What Service Really Means at Green Toyota Dealership

I was reluctant to trade a new BMW I had for only 6 months knowing I was going to lose a lot of money. But I decided to "look" around anyway to get an idea what I would purchase/trade in the future. I had a Subaru reserved in mind but when I met with Josh at Green Toyota, Springfield IL and he made a deal with me I couldn't pass up. What impressed me most about the service I received was his determination to find ways to save me money on my Prius to compensate for the $10,000 loss I took on my BMW. With my new Prius, I received a rebate, interest free loan for 74 months, tax free due to trading, free oil changes and couple of rotations, plus my monthly loan amount was reduced by $200, outstanding trade deal, etc.. If I doubted anything, Josh tapped all the resources with fact base knowledge on paper. He knew I wanted to trade but I didn't want to continue making huge payments on my current car loan, the potential maintenance cost, in addition to losing $10G. Josh knew I wanted to take more of a practical approach on a vehicle I would have for a while. Due to Josh's relentless and dedicated efforts, I am a proud owner of a 2016 Toyota Prius! I could not be any happier with my decision. I benefited most due to Josh's hard work and it was not easy. But he diligently stayed committed to this deal until I was satisfied. Thanks Josh for all your hard work! You truly are dedicated to your service and a genuine salesman!

My dad took me shopping for my first new car. I have never financed a car before and wasn't sure what to do or what I was in for. When I arrived I was dead-set on purchasing a cheaper, used vehicle. However, after the salesperson and then my dad explaining to me the reasons why buying new would be to my advantage that is what I chose to do. I could only do it if the team were able to get my payments beneath a certain amount. After a lot of hard work on their part, they were able to accomplish this for me. I was confused and almost confrontational while there because I did not understand. However, my dad took me to lunch and better explained what the salesperson was telling me and then I made the decision to purchase the car. The best part was that I wanted to do this on my own, with my own credit and they did that for me. However, in order to get my payments down that little amount that I needed them to be, my dad co-signed and helped get the payments down to the perfect amount.

Overall I was satisfied, although I was told that if I agreed to a price that I would sign today. Salesman came back and it wasn't the price we agreed to and he had figured in some other numbers and I felt as if he was trying to be deceptive so we sent him back out, we ended up splitting the difference in the end and bought the car. I understand you need to make a profit but be negotiable. Lastly, When buying a new car please make sure it is detailed fully, there were scuff marks throughout which were pointed out to salesman but the biggest disappointment was when getting the car home, there was trash in the middle console. Really guys? come on you can deliver a BRAND NEW car better than that! All that being said I will buy here again, because I believe in the Toyota brand but you don't always have to buy the sticker price and everyone knows that!

My husband and I purchased a brand new car for our daughters at Green Toyota and couldn't be more pleased. Our daughters were on the fence about what they wanted. Mylas Copeland who is the general manager came over personally and helped guide the girls in the right direction. The process couldn't have been any smoother than it was. We we chose a car, crunched numbers, were approved and driving off the lot in under 2 hours. I was very impressed with the professionalism of all that were involved with our purchase and would recommend Green Toyoya to anyone that is looking for a car with excellent customer service!

Mylas showed impeccable personal service that was reflected in Greg Williams sales and finishing touches. The financing was no pressure and even better than a deal a had brought from my bank. Mylas has delivered on his promises to me and that I've seen advertised. He found the 2016 Hybrid I wanted 4 states away and fit it for me. My husband's Tacoma gave him 13 great years but it was time for him to get a new one. He had been talking with Dave and I knew he was anxious but he is always putting the rest of the family first. Dave was able to work with me (secretly) to help surprise my husband with his new black Tacoma that has a sun roof. Dave has helped up with every car purchase for the last 20 years. The financing part of the experience was wonderful! Dan was very thorough in his explanation and we never felt any pressure. Overall, I must say that the dealership has helped me surprise my husband with a dependable truck that he "loves." Thank you Green Toyota!

We have purchased many vehicles from Green Toyota. (and Green Audi) The staff has always treated us wonderfully. It amazes me when I see bad reviews about this place... the people writing the reviews are obviously the problem- not the dealership. People typically only write cruel reviews when they are to blame for an issue that they had... not the other way around. The Toyota staff makes you feel like a member of their own family when you come in for service- they bring you a drink, let you sit and chat, make you popcorn or bring you cookies. Just to be nice... not to sell anything to us. They also offer a dinner for customers who purchase a new vehicle every year. This place is GENUINELY a wonderful place to purchase a vehicle. We HIGHLY recommend them!

Nice people, not nice pricing

I was ready to buy a Camry there and they practically laughed at me when I brought out the Edmunds true value pricing. The salesman told me that to get anything like that price on my new car I would have to practically give them my trade-in (worth at least $7000 on KBB). That is the tactic they tried next- lower their asking price, which was practically the sticker, and then lower their trade-in offer by even more. I'd heard nothing but bad things about dealing with them and this experience only confirmed it. I'd gone in to buy a Toyota one other time and had the same experience. Both times I just walked away wondering how they find enough suckers to stay in business. I thought the people were nice but its apparent that they are not interested in selling you a car unless they make a killing. Next time I'll just go straight to Peoria or Decatur like so many other people from Springfield do.
