Amazing service

I was really pleased with my experience at Lexus of Highland Park.Charles Raslina a sales manager at this location helped a lot especially because he speaks russian [contact info removed]. He was able to find exactly what I was looking for in a matter of few days and was able to provide me with a good deal that I couldn't say no to.For those of you looking for a new or used car I recommend to visit this Lexus dealership.

Charles a dn Mohammed did A+ sales service

I was pleasantly surprised by the A+ sales service in Lexus of Highland Park. Sales representative Charles was able to find an ES 350 of "Autumn Shimmer"(brown) color, exactly as i wanted. He managed the delivery from the neighboring state for me. The quote was totally fine for the decent vehicle like this one. Mohammed Ali explained all features, how to set up the seat position memory, Lexus Android apps, door locks, radio and many more. I am really satisfied. Dreams come true sometimes.

Ask for Peter Roto!!!!!!

Peter Roto was very down to earth and practical with the amount of money I had and could afford for a car. He got me a great deal on a car I am totally in love with! I came with only three days to find a car before I went back to Michigan for college, and he was able to find something that is great in gas and has all the amenities I wanted! I highly recommend you finding him when you want to get a car! He will work his butt off to get you a car that works for you!

Stay far away

My experience with Lexus of Highland Park is an absolute horror story. I saw an L certified LS460L/Ultra Luxury Package which is admittedly a hard find. Mind you I live in New Jersey and usually deal with Lexus of Route 10 andam a Lexus owner many times over for some years. Currently have an LS600HL and an RX350, have had numerous LS460Ls in the past. From my experience in dealing with Lexus of route 10, L Certified means you’re basically getting a new car. They take the 161 point inspection very seriously. I have never had any issue whatsoever. I worked out all the details of the deal via phone/email with a salesman named Richard Spinks. Financing approval etc was all done in advance. I was to fly to Chicago then sign and drive. The car fax had a light front hit listed. No airbags deployed, car able to drive at Time of incident . Based on my prior history with Lexus I would of course assumed that meant all prior damage would be fully repaired and the 161 point inspection completed . Upon arrival at the dealer, what I realized after should’ve been the first red flag was that the car was indoors in the back of the service area nicely Tucked away in a corner. Mr. Spinks noted that this was to keep the dust off the car, my reply was I’m going to drive 13 hours I’m pretty sure it’s going to get dusty but I appreciate the gesture. The interior was immaculate and with the lack of lighting inside the exterior appeared that way as well. After all paperwork was complete myself and a friend began our journey back to New Jersey . Once on the open road and out of the Chicago traffic we noticed a humming noise coming from one of the wheels, soon after we stopped at a rest area to get gas. Once in the daylight the swirling on the black paint was horrific and the bottom of the bumper looked like it had been through a cheese shredder . Thankfully, while accompanied by the humming noise the entire way we made it safely back to New Jersey . The next day I received a thank you email from Jim Magnelli, to which I replied briefly going over my concerns. Shockingly I got no reply . The next day I emailed again and once again no reply . The next day I called the dealership and was able to finagle my way past the receptionist and speak to Mr. Magnelli on the phone. As quickly as I got him he made me aware of that he was not the manager that oversaw this deal and he will have that manager call me back first thing in the morning of course that never happened. At this time I decided to open a ticket with Lexus corporate . We also texted the salesman Rick spanks to which his reply was and this is a direct quote consider yourself lucky you got a rare car for a good deal . For those that have chosen to read this far along I do have all of this documentation and would gladly back it up for anyone reached out to me so that they do not fall victim to this dealership . Lexus corporate instructed me to bring it to a local dealership in New Jersey which I did, that being Lexus of Route 10 as I have dealt with them numerous times in the past . I have never seen a group of men more speechless in my life . The vehicle had three bent rims, a bearing that was completely shot . Tires at 4/32 of tread life along with very cut rate bodywork . Following directions the inspection report performed by this dealership was forwarded to Lexus corporate . Shockingly, and with undescribable disappointment my claim was denied stating outside influence, which in their terms means that it could’ve all happened on the way from Ohio to New Jersey . The service staff at Lexus of Route 10, still in shock said that if anyone at their dealership had ever released the car to a client in the state they would be fired without question and mind you I have never wished unemployment on anyone but to a man like Rick Spinks and the other staff members that were aware of the condition of this car I do wish upon them . The Silverlining to this story is that my history with route 10 and they’re pure sympathy for me They took care of the majority of the repairs for me at a grear cost reduction. Bottom line, lexus corporate and those employed at this “dealership should be ashamed as human beings and it’s a shame they’re allowed to carry the Lexus name

Re:2017 Lexus RX350 !!!!!!! DO NOT SHOP HERE !!!!!!! On 11/11/2016 I purchased a motor vehicle from your dealership (2017 Lexus RX350). Unfortunately, the vehicle has not been satisfactory because a lot of the standard options that come with a base model vehicle are not there, the most important one to me is heated/ventilated seats. There are many other options that i do not wish to list at this time. I have owned Lexus vehicles for the past 20 years and never have i been more upset with a Lexus vehicle purchase before. The sales person i dealt with never went over the vehicle options and lead me to believe that i was purchasing a vehicle that was well equipped and came with many of the standard features and more. Not once did he let me know that the vehicle i was purchasing was missing these options and ask me if i would like to have them added. I feel i have been scammed................ It has now been 1 month since purchasing the vehicle and I usually do not right negative reviews but for this company i want every one to know what a horrible place this is !!!!! I highly DO NOT!!!! recommend purchasing a vehicle from this dealer! Even the owner Benjamin N Nusinow does not care how his business and employees operate. Got scammed into over paying for a vehicle that they ordered for me with some additional options that we wanted on it, and after the vehicle came in it was missing many of the standard options that a regular car comes with and Benjamin N Nusinow and Thomas Covello agreed that it was missing those options and said verbally and via email that they would take care of it, it is now going on a month and they do not reply back to emails or take my calls. Very disappointed how they treat there repeat customers. Obviously they are not interested in repeat business they are just looking to make a quick sale. Just letting future possible customers the experience i had with this company. !!!!!!! DO NOT SHOP HERE !!!!!!! ((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((( UPDATE ............. After many emails and calls to the owner of Lexus of Highland Park he finally responds 30 min after seeing this review, and decides to go back on his word, What a great business man... lol Here is the owners response was. I am sorry that you feel the way that you do. I wanted to accommodate the mistake that you made in ordering the vehicle by finding a third party that would meet your satisfaction in installing heated seats. You have publicly trashed my reputation and my store. Please find another place to service your Lexus. My offer to pay for your heated seats that you failed to order with your vehicle is retracted. Untrustworthy Dealership, Buyer Beware

I dealt with the internet sales manager (Steve Gustafson) over 4 days by phone and email. They provided me a written offer on an official purchase order for a 300H. After getting to an agreeable price I asked for another offer sheet in writing. Low and behold they said their math was wrong on the original offer and the price was actually $2,500 more than what they originally had given me in writing. Absolutely crazy, do not do business with this dealership.

Worst experience. [non-permissible content removed]

Bought a used Lexus IS 250 last thursday with 73k miles next day multiple lights come on dash and vehicle loses power. Took it back and they supposedly fixed the car and put us in a loaner until monday. At this point i want to get a different vehicle from them and get something w/less miles or get my trade-in back and unwind the deal call it good and still be happy. Dealer does not want to work out anything of that sort. Guess being active duty military means northing to these people. So at this point im confused on why they do not want to trade out after 1 day of having this vehicle. My sales guy even said that the deal had already been funded and my trade-in was already paid off (which it was not). Come monday i pick car up and see about trading it in w/another dealer because i just dont trust it after this. So now i drive the car for 2 days in total in just one week and more lights come on again. Take vehicle up there very calmly and politely i dont not want this car and i am not so happy at all with my experience here can you please work with me. They sold car to me 5 days ago for 14,400 and want me to take 13000 for it and only reducing the price of their car by $1000 to $31,999. And they said thats all they can do No More! Mind you this car im looking into purchasing i found 3 alike with half the miles this one has for 28000. I feel they know what is wrong with the car and dont want it back because it will be more to fix. Doesn't make sense why a dealer like would be so unwilling to help a service member and his wife into a reliable vehicle they feel comfortable and safe to drive across the US if need be. I'm not one to write reviews but i feel like this is very wrong! My uncle works for the Federal Trade Commission I told him about what happened to me so hopefully this wont happen to someone else.

Wasted My Time with Dishonesty about Inventory

I stopped in to buy an RX. I was explicit that I needed to take delivery within 2 days, and wanted a specific trim/color combination. All they had to say was that they didn't have it if they didn't have it. Instead, I wasted over an hour, agreed to a price for a car that I thought was in stock, and was told they would let me know the following morning about a delivery time. When I go the call the following morning, the salesperson wanted to give me a choice between 2 cars that could be delivered in 2 weeks or 3 weeks, respectively. I told them I'd just buy an MDX from an honest Acura dealer.

I had an amazing experience at Lexus of Highland Park from start to finish. I made an internet inquiry and Tom C. responded immediately. He started working on a deal and even spent his day off trying to locate the perfect car for me. Everyone working at the dealership was very friendly. Frank, another salesman, was very helpful in explaining the ins and outs of the new car to me. I will definitely be referring friends and family to Lexus of Highland Park.

Kathy W. is EXACTLY the kind of car salesperson I've been longing for! She made shopping for a new IS a fantastic experience. From the moment she greeted me, until the final send-off in my new car, I couldn't have been treated any better. Kathy started by working to understand what car and feature package would best fit my needs. Even though I had taken a test drive elsewhere, she felt that another test would give her a chance to give me HER perspective on the pluses of the car. She was right! When we sat down to talk numbers, she treated me fairly and honestly, with no pressure. Then we negotiated in a friendly way until we were both happy. Then it came time to deliver the car. Another great experience. Great feature training from Kathy's team partner, Mike B. Closing paperwork handled very professionally by Julio. We left very happy. After a minor glitch was brought to Kathy's attention, she handled it perfectly. To me, that's the measure of a great salesperson, and a dealership that understands how to treat its customers. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Kathy W. and the entire team at Lexus of Highland Park! We will be back the next time we are car shopping!

Had a great experience with Gary C. He was extremely efficient, very knowledgeable and courteous. He is the king of follow-up, no question was left unanswered and no detail was overlooked! We had an extensive conversation via email so by the time I went to the dealership everything was ready for my purchase. I received a fair deal for my trade-in and all in all, this was the best car purchase experience I ever had. I would have no problem recommending this place to all my friends and family.

Disappointed

I submitted an online request through Edmunds for pricing and availability information on the Lexus SUV hybrid and never heard back from anyone at this dealership. I thought business was supposed to be bad. If they are too busy for me I can shop somewhere else.
