Stellar Service Department

All the service and sales staff I encountered were friendly, professional and helpful. The service department was very clean and organized. The service rep I talked to explained the services and answered all my questions in a satisfactory manner. My vehicle was completed in about the timeframe estimated to me. I am happy with the service provided, and I will return to the dealer again.

Where do I start. This dealership is amazing! 1. My work is always done excellently! 2. Everyone is genuinely friendly! 3. This dealership uphold the values that I live by- integrity, treating their employees well, supporting their community. 4. I bought my 2017 Encore almost three years ago and my sales gal Deanna Hattula and I have become friends beyond that purchase which is amazing to me. This time I was not able to go to lunch but usually when I bring my car in Deanna and I do that, but instead she was able to come down and talk for a bit. What dealership continues a relationship three years after purchasing a vehicle! Amazing and very special to me!

GMC Yukon XL Loose Steering

Lino, Service/Parts Dir along with Kurt, Senior Service Tech collaborated with Ed, Dir of Parts to develop a cost effective solution which resolved my problem in a timely, one time visit. The Marquardt Family have instilled on all their employees that we the customer are family. Kurt & Dan Marquardt are caring on the way their Father treated his friends/customers. I never had the pleasure of meeting him, but knew of him from organizations and meet Mrs. Marquardt several times. I have owned and leased 5 vehicles from the Marquardt family! The Service Department at Marquardt is outstanding! I had a little glitch with my new 2015 GMC Terrain. They worked diligently in getting it fixed correctly. It was not a vehicle issue-it was an On Star issue-not their fault but they took care of it very quickly. Not only do they know their vehicles-they are genuinely concerned, kept me up to date with phone calls, got me to and from work - all without missing a step. Thank you Lino, Alex, Justin and the technician who took care of my vehicle-you are all awesome!

I was shopping for a new car and went to numerous dealerships over a 2 month period. All of them were a nightmare!!! I just about gave up buying a new car but decided to stop at Marquardt of Barrington. From the time I walked in, I was treated with respect, smiles, and genuine customer service! From Carie, Novi (my salesman-the best!) Frank and even the ones I don't know their names-they are all incredible! I stopped there several times before buying and still never felt any pressure and they were very patient. I love my new 2015 GMC Terrain! Thank you for your outstanding service!

This is the third vehicle I have purchased / leased from Tim McIntyre and as I mentioned before, he is the best salesman I have ever worked with. Best as in accommodating, helpful, not pushy and willing to provide me with the information I ask for and allow me to make my own decisions without influence. He will guide me in what he thinks works best, but ultimately allows me to make decisions without pressure. I decided to NOT lease a Lexus and return to a Buick solely for this fact.

It's never "fun" to service my vehicle but I love coming to Marquardt and they are always absolute professionals and are very fair in every way. Everyone is kind. The service was fairly priced and I had a coupon. I didn't have to wait too long. It is now far from my house, but totally worth the drive. You cannot discount good, honest service because you cannot trust everyone. I plan to purchase my next car from here also.
