Awesome car buying experience

I brought my Mazda cx5 from Layla Hill at Autobarn Mazda Evanston. It was an excellent experience working with Layla. She went above and beyond. We had visited a few dealerships but this dealership and the positive experience made us come back. Layla had the right balance of following up and not being pushy. She was very respectful of our choices and decisions and guided us accordingly. At no point did we feel pressured which is not always the case when you are buying a car. We are extremely satisfied with our experience and will strongly recommend this dealership. Layla has been helping us with some questions we have even after the purchase has been made. They truly care about you as a person. Excited for our new car.

Quick, efficient oil change service

The service advisor Oscar Galicia checked me in quickly and efficiently for an oil change & multi-point inspection. He kept me informed by sending a video of the inspection of my car to my smartphone. I waited for my car at the dealership, and this time my car was ready in a reasonable amount of time. (On my last visit I had to wait much longer to have the battery replaced). This time the service was fast and reasonably priced.

A surprise experience

I really have never had a car buying experience that felt good. The moment I was greeted by Eric it felt carefree. How strange. There was zero pressure to make a purchase. He just listened and provided answers for information I requested. It was stunning. Everyone through the process was helpful and worked toward providing me with the information to assist me in any decision.

Good experience with my Service Team, Oscar and Sandy always greets me with a smile and with the upmost respect. always explains what needs to be done and takes care of it in a timely manner. I love it when a Service Team works together as a Service Team. NUFF SAID!

Service work good. Other. Not so…

Car was delivered wet, not washed. Dirt/road splash’s they were significant in size still on car body, even dirt/dust from using my washer fluid and wipers to clean windshield all still on windshield. 75% of car not wiped dry. I thought a car wash was part of service. Not car wet. Also. All interior car Bluetooth connectivity was gone and I had to reconnect my cell phone and systems all over again. Why!?

I just came to check out what kinda cars this dealership has but ended up buying Mazda first time to own one so far it’s a nice ride . I had Ivan as salesman he spent sometime negotiating price but on the end great deal can’t complain!

Excellent Dealership!

I cannot say enough about the staff at this dealership. From the salesperson, Chris, to the Sales Manger Mo, to the finance manager Robert who all went above and beyond to ensure that the car we were looking for met all our needs and wants. We first came there in July looking for a safe and reliable vehicle for our daughter attending medical school. Chris and Mo guided us in the direction of the CX-5 with all the safety features we desired. We ended up with the carbon edition CX-5. It is gorgeous and our daughter was and is still ecstatic with her new car. The finance manager Robert Hamilton guided us through the purchasing process with ease, understanding and guidance. It was seamless. Fast forward, we were looking to purchase a vehicle for myself and where else would we go but The Autobarn Mazda. I now have a spectacular CX5 that I absolutely love. It was an easy decision and was based on the positive experiences we had with the staff at this location. Thank you all for such a positive experience.

I’ve had my Mazda 3 serviced at the Mazda of Evanston service dept. ever since I bought it 12 years ago, with no complaints or returns to have the car properly serviced.. During that time I’ve dealt with three separate Service Writers each of whom did an outstanding job of professionally working with me, giving me valuable information, answering all my questions clearly, and fulfilling various requests I made to them. Each one was courteous, well trained and knowledgeable. The current man I ask for when I bring my car in for servicing , and whom I trust and found to be truthful, experienced and dependable, is Oscar Galacia.. He excels at his job and represents his employers in a consistently positive manner. He also works extremely well with the technicians.

A very good car buying experience

My sales rep, Jeffrey Williams, did a fantastic job to make sure I got what I needed. I traded in two cars for one top-of-the-line SUV, in time for winter. He came to my house to pick up the second car so I didn’t have to worry about getting it to the dealership. Most things went smoothly. I paid the balance in cash, which cut out a lot of paperwork. There was a slight mixup with the mileage statements on the two trade-ins, but that was resolved via email the next day. I found everyone at the dealership to be friendly and helpful. I also didn’t feel pressured to buy add-ones I didn’t want, as happened at my previous dealer. My only (minor) complaint is that the car included a set of black lug nuts (a $175 option), but they had not been installed when I picked up the car. I had to go back a few days later and pay $33 + tax for the installation. I know that’s not a huge amount, but I felt the installation should have been free.

Was shopping around for a Mazda CX30 base trim. Giovann Raymond was able to help with purchase. Shown diff options ( lease/ purchase/rates). Surprisingly pleasant experience. Finance guys was also really understanding about the limitations we had. Thanks for a good experience.

They did all they could to get me financed. I worked with Chris Reis. He was great. His manager, John was absolutely fantastic. He went above and beyond for me. The rep sitting next to Chris, Lewis helped me get insurance for my vehicle. The guy who I signed my paperwork with was also pleasant. The experience was good.

This was the 2nd Mazda CX5 I have purchased from Lewis Belcher with The Autobarn Mazda Evanston - and I ONLY will use Lewis going forward! Lewis is extremely professional and knowledgeable about the products, but more than that, he's so easy to work with. I never felt pressured into purchasing a car, or to make a quick decision. Lewis was with me every step of the way, answering all my questions. The first time I purchased a Mazda through Lewis, he was so memorable that when I needed to go back 3 years later to either re-finance or trade-up, I immediately thought of him. When I gave him a call, I was so surprised to learn he not only remembered me from 3 years prior, but was able to meet with me asap to help me get my situation figured out. Lewis, along with all the team members at Autobarn Evanston, are experts! I have told all my family & friends about them, and would encourage anyone to use Lewis and his team at Autobarn Evanston!
