Pics don't match the car sold and they don't care!

Over the years, I've regularly purchased cars online and traveled to get them. Over time, I've had mostly wonderful experiences doing so. However, with AutoNation Honda O'Hare, I've had the opposite. When initially reviewing the multiple photos of a RAV4 they were selling on Cars.com, it looked like a pretty decent car for the money. After calling to inquire, I agreed to purchase the vehicle and travel to get it. Well AFTER I signed the purchase agreement and purchased a plane ticket...the dealer texted me a picture of the same car with a significant amount of paint missing next to the hood (looked PERFECT in the photos I had seen previously). Even though I signed the purchase agreement based on pictures that clearly showed the same vehicle with NO damage to the paint, they refused to fix the damage or budge on price - NOT A PENNY! So, I got to eat my $400 plane ticket and continue shopping for my college son's car. Please think twice before doing business with this dealer. They clearly do not care about the customer or doing the right thing. Needless to say, I was pretty surprised when this dealership, after completely misleading me into buying a plane ticket, wouldn't even consider a small reduction in price to deal with a car with a known factory defect causing the paint not to stick to the primer.

Perfect vehicle at a great price

Found a 2023 Mazda CX-5 with under 2K miles, great price (below standard average for that vehicle). Sales contact Rich was friendly, knowledgable and eager to help. The only glitch was dealer was unable to take wire transfer for payment so we had to return another day once bank account transfer happened--could have been avoided without implied need to snap up the car asap. Overall good experience.

We chose AutoNation Honda O'Hare initially because I found their website very user friendly. When I reached out, Lesly responded immediately and from there, my car buying experience was very pleasant and stress free. Was it expensive? Sure, but car service is expensive. I had a lot done. They were able to take me in right away and were finished surprisingly quickly. While they were working, they kept me informed, including sending me a video of what they found.

Terrible experience with Salesman whose name I will not mention. I was given a price and it was not honored. . I signed the paperwork trusting their word on the price. Come to find out I was sold a car for $6000 more. Salesman said he mentioned the price change . Total lie.

Purchased a Corolla 2014 Used from them and had trouble since Day 1. At the time of sales they sale we do hundreds of inspections but can't figure out the issues which are in front of the eyes.
