Green Chevrolet

by cmal20 on 05/24/2010

My wife and I recently purchased our first "minivan" from Green's Cheverolet & Chrysler. We had a great experience there and received nother but top notch customer service, especially from Mike Nemeth and Cedric. We will definitely be going back for our future vehicle purchases. Green's has a great sales staff and defintely work hard to satisfy their customers.

Wonderful service

by stangin on 04/12/2010

I would like to say that we had an amazing experience at Green Chevrolet, especially in dealing with John Brenny. He was WONDERFUL :) I will definitely return to John, and will tell all my friends to go see him if they ever need to purchase a vehicle. On behalf of the Vroman family, thank you John and Green CC!

Wonderful Service!!!!

by dc09 on 04/11/2010

I recently purchased a new SUV from Green, and was amazed at the wonderful service I received. The salesman, Ben, was very knowledgeable and accommodating. I let him know what I was looking for and he gave me great choices of cars. I was impressed with the amount of inventory available. The finance manager, Rod, was great! He answered all of my questions and was very patient with me. The process was very easy, and the service greatly exceeded my expectations!! I definitely will be purchasing my next car here, and recommend Green to those shopping for a new car!

Couldn't be Happier

by moparsean on 04/09/2010

My wife and I have bought several vehicles from Green, two full size trucks, and two trailblazers. The staff was prompt and courteous through every transaction. Not only did they go out of their way to work around our schedules, they also made the sales/trades as effortless as any vehicle transaction I have been a part of. When I was looking for a specific truck, they were able to track it down and ship it in promptly, and without hesitation or hassle. I have, and will continue to recommend them to anyone in search of an -honest- deal, and that's hard to come by in new or used cars... I always shop around dealers when I'm in the market for something new, but over the last few years I've been more than pleased to end up at Green!

I will DEFINITELY buy my next car here!

by khoke2010 on 04/08/2010

I purchased my new SUV last week, the guys at Greeen made the whole experience easy and painless. I found the vehicle I want on the internet, they called me a few minutes later letting me know that they didn't have that particular model in stock but would be able to find it for me... an hour later it was found!!!! I filled out the credit information online and almost everything was ready to go when I came to the dealership 2 days later... I was only there long enough to sign the lease paperwork and have an overview of my new car... PAINLESS!!!

Had a great experience!

by ytram82 on 04/01/2010

I bought a car from Green a few months ago and had a great experience. The sales guy, Greg, was super helpful and easy to work with. He was very patient while I looked over my options and listened to what I said to help me find what I was looking for. They had a huge selection on the lot to pick from too, which was nice! All in all, it was exactly what I wanted it to be, a hassle free experience where I got the car I was looking for at a good deal. I will definitely buy my next car there when the time comes!

A Good Experience

by sethe83 on 04/01/2010

I purchased a 2008 Chevrolet Impala from Green Chevrolet Chrysler in December of 2008. I traded-in a 1998 Isuzu Rodeo, which was in very poor condition. I had a wonderful experience with Green Chevrolet. I learned of Green Chevrolet from my fiance's father, who lives in the Quad Cities and previously purchased an SUV from Green Chevrolet. As such, I drove all the way from Chicago to purchase my vehicle from Green Chevrolet. Green Chevrolet gave me a great value on my trade-in vehicle (more than I originally anticipated). In addition, Green Chevrolet worked with me on finding the right vehicle (I had a specific color and style in mind). The finance process was easy, and Chad, my salesman, thoroughly explained the sale documents which I had to sign. I hate to shop. And I am not that into cars. To be honest, I was dreading buying a car. However, in working with Green Chevrolet, the entire process was painless.

Don't Go Green they(certain dealers) Lie about everything

by kramnos13 on 01/22/2010

We just purchesed a new vehicle from green c.c. and we love the vehicle but the experince was horriable and a week later we still are having issues. We were promised things that we did not get by the slimy sales men , we were given a car with almost no gas we got 29 miles before we had to put as in it. I understand because of fuel "cost" you only do new cars but you would think that if someone just spent over 20k and the vehicle wasnt even a year old yet it would be good businuess to atleast give your customer a half a tank of gas. I know someone who got a lot less expensive car from them and got a full tank of gas( maybe it was the dealer then being cheap ). Also when we test drove it the car said driver side rear tire low the salesmen said he get that checked out. Turns out as of this morning when my wife had to have someone come to fix it at the house there was a big piece of metal in it and the tire guy said that it highly unlikley that we drove over it this short amount of time if it was already low before we got it, so that means they didnt check the tires and just kept putting air in it or they knew about it and chose not to fix and hope we wouldnt notice. So do not go to green to get your car unless you want bad service and like being promised things and not get them. Also they "lost" the spare key and the clicker to unlock the doors so this whole time we have had one car untill we can get back there with are own gas and time so they can program a new one in the mean time everytime we unlock the door the alarm goes off since it isnt the original key.. NICE!! Bottom line dont go to green unless you like being ****** around.

Beware of Green Chrysler & Chevrolet

by todd49 on 01/15/2010

We all know the reputation car salesmen have as being deceitful, dishonest and just plain slimy people. Well, the boys at Green C.C. in E. Moline Illinois have honed this skill to perfection. I drove 75 miles to their business to see this car and of course was treated like I was a long lost relative. I test drove the car and then had the pleasure of talking money with them. Understand, I am not experienced, nor savvy at negotiating but thought I did okay with the deal. The handshakes and congratulations flowed like cheap wine, and I left feeling pretty good about the whole experience. I left a $500 down payment and was on my way. I had not yet worked out my finances so I did not take the new car with me. A few days later when my wife and I met with our finance manager, he asked me a bunch of questions and said you need to put this offer on the table: The price we agreed on including tax title and license - the "out the door price" if you will. The day after Christmas my kids and I ventured through a snow storm and slick roads to Green C.C. Once we got there we were greeted politely, waited a lengthy period of time, then escorted to an office, not being told where we were going or who we were talking to. There was a gentleman in the office who seemed a little surprised when I asked him what role he played in the process. He informed me he was the finance person and turned out being the easiest person to deal with in the whole process. I then laid my final offer on the table (the price we agreed upon including the tax, title and license). The previous offer did not include the TTL. Well the finance guy got flustered and went to get Josh, the sales manager. I'd dealt with Josh briefly during my previous visit, and his disposition was notably different than previous. He seemed mildly annoyed that I was wanting to continue to negotiate, He showed me the paper I signed agreeing to the price and said there was nothing he would do since I had already agreed to this price. He became even more irritated when I told him the paper I signed was not a legal document. Then he told me the original asking price of the car was well below the NADA price. He became visibly upset when I told him the NADA price was irrelevant to the negotiations and the real number I was interested in was what he paid for the vehicle. He refused to give me this number and went into this drivel about it costing him $1800 to sell each and every vehicle on the lot and that he would not budge at all on the price. This would have been the perfect time to get up and walk out, but I guess I'm just too passive, plus I didn't have a second car I was looking at. As I reluctantly signed the papers I realized the $500 down payment I made earlier did not appear anywhere on the paperwork. When I brought this to their attention they did scrambled to figure out why and got the situation resolved. Personally, I don't think it was an accident. We got a few miles down the road and realized the owners manual that was there when I test drove the car was no longer there. We returned to the dealer and asked the salesman, Rex, if he could locate it. Well, as one might expect he could not find it. But, he told me he now had a project to work on and he would definitely get one for even if he had to go to the Toyota dealership to get one. He continued to assuring me he would get one even as I was walking out the door. Well, as I suspected, I never heard a word from him and ordered my own from Ebay. As I drove my new car I had a few concerns and took the vehicle to the local Toyota dealership. The tire pressure light was on continuously and the mechanic told me there were no tire pressure sensors in any of the tires. Knowing that Green CC had put on new tires, I was baffled as to why the TPMS sensors were gone. I emailed Green CC and got a response back assuring me Rex would look into the problem and get back to me right away. Well, I've never hear

If you like a fair and honest business, run because this isn't it.

by maggie85 on 10/16/2009

They will pressure you to get an extended warranty. They will tell you the extended warranty only cost you an extra 5 bucks a month, then you get home and read the contract and the extended warranty is 3,000 dollars. Stupid of me not to read it word for word before I left. They are tricky and only want your money!! [violative content deleted]!!

You have got to be kidding

by blake9 on 12/22/2008

We go to Green Chevrolet to buy a vehicle and their vehicle is like gold and yours is like a piece of crap and they will not come down on price of theirs because it is GOLD and book your vehicle at $2000.00 dollars when it is worth more then that. If I was them I would have never came back to let the me know the price of the trade-in and just said we can't help you because of what they said.

Run, don't walk away!

by mrj3078 on 03/26/2008

Very untrustworthy. If you insist on dealing with Green, watch them like a hawk. Double check contracts. Make sure price and interest rates quoted to you by sales person match those on paper work.
