cars from Stanley Chevrolet since 1996, and I recommend them to everyone I know that's interested in purchasing their next vehicle.

Excellent. Customer Service is First Class. First they squeezed me in with only two days notice, then they performed the service in record time. Thank You.

Service

by Not happy on 03/26/2021

Stanley Chevrolet performed a tuneup, oil change and tires rotation. The Service technician did not reprogram the tire sensors. Immediately following me picking up my vehicle, all of the tire sensors were reading low pressure. The front right tire pressure was at 25 lbs of pressure. I was close to Discount Tires. Discount Tires repaired “screw” the front right tire, properly aired the additional three and reprogrammed the sensors. This morning I noticed oil under my vehicle. It was coming from the oil filter. I tightened the filter and it no longer leaked.

Excellent Group Of People

by JoeW on 06/11/2019

My wife and I purchased a new 2019 Equinox last night and could not be more pleased with the entire experience. Our sales consultant Tom was patient, listened to my needs and answered every question I had. He was knowledge about the product, honest, and forthright. Ajesh, the sales manager came out and explained how Stanley was unique in their approach to financing which I found informative and extremely helpful. He pledged to find a great rate and deal, which he did. Kyle Stanley handled all the paperwork, was attentive, patient, and answered every question throughout this process. If you want to do business with a group of people who are honest and that you can trust, it would be a huge mistake to go anywhere else. Stanley can now count on my wife and me as a loyal and hopefully long time customers.

Disappointed with service

by Anita on 05/20/2019

The first warm day this spring I went to use my AC and noticed it wasn't working. At the time I noticed it the car was 341 miles passed warranty. Due to their schedule and mine by the time I got it to them it was approximately 475 miles past warranty. However, I am certain that the compressor stop working well before my warranty was expired but due to it being the winter time I never tried to use it. They were completely unwilling to work with me at all even though it stopped working while still under warranty. After spending $1200 to replace the compressor it is not working properly. Something is continuing to run after turning the car off and taking the key out of the ignition, draining my battery and leaving me stranded. I have purchased every vehicle I have owned in the last ten years from Stanley Chevy. I continued to use them for service, even though I now live 45 minutes away. However, not again, I am very disappointed with every part of this experience.

I WILL NEVER GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP AGAIN!1

by Robin on 02/11/2019

We purchased a truck from this dealership brand new. With less than 100,000 miles on it we had to have a new transmission put in. With less than 50,000 miles on that one it went out as well. Upon having the truck towed to the dealership for a new transmission, they rummaged thru our truck and found a Jiffy Lube receipt where we had had an oil change just 30 day prior. They claimed that Jiffy Lube had overfilled the transmission fluid by 4 quarts causing the warranty to be null and void!!!! The receipt only shows they topped it off (1/2 quart if that) Upon checking with another transmission place, they said the truck would have thrown out any overage of fluid out the vents and should not have done any damage. Jiffy Lube said if they had put 4 quarts in they would have charged us for that. This is all on Stanley Chevrolet and i will tell everyone i know not to buy or have a vehicle serviced there. They are a rip off!!! I had to pay $3,000.00 to put another transmission in this truck which they say has the same warranty as the second one but do you think i will take this truck there? Hell no!!!

Bait and Switch

by D.S. on 01/21/2018

The "One dime down, credit amnesty" is a bait and switch tactic to get you in the door. Absolutely no mention of this advertising nor offer to use it, when I mentioned it, they acted as though they did not hear me and changed the subject. Total rip off!

Friendly workers, shady owners

by boydsmith40 on 02/04/2012

I contacted Jason approximately 2 weeks ago about trading in my lifted crew cab GMC Canyon Z71 2WD on a stock crew cab Chevrolet Colorado Xtreme that they had on their lot. The communication was great and Jason would return my emails quickly. We discussed the issue of my location in relation to them. I live 6.5+ hours away in Tennessee, but they had a truck that I was very interested in. I answered all of their questions about my truck, most likely told them more than what they cared to know. I told them about the work that was put into the truck, everything I was willing to do to help them resell it (replace parts due to the custom nature of mine) and the only thing I asked was that I could do a straight trade. I told them that I did not have the title in hand, but was currently working on it due to a mix up at the bank (they sent it to the wrong address) but I would have it within the week (I received the paperwork needed to get the title on Saturday, the 28th.) Don assured me this was okay since what they would most likely do was keep the title to the Xtreme until I mailed them the title to the Canyon, then they would send out the Xtreme's title. After several discussions, pictures and phone calls between Jason and myself and Don (floor manager) and myself, we came to the conclusion that they wanted my truck and were willing to do a straight trade if I drove up there. They even worked with me on when I could come down there due to me having to attend some military training out of town for a week (23-27Jan). So, we agreed that I would drive my truck up there on the 28th of January to do the trade. I arrived in Indiana approximately 1130 in the morning their time (1 hour time shift from where I live) and found Jason. He greeted me with a smile and hand shake and we began the personal introductions and talks. He handed me the keys to the Xtreme and let me and my friend take it for a test spin. I drove it a quarter mile down the road, turned around and came back, I wanted it. My keys were handed to Jeff and he looked everything over and liked what he saw, everything was as I described it, he wanted it. The owner of the dealership did not feel comfortable that I did not have a title in hand, so I spent the next 3 hours getting as much paperwork as I could to show that I did in fact own it and it was paid off. This included a photo copy of the title the bank sent me, calls to the bank to get a lein release letter, my credit report and I even offered to put a deposit down to show them that I was serious. After the 3 hours of working with me, Jason approached me and said "Can I tell you something without you getting mad?" I knew it wasn't good, but figured that I was up a creek due to me not having all the papers, not very happy about that due to what I was told prior to going up there. His next words didn't register to me for what a good minute or two (at least that is what it seemed like to me at the time). "The owner does not want your truck because it isn't 4 wheel drive." After I realized what he said, I chuckled because it had to be a joke. They knew the truck was a 2wd, they also knew that I had just driven 6.5 hours on way with their word that I would be able to trade the truck in if it was as described. They had my VIN number. This was a joke. It was not. They stopped doing business with me and just shrugged their shoulders. While Jeff and Jason were patient and courtious and worked with me while I was there, they were done with the deal. I had just spent $75-$100 in gas to get up there and taken almost half a day at that point to be away from my family (even after being TDY) to do this deal they said was good, and then they told me that they didn't want my truck because it wasn't 4wd. That meant that I had to spend another $75-$100 and another 6.5-7 hours in the truck to drive back home. Being that I was a little (very) aggitated at this, I demanded they pay for the gas I used to drive there and back since this was something that was NOT my fault, that I had fulfilled everything on my end of our agreement and provided them with all the information about my truck. They offered to fill up my tank, which was around the half way mark and that is it. I understand there was no legal obligation behind our deal since no contract was signed so what they did was perfectly fine in a legal sense. To you Mr. Stanley (whichever one of you decided to make this surprising decision) you have reminded me why I don't deal with dealerships I don't know. Hope that someone else realizes that that 2005 black Crew Cab Chevrolet Colorado Xtreme that you are selling for 19950 has a good markup on it from everything I know and have researched... Good luck to the consumer that enters this dealer. I hope you fair better than I did...

I took my 2007 chevy Tahoe in for a battery problem, (Still under warranty). At 14,320 miles before the service visit was over the service writer was trying to tell me that I needed $425.00 worth of maint. work done. I told that service writer that he was out of his mind that there was no way that a vehicle that had only 14,320 miles on it needed that type of maint. I had only had it 6 months. I will not ever go back there and would not recommend them to anyone.
