Great experience!

by a7nx000 on 12/02/2015

I purchased a 2014 Subaru Forester two days ago from the Jackson Family of Dealerships in Sullivan, IL. It was a perfect example of professional customer service. My interaction began with an online inquiry about the vehicle on a Saturday afternoon. I received an immediate “we received your inquiry” and a follow-up call from Aubrie. She provided an answer to my initial question and also provided a vehicle history report. We scheduled an appointment for 8:30 Monday morning. I ended up being an hour and a half late for my appointment with Jeremy Janes. Even though he was working with another customer, he didn’t chastise me for being late. He was very accommodating and had the vehicle all ready for my test drive. The vehicle was thoroughly cleaned both inside and out…kudos to the detailing folks. I spent a good hour checking out the Forester. Although Jeremy was busy with his other customers, he kept checking with me to answer all my questions. When we began negotiating the price, he was very professional, informative, and friendly. He didn’t apply pressure, try to do a bait-and-switch, bad-mouth other cars or dealers, talk down to me, or make a million trips back to his manager. He didn’t brush off any concerns, and addressed them directly. After the deal was confirmed, I worked with Kayleb to handle the paperwork. It was again, a very friendly, professional process. He explained everything and addressed my questions. Since I had driven by myself from Bloomington to test drive the car, I returned the next day to pick it up. I interacted with Ross. Same deal, he was very helpful and was willing to go out of his way to address all of my questions. Aubrie called today to make sure everything was OK with the new car. She let me know that if I have any problem to get back with them. I really felt her sincerity…it wasn’t just some hollow comment. Overall, it was an extremely pleasant experience with every person at Jackson. I am 62, so I’ve purchased quite a few vehicles, both new and used, over the years. I highly recommend Jackson in Sullivan!

2013 Chevrolet Impala

by cardinalfan3 on 08/25/2015

We just purchased a 2013 Chevrolet Impala from Jackson Family of Dealerships at Sullivan Il. Our experience with Wyatt Jenkins, Kayleb Burritt, Jason Wavering and Kristina Korando could have only been better if they had given us the car instead of selling it to us. To be serious they were outstanding to work with and we would highly reccomend all of them if you are in the market for a vehicle. A friend of ours from Charleston Il told us about them and we thank her very much. Again just, great folks to work .with. Karen and Charles McKinney, Neoga Il.

Completely Ridiculous

by PhillipsFamily on 09/11/2013

After making an internet inquiry thru Edmunds.com on the purchase of a new vehicle from the Jackson Family of Dealerships I would NEVER recommend them to any one else. It began by them sending me an email stating how they had received my inquiry but that the vehicle I was interested in had already been sold, which I understood because of course they are in the business to sell cars. They advised that they had some other models matching my description and thought I might be interested in one of them. They also supplied "my purchase price" with them. "My purchase price" though seemed to be a little high especially after having done my research on what the prices should be around. So I went to their very own website to see what they were listing the same exact vehicles for that they had given me prices on. Keep in mind, I thought the whole purpose of negotiating a car price over the internet was a way to obtain a fair and reasonable price for both parties involved and that they would be making me a good faith offer. To my surprise my "special purchase price" was nearly $1,000 MORE than the listed price on their website. Talk about a complete turnoff. A small percentage of car dealers through the years have earned a shady reputation for actions such as these. Without even stepping my foot on their lot I already felt like I was trying to be taken advantage of. There was no transparency or consistency in their pricing which is both highly frustrating and suspect to say the least. When I sent them a reply email stating just that, they said, "What I sent you is called an e-brochure and they unfortunately do not reflect any of the discounted prices on them. They show the sticker price and the information on the vehicle. The price that you did see online is correct. I apologize for any confusion and hope we can still have a chance to earn your business. This issue is not something I can control or adjust." So, instead of buying a new Jeep product from them I went to the Toyota dealership and bought a new Venza from Crown Toyota who I WOULD HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking for a straight forward, transparent, and fair, buying experience.
