Mixed review

by Jphill529 on 09/23/2017

I went to green Chevy with my wife to look at some used trucks originally. We didn't find one we liked at the time. Later we took our trailblazer in to get serviced and it was going to take longer than expected so they gave us a loner truck one they wanted us to consider buying of course. When I return the truck I get a differnt sales rep named Trent Hammerlinck who was super push and did specifically the one thing I asked him not to since I was going through my bank he ran my credit! I got an alert on my phone and I asked him he tried to back track and then shook my hand saying I have great credit.... no kidding it's because I don't let people run it! I was so mad I haven't been back. I will be taking my car back for service as they did an amazing job but I don't think I'll be buying a vehicle there any time soon or at least the 2 years it takes there Mark to fall off!

Great Deal

by truckguy0821 on 05/23/2017

I bought my 2015 Silverado from Greens 2 months ago. I handled all the details online and through text. The sales people were very easy to work with

Never again

by Threllme2 on 09/15/2016

I had been to Green Ford about a year ago and had a horrible exerience where the sales acciate actually laughed in my face about my credit score. I already felt like crap but then he rubbed it in making me feel worse. Today I make an appointment at Green Chevrolet, hesitantly, since they are owned by the same people. My appointment was for 2pm. After waiting 30 minutes I was told the guy had a walk in with no appointment and was sorry he would be a while. Then another gentleman came to start helping. After expressing my entire situation to him he made a copy of my drivers license and said the original guy would be back to help me shortly and had me have a seat in the waiting area. I waited till 3:45. Almost 2 hours since my appointment time. No one even apologized for my wait. I left very irritated. I would definitely NOT recommend any Green dealership to any friends or family. I work in retail customer service and selling, I would never ever treat a customer or guest to my store in this manner.

Best Car Buying Experience Ever!

by erinsnewcruze on 05/01/2015

To me, shopping for a car is just about equal to getting a root canal. I hate the pressure, the haggling back and forth, and the uncertain feeling after I leave of "did I do the right thing?" It was the absolute opposite at Green. They worked with me to get a NEW car, instead of the used one that I was looking at, and also gave me EXACTLY what Kelly Blue Book said my car would be worth, without me having to argue! My payment was right where I wanted it, and I got a better rate since I was getting a new vehicle. It was a relaxed, no pressure experience, and I have already recommended Green to all my family and friends in the market for a new vehicle. You will not regret your decision to buy at Green!!

The Best People in the Auto Industry!

by themccoys on 02/04/2011

These are the best people in the auto dealership business. My husband and I had been looking for 2 Ford Escapes for 8 months and we just couldnt put a deal together until we met Angela Scardekia at Green Chevrolet. She only had one Escape on her lot that we were interersted in purchasing and she went well "out of her way" to get another Escape for us and she did it in less than 12 hours. She spends time getting to know your wants and needs in a vehicle, as well as spending time getting to know her customers. Not only is she a pleasure to talk to but she is fun to be around and she makes the car buying experience one to remember! Thank you Angela for everything you have done for us! So please if your in the market for buying a newer or used vehicle..go see Angela Scardekia! Oh and a big Thank you too to James Patacsil too! The best Chevrolet/Hummer dealer in the Mid-West

by duaneredding on 05/26/2009

I have purchased several vehicles from Green Chevy Hummer for both myself and my business. Each and every time I have recieved 5-star service. This doesn't just happen because of the number of cars and trucks we buy - it has been that way from day one. Without a doubt this dealership (which is also family owned) is going to be with us for years to come. Anyone who has a bad experience there should probably re-evaluate their definition of a car dealer. Their sales people are by no means poorly trained or managed. It is our opinion that this GM dealer meets and exceeds all the criteria for being a 5-star rated seller and service provider for the Mid-west region.

Sleezy Sales People - Barely Operable Vehicles

by jessicabaca on 03/01/2009

This dealership has the classic stereotypical sleazy sales people and offers barely operable vehicles. My husband and I found what we thought was the perfect vehicle over the internet. The downside was that it was at Green Chevrolet HUMMER in Peoria, which is about 250 miles from where we live. My husband called the dealership and was connected with sales person, Adam Little. My husband told Adam what vehicle he was interested in. My husband also stated that he needed a second reliable vehicle for transportation to get to his cancer treatments. My husband told Adam this seemed like the perfect car & we did not want to waste the trip for an unreliable vehicle. My husband specifically asked if there was anything he needed to know about so we did not waste the trip and that the vehicle would need to make it the 250 miles back. Adam said that there was a donut tire, but they would put a new tire on the car. He even made it sound like they were giving us a deal, 4 tires on the car! Isn't the law for a dealership to sell vehicles with 4 tires? We should have known at this point it was not worth the headache. Adam stated that it was otherwise in sound condition and would make the trip back, no problem. So, we make a 250 mile, 4 & 1/2 hour drive to the dealership. We make this drive with my terminally ill husband, who expected to have to drive home so he did not bring any pain medication. We also made this drive with our 3 children ages 4, 2 & 3 months. We made this long trip to get a car we thought was perfect, to experience this: Adam was so busy closing a BMW deal when we got there, he really didn't want to waste any time on us. Of course, since he already claimed us no other sales person would help us. He showed us the vehicle, handed us the keys. He said "OH yah, there's a leak in the exhaust line so it makes a loud noise." He said ,"Drive it around the block, I'm in the middle of closing a BMW deal." He then went back inside. I was not impressed with his customer service skills.. You don't let one person you are trying to sale a car too know that the deal you are doing right now is much more important than they are. Of course, Adam is not a good sales person and obviously does not know this basic Customer Service rule. So we test drive the vehicle and here is what happens; you push the pedal to the floor and it takes about 3 minutes to get up to 35 mph. Then you get to a stop light & have to do the whole pedal to the floor thing again. The vehicle had an awful burning smell and all kinds of smoke was coming out of the engine. It even started sputtering and putting. There was no way this vehicle was going to make it 50 miles, much less 250 miles back home. We were afraid to even try test driving it on the interstate. I could not believe any human person, even a sales person, would let a terminally ill person drive over 4 hours to come test drive a piece of crap, a vehicle he KNEW was a piece of crap. He probably wanted to try to con us into financing something more expensive, then couldn't waste the time since he was in the middle of his BMW deal. We interrupted his BMW deal, handed him the keys and said "No thanks." The only thing Adam said was "I don't even know what to say." Well I know what to say and it should have been said over the phone before we made the long drive, "You know, this vehicle you are are interested in is NOT what you are looking for. It is not really worth the drive out here. I DO have this vehicle that is just what you need and i can make you a great deal!" If Adam would have done this, he probably could have made an extra sale. Of course, Green Chevrolet obviously does not want to invest in any Sales or Customer Service training for their employees, so Adam does not know how to make a positive sale. Adam, I am a firm believer in Karma. What comes around goes around. It will come back to you. I cannot believe that any respectable dealershi
