Great Staff, excellent deals

This was my first time leasing and I was quite skeptical. However, the staff at Auffenberg VW, especially Jay, was a pleasure to interact with. After talking to him on phone, he was kind enough to come to the dealership on his off-day to take care of us. I ended up having a great deal on a new vehicle. Highly recommended staff and dealership.

A pleasant experience

Jay our salesperson was very well versed about the features of the car and handled the whole transaction very pleasantly. At no point in the process with Jay or finance did we feel pressured to add on any extras. Very happy with the 2023 Taos S although have only put about 90 miles on it in 5 days.

We walked into Auffenberg to check out new VWs. As we walked in the door CJ Berry asked if we needed any assistance. We bought a 2022 Tiguan SE. CJ was great. The most pleasant sales experience you could ask for. If you are interested in a VW give CJ a call.

No pressure & good communication

Dave Runge was a good guy to work with. He always answered our questions honestly. We were looking for a vehicle that was gonna get good gas mileage and not break our budget. He helped us find just the right one. He was even helpful after the sale and stayed in touch w/ us. We are customers for life for sure. A+ job Volkswagon & Dave Runge.

I had a terrible buying experience here. The sales manager personally called me and told me to come in and he would give me the best deal I could get in the St. Louis metropolitan area. Lie #1. After I showed him a quote from another dealership he told me there was no way he could match that price. After I told him that I would go back to the dealership who quoted me, he told me he would "see what he could do". I ended up buying there because it was the end of the day and he was willing to match the other dealer's price. The salesman also told me that they would fill the tires with nitrogen when I came back in for my check up in 30 days. Lie #2. I even had to come back in for service because the windows wouldn't work and he still didn't have the tires filled with nitrogen. After that, I never went back to the dealership. Terrible service, the sales manager was rude, and they treated my time like it wasn't valuable. Go to one of the other VW dealers in the St. Louis area.

I have purchased five vehicles from Auffenberg VW and the last two have been Routans! First one transmission went out at 10k and the second one has been ongoing small problems! It's still under warranty and now the side door will not close/open.Which is the second time it's been in there for door issues! They will not give me a loaner and I have no way to get transportation to and from without one! I'm going to start doing business somewhere else after this! After five vehicle you would think they would want to make it right but they refuse to work with me! Don't do business with Auffenberg plains and simple!

I received a flyer from Mike B. the sales manager for Auffenberg VW. I received a phone call from Dave R. because I had inquired about the offer that was mailed. At first I was skeptical, but I decided to see what could be done to keep my payments the same but get into a new car. Dave and Mike greeted me and made the process easy. It is probably one of the best car buying experiences I have encountered thanks to the staff.

I was greeted by Dave C. "Spaghetti" and he took care of me like I've never been treated before at a dealership. No pressure and he made sure my needs were met with what I was looking for and not what other dealerships or salesmen would have 'pushed' me into. I would highly recommend Dave and Auffenberg VW to all of my friends and family. Thanks again, Dave!!

fast, friendly service

relatively fast and friendly service. have been getting my car serviced there for 30k miles now. no hassles. a bit costly but they're the only dealership on the Illinois side and its not worth the 30 minute drive to save $20.
