Drive train woes

onThe overall experience was as expected. The check in process was friendly, courteous and professional. Timeliness for the evaluation and fulfillment of the work order was very reasonable. It appears that the research, development, engineering at GM and the decision to utilize a full synthetic fluid was not given it's due diligence.

onI was very happy a Trax came in while I was waiting on a trailblazer. We are very happy with the vehicle. I’m not happy with the quality of service at any level. We had a lease to turn in, so we sought options early. We were told a trail blazer was coming in before our lease so we had our current vehicle evaluated, agreed on cost and payment and put a deposit on a trail blazer. When the trailblazer came in, we were told there was new management and our vehicle and original agreement needed to be “re-assessed” because the old sales people “did what ever they wanted” and were fired. This made me very anxious, but we were able to come to an agreement on a price and payment for the Trax. Finance was also a nightmare. First they put the wrong Bank on my paperwork, then their system didn’t work properly and they “forgot” to put sales tax on my paperwork. Because of their mistake, they tried getting me to pay more money/higher payments, not what we agreed or signed to. When I talked to my sales person Nate, who was there for all conversation with both managers when the deals were made on the trail blazer and the Trax, he claimed he knew nothing about the reasoning they were now trying to charge me more for the sales tax on my lease, when it was a full discussion with management the fist time I was in, because another dealer was going to give me a better price. He told me the other companies finance would change the deal because they couldn’t give me the full credit the other dealer was going to give me because it was a lease, not a trade and the sales tax would need to be paid. They probably knew this trick because they tried to do it to me after they said they were being transparent with me and WOULD NOT change anything on our agreement in finance, like they claimed the other dealer would do. After that was all said and done, I was still sent additional paperwork to sign because they forgot to have me sign it the 3 other times I was in the dealership to sign paperwork. Not happy with this dealership or service at all. I’ve bought a lot of cars for myself or family and this was by far, the worst experience I’ve ever had. The company is very deceitful!

Within 24 hours, not only had we SEALED the deal but the car was DELIVERED from Vidalia to Roswell, GA. . AMAZING dealership. AMAZING team!

onTook vehicle in for an oil change a lube and tire rotation I happened to mention about a continuing check engine light appearing then diapering, unlike past dealerships we took it to; a mechanic here diagnosed the problem and it was corrected in a very timely manner.

onWe didn't purchase there but when we had problems while in Vidalia we drove into the dealership and we were immediately met by Dana with Service. He was so nice and assured us they would take care of us as we were very upset with the transmission problem. They had us back on the road in about an hour in a loaner car, kept us updated while they kept and repaired our vehicle. I have never been treated as nice at any other dealership. If we decide to purchase another GMC(?) we will definitely do business with Paul Thigpen.
