Nightmare experience

I recently purchased a BMX X3 from Patrick BWM. My client advisor for the purchase was Syed. During the day of purchase I experienced so many challenges and poor customer service with purchasing the vehicle: -Syed confirmed over the phone the day of pickup that the interest rate would be 1.9% only to arrive and he tells me the interest rate is now 2.9% - I waited 5 hours in the dealership to finally purchase the vehicle though I sent the requested documentation in advance of the appointment  - I later reviewed the final finance paperwork to realize my $1K deposit was never deducted from the cost of the vehicle. So I had to take additional steps with Syed the next day to have the credit card payment refunded. I was told the deposit slip had been lost from my file and that it happens all of the time. - Upon leaving the dealership, the salesman lost the 2nd key to the vehicle. I still do not have a 2nd key. - I never received a walk through of the vehicle with a BMW Genius to learn all of the features.  I do not recommend buying a vehicle from this dealership.

Worst buying experience:

Do not let sales managers bully you into buying/leasing any vehicle from them! Enzo is one of the most unprofessional sales managers I've ever dealt with. I requested specific information from Mr. costa such as the money factor, residual, what rebates and how much were applied, etc. When I pointed out that the money factor was much higher than what other dealers were offering. Mr. Enzo had no valid points regarding the increased money factor rate; however, his attitude was less than desirable. I was there to lease a vehicle, which requires negotiations (obviously). I was trying to negotiate the money factor with Mr. Enzo. Once the question was brought on money factor, it turned into an aggressive, rude, sales tactic of “I don’t need to sell this car to you because I’m going to make more money selling it to someone else.” It was a question, and a negotiation. I was left speechless and once he said “thank you” after his rant. There’s a level of professionalism we expect from salesmen and especially from sales managers from a high-end luxury brand.

Hi, I just want to make sure that everyone knows to stay away from this dealership. If you thought that going to this dealership is safer ( change your thinking). We have bought a car at this dealership and when we brought it back for service few days later. Our car was gone be returned to us the same day or next day morning. When I called the next day our salesman said that the service is taking longer and asked me if its OK if we can wait few more days because their guy ( company that is applying the coating) is running behind. It seemed very weird to me especially that I made an appointment. The same day afternoon someone called my office and said that my car was involve in an accident a day before and the guy asked me to give him my insurance. Me and my wife immediately went to the dealership, when we got there I asked the salesman Terry: "where is my car?" and he said: "At the service". I told him that we got a call and our car was involved in an accident a day before. He has told me that he is not aware of anything :) after awhile he made some calls and finally told us that the Company they use to apply the coating for our car took our car and when they were going to their shop their guy crashed it. So we asked him where our car is and what we found out something that could be the last thing I could expect from a dealership that should take good care of our 100 thousand dollar car. Our car was already at a body shop all taken apart, they were gone fix it and give it back to us without telling us the truth. If it wasn't for the guy that was rear ended and somehow found our office number, we would have paid 100 thousand for a car that was involved in an accident. Well this is our story.

Great experience

I had a great experience working closely with Angelo on buying my first BMW. He is genuinely nice and honest, and made the buying process very easy for me. The financing process took less than 2 hours which was appreciated and unlike anything I have experienced before.

Great Dealership

I recently purchased a new 2016 BMW 428i Xdrive convertible. The salesman, Sal Sapienza along with Tim Gadomski the sales manager were responsive to my needs and gave me a great price. After I ordered the vehicle and upon delivery everyone I had contact with treated me with the utmost respect with absolutely no pressure. I couldn't have been more happier with Patrick BMW.

Favorable Experience

I recently traded in my 535i Xdrive for a new 335i Xdrive. The 5 was a little large for me. I am a petite woman. My experience with Patrick was very favorable. I had done my research ahead of time and pretty much new which vehicle I wanted when I walked in. I like that you can view the Patrick inventory without being barraged by pop-ups and requests for contact information, as I found with other dealers. Angelo was very accommodating and requested two vehicles from storage for me to test-drive. Before I could pull the trigger on the purchase, Angelo left for vacation in Florida, but left me in the good hands of his colleague Keith Svec. Keith completed the transaction and actually sold me the new car. Both of these gentleman were very professional and helpful. When an issue came up regarding tires on my trade-in, Keith handled it well. My session with the "genius" Senal was outstanding. He is a very patient and kind young man and Patrick is lucky to have him. Lastly, you can't beat their pricing. I priced this car at all of the Chicagoland dealerships and they were by far the most competitive. Maybe the others leave more room for negotiation, but I feel like I got a great deal. The only thing that is holding me back from a 5 star rating is that I waited a bit on several occasions due to the fact that the dealership was extremely busy. Do you need more staff?

2nd Time Buyer From Patrick!!!!!!

The first time we purchased from Patrick BMW it was a 335 xi in 2008. The sales rep then was wonderful and so was the service department, could find no faults. This time around was even better. Had a 340 xi built and received it in record time (had we went with Audi it would have been 3 months which is a bit too long to wait for a car, no offense to Audi.) Johannes kept us up to date as to where the car was in production, shipping and delivery. Something to consider, we had our own financing and the finance gentleman asked if he could have a shot with getting a better rate and he did not disappoint. Patrick BMW offers additional products and it is not a hard sell, you either want it or you don't and there is no pressure. Also, they don't give you the car and shove you off the lot, they have their geniuses who show you how to use every facet of the car, the guy we had was fantastic and told us if we had any other questions to not hesitate to contact him which I will be doing because I was so excited about the car I forgot how to do a couple of things! Yes, I am giving a glowing report on Patrick BMW, but I speak honestly and if there was something I did not care for I have no problem stating it. The team at Patrick were not annoying nor condescending like a certain BMW dealership in the area that employs children. The Patrick team did a bang up job and you have to give credit where credit is due.

Awesome experience and great deal

Had the pleasure of working with Greg Larsen at Patrick BMW. What an awesome experience. Greg spent a couple of weeks helping me pick the right car, found me the best deal, and made sure I understood all the numbers with complete transparency. He got me a deal that no-one else could get anywhere close to. If you want a great deal and someone with high integrity and a customer first attitude then Greg is your man - don't even try going to someone else as they wont be able to come anywhere near to Greg. No pressure, great environment. This is my 3rd BMW from Patrick.

Great Sales Experience!

WOW! I have had many car buying experiences and Patrick BMW was by far the best. Our sale associate, Mark Marzec, while new, was very knowledgeable and helpful. He was not pushy, but really knew what was important to me as a customer. I told him upon arriving that I felt that the 5 series was in my price point but I really wanted a 7 series. After giving him my budget he quickly found two cars that fit my criteria. He explained the details of both cars and took me out for a test drive. I was hooked. The finance was equally as low key - the application was simple and straight forward and Danny in Finance was funny and great to work with. I walked out with a car that I am in love with and a great experience as well. Thanks, Patrick BMW! Look forward to many years together.

I just leased my 2nd car from Patrick BMW. Our first experience was exceptional and this visit wasn't any different. Everyone was very friendly and easy to work with. Brian Parker, my sales person, was a true professional. He listened to what I wanted and put me in the perfect car. I will absolutely be back in future. This was the most positive experience I have ever had at a car dealership. I already have and will continue to recommend Patrick BMW to anyone looking for a new car. Great job to everyone at Patrick BMW and keep it up!

BEST DEAL + HASSLE FREE PROCESS

This is my 4th time buying a car, and by far the most pleasing experience. I've done my homework and researched the marked, knowing what are the features i wanted, what is my trade worth, and what I'm expected to pay for my new car. But i wanted to shop around, and i did. Took me all day on one Saturday in late June, i visited 4 BMW dealers with one intention - finding the best deal. I was @ Westmont, Bill Jacobs, Elmhurst and Patrick BMW. My experience with Patrick was by far the best of all 4. The other 3 dealers were like "So you want new 2016 X6?, ok here is MSRP, go figure" then after an hour or so they were discounting a few thousand or so. With Bill Jacobs, we never actually got to the point of discussing new car pricing, i simply walked away after wasting 3 hours there just to find out that they are offering 20,000 for my trade, where @ Patrick they took my trade in for $26,000. When i got to Patrick BMW I was appointed to Alan Murad. I told him right away that i was shopping around and that i already was @ 3 dealerships and that i was looking for best deal. They sent somebody to start appraising my trade while Alan sit down with me and we started to configure my new car. Appraisal came in @ 25,000 right away and after an hour of hassle free negotiations it was @ 26,000. Same goes for MSRP, Alan Immediately offered better discount then the other 3 dealerships, making it an ever better deal after some time of negotiations. He was NOT pushing me to buy at any way, he was just making everything possible for the deal to go through. I hate being pushed by sales people. Alan was very knowledgeable, professional, "open" type of sales person. He created very friendly environment and he got me the best deal, hassle free. Communication was excellent as well, i sent Alan a ton of emails and even text messages, changed my configuration twice by adding features, all emails were answered, all phone calls returned and so on. My new car arrived in early August (for 2016 model year production does not start till August) Alan called me right away, 1 day later i picked up my car. Cannot be happier with my purchase, as well as with the purchase process. I strongly recommend Alan Murad, as well as Patrick BMW. I wish Alan the best of luck and many successful sales.

It was my second purchasing experience with Terry Shoemaker at Patrick BMW, Schaumburg, IL. I bought my first 328xi from Patrick BMW five years ago. Recently, I bought my second BMW 535d xi. For both cars, I was very pleased with the entire process (test drive, price, inspection, finance, walk-through, paperwork, etc.). If I can make one suggestion, it would be the service waiting room. I think it needs an extension for personal phone call and computer desks. Overall Patrick BMW gives me the best value compare to other vehicle dealers.

Excellent Car Buying Experience

I recently purchased a 2015 BMW X5 from Patrick BMW and couldn't have been more pleased with the entire process. I had done a good deal of research on line prior to visiting the dealership and felt confident I knew what I was looking for. Upon walking in the door, I warmly greeted by the receptionist and sales manager who happened to be sitting by the front desk. After asking a few questions, he introduced me to Sharon Lee, who was absolutely outstanding. We sat down in her office and she proceeded to ask me a bunch of questions to determine exactly what I was looking for. This was a welcome change from past car buying experiences where it was right to the lot to start selling me on cars I was not interested in. After determining the exact 3 cars that meet my needs, we drove over to their off-site lot to take a look and test drive. After looking through the options, unfortunately none of the 3 cars were exactly right but that didn't stop us. Sharon quickly researched and located the exact car I was looking for and was able to make arrangements to have it delivered the next day. A process I was fully expecting to take 1-2 weeks was accomplished in 1 day and everything couldn't have gone more smoothly. The next day I picked up my shiny new X5 and signed the paperwork and was on my way. Excellent experience and would definitely recommend Patrick and BMW to anyone!!!

Purchased CPO 2013 528i x drive

My experience at Patrick BMW, and most particularly with my sales person Sharon Lee, was top notch. This is my 6th BMW purchase but first from Patrick, and thus far was 2nd to none. When I drove up for my appointment Sharon greeted me outside and couldn't have been more pleasant. The buying, trading in, and education on the tech features of the car were easy and thorough. Sharon knows her BMW's. They threw in Redstar for servicing of the car which was appreciated given I live 30 miles away. I did research on the value of the car I was buying and also on my trade in they were fair on price in both instances. I knew what I wanted on my trade in and they were on it with no haggling. All in all a very positive experience so I recommend Patrick BMW and Sharon Lee as a knowledgeable and easy to work with sales person.

A Great Experience!

From the moment I walked in to the moment I drove out in my new 335i xDrive, I was treated like a VIP. Brian Parker showed me various models and series and patiently explained the differences between the series 3 and 5 as well as between the year models. I was not pressured in any way, instead, Brian helped me pick the right car for me based on my interests and needs. It's been a joy and a delight to commute to and from work in my new "Ultimate Driving Machine". Thank you Patrick BMW and thank you Brian Parker for a great experience in buying my first BMW.

Horrible dealer to do business with!

Dealer ( Patrick BMW ) sold me a 2013 Nissan GTR with a full factory Warranty on 11-18-2014 shipped it to NY on 11-22-2014 where I took delivery on it. Paint work all over the car & loud noise coming from the rear end of the car. They told me to bring it in for repairs which I did & 4 1/2 weeks later Star Nissan in queens NY told me there is no warranty on the car because back in 2013 it was put in some kind of race mode & that voided the warranty. I spoke to the selling dealer ( Tim Gadmoski ) he advised me that he needed to talk to his manager Alex Razvi & he would get back to me. A week later I received a call back from him after about a dozen or so calls to him saying they will not take the car back & I'm on my own with fixing the tranny in the car which cost $16,000

No BS Dealer, highly recommend

If you are looking to buy a BMW with 1. Easy to deal with 2. Best advice on what options to go 3. Best pricing in the area, not kidding, best pricing with no haggling. 4. You show them Edmunds/Truecar pricing on the options I selected and they beat that! If you want best pricing and guidance, just ask for Keith Svec, no one else!

horrible experience

Starting with the misleading information about the lease and interest rates, to the horrible customer service, our entire experience at Patrick BMW was ridiculously bad. We should have know better - here is why: Being new to Illinois, we asked about interest rates and taxes, and were misled into a lease, which actually costs more than it would have to finance the car through the bank. When we tried to discuss other options, we were flatly told, “You can’t." The car - which had 7000 miles on it (“used" by any other name) - was sold as “new” because it had never been titled. This “new” car showed a good deal of use, starting with a mangled wheel, and a cracked/broken rear light, which we had to discover for ourselves, as opposed to the dealership doing the necessary due diligence. When we brought the car in to have the windows tinted and to get the damage fixed, we were told they would call us when the car was ready. This was not to be. Rather, we had to call to find out when the car would be ready, and then we were never given confirmation that the car was actually ready. Upon deciding to pick up the car the next day (still not know if the car was ready or not), the Customer Service personnel told us that we had not received a call because they were, “really busy.” When we picked up the car, it was not washed or vacuumed as we had been told it would be. In fact, it was dirtier. And the people who had been working in our car left one of their tools in the backseat. To say that this was a bad experience would be downplaying it. The only saving grace of this experience is the fact that I can use ANY dealership in the U.S. for the maintenance of the car, which is one benefit I intend to use in order to avoid the insult that Patrick BMW calls “Customer Service."
