BAIT & SWITCH

by ZILLA on 04/21/2019

I bought a used car & complained at the closing an item / Dealer fee / $599.00 was improper. They would not remove it. I am in the complaint process with GA Dept of Law, Consumer Protection Unit , who on their website has a complete opinion regarding this ( all sales fees must be listed & a link to initiate the complaint process. I am over 65 & also contend they took advantage of a senior citizen which is also a box to check on their form. I am confident I will have $599.00 refunded.

High-pressure, bait-and-switch.

by Pete7154 on 03/11/2018

I thought these "bad old days" were long gone. Well, they live on at Nalley. My wife went in with an offer from the website. They said they did not have that particular car - then said they never had it - and tried to get her to go for a truly terrible offer. She thanked them for their time and tried to leave and was literally chased to her car by the salesperson. It was like a scene from an old comedy, only it wasn't funny. It was pathetic. There are lots of Toyota dealers in Atlanta. I advise giving this one a miss.

[non-permissible content removed]

by Hghlnderntsld on 02/21/2017

I came here after I was told they had a used car I saw on line. I was there within an hour and told they no longer had the car. Lie #1. I was then told they were giving $5500 off the highlander so they could do as good on a new one as a used. Also, I brought a friend and we were going to hope for a better price by buying matching Highlander's for our wives. Seems reasonable. We found our cars and then off to negotiations. First offer came and we received $2000 off MSRP not the $5500 promised. Lie #2. We immediately called them out. Then a long wait later he came back with the $5500 off. We immediately called him out on offering us the Standard rebate in the southeast right now and no additional incentive for buying two cars or anything else. The sales manager then came over and said he couldn't give us a better price because we were not in his target marketing area. Lie #3. Maybe my money's not green because I live in north Georgia. Also, did I mention we were 1 cash buyer and 1 needing very little financing? Nest the general manager comes over to ask where we want him to be on price. We told him. He told us the put a protective coating on the cars, they came with 2 years "free" maintenance (listed on the price sheet as costing like $499) and their cars were more well equipped with things like dual USB ports for rear seating. He said a bunch of other stuff too. Lies #3 through I lost could. I told him cars are massed produced one assembly lines, a process I have seen and am somewhat familiar with. I asked him if his dealership had a special assembly line!!! He went for final pricing and came back with another $250 off. Let me tell you we were not happy after wasting 4+ hours. We knew the USBs were standard and that the free maintenance he was charging us for was free on all new Toyotas. [non-permissible content removed] Lies from start to finish. Save yourself some time and avoid this dealership at all cost. I will say our salesman Christian was nice enough and seems to be at the mercy of all the [non-permissible content removed] surrounding him. We went to Cobb County Toyota and closed a deal that night which we were very happy with. Thanks Jason and Rob at CCT.

A mixed impression from Nalley Toyota Roswell Sales

by aatony on 11/03/2016

I have a mixed impression from purchasing a new vehicle from Nalley Toyota Roswell. I decided to award overall three stars. If you are on the market for a new vehicle and plan to shop at Nalley Roswell – here is my experience and advice. Mr. Vance Fite is a great Sales Professional. Yes, I capitalized “Professional”. Courteous, informative, attentive, and provided timely service in arranging appraisal of my vehicle, scheduled a test drive of a new one, guiding through the paper work. If you want to have good experience ask for Mr. Vance Fite to work directly. Mr. Fite supports Mr. Donald Law who is in the sales management. I had prompt email communication with Mr. Law, got excellent quotes in writing, and am very satisfied with his role in my purchase. Now, not so good part that soured my whole experience. I strongly recommend against working with Mr. Matthew Cohen. I was very disappointed from his sales style to the point that I was about to stand up and leave their dealership forever. Sent email with my short feedback to sales management and Mr. Balog, General Manager, with no response yet. Summary: Please do prior online research if you want to buy a new or a used car! There are so many resources out there. I used several pricing sources and the main one – Consumer Report new car pricing. Really helped! Get quotes from multiple dealerships. Do shop – it is your money! So, I got the price for my new car that I wanted. I got the value for my trade in for $200 less that I planned. However, I will not be returning to their sales department. Hence three stars. Haven’t tried their service department, but I am doubt that I would be going there.

fast transaction, clean facility

by LarryS12378 on 12/10/2015

We previously visited several sellers and knew the type of vehicle we wanted. Our salesman, AJ Nijad, was very helpful in pointing out features, test driving and answered all questions. Low pressure transaction. We were able to meet with the credit manager, Charles Wang, who also made finished the transaction shortly. Dealership sales & service seemed like they have it together.

Devoted services

by Barbara5323 on 11/25/2015

As a firt-time buyer, I asked Nalley Toyota Roswell to help me find an efficient and trustworthy car. I had seen about 4-5 different dealers and was turned away every time. Not only did Nalley Toyota Roswell help me find an efficient car, but a very luxurious one too. My monthly rate was reasonable and I was able to drive out with the car on the same day! I was treated extremely well with respect and integrity. I will never forget my wonderful experience there and I recommend Nalley Toyota Roswell to all first-time buyers!!!

Vehicle Sold after my financing was approved

by misled7 on 10/23/2015

I found vehicle on Nalley Toyota website. Spoke with Salesman and sent in finance app online. They called me back and said financing was approved and vehicle was ours. On our way to dealership I received a phone call that vehicle had just been sold. This is after my financing was in place. I now have a hit on my credit report for a vehicle that was already sold. Awful experience. They ask if they could help me with another vehicle and I said no that I would look elsewhere and their final response was "okay-good luck".

Hands Down, the Worst Experience I've Ever Had

by Jllewi2103 on 01/27/2015

I went into the Nalley Toyota of Roswell, off Alpharetta Highway, last evening to purchase a car. After spending 2 hours there, I was shown a car "in my price range." I test drove it, had my credit ran, and was about to decide on how long the purchase length would be for, when the sales associate told me he had told me the wrong price. Without any offer for an apology, just threw his hands up and said he's only human and worked a lot of hours. My boyfriend went to speak with the GM at the front desk, to see if he would do anything. He said the same as the assoc. I called Asbury Automotive group, who gave me to Customer Service, and requested the GM call me to try and rectify. The GM called me today and proceeded to tell me that he never met us last night, then accused me of aggressive language to his sales assoc. and that he as the GM, wouldn't of even sold me a car. I didn't even speak to the assoc., only enough to tell him we were leaving. And like that, we walked out.

Best place to buy a new or used car.

by 4guth49 on 01/15/2015

We love Nalley Toyota of Roswell. I recently purchased a Toyota Sienna and it was a great experience. The salesman was knowlegable and did not pressure us. The manager is great, and you can feel the good vibe there. The transaction was easy and quick right through financing. This is the 4th car we have purchased here (2 used and 2 new). I highly recommend this dealership to anyone.

Bait and Switch

by smokymtn43 on 01/11/2015

I was looking to purchase from Nalley Toyota but got a price quote much higher than the Edmunds Price Promise of $24,865. I requested the OTD price from internet manager Jason Brown who said it was $29,986. He said that included sales tax for Tennessee, which I know is $1784.55 if Nalley is allowed to collect it, and window tint, which I did not request and does not show as an included option on the website listing. Apparently the dealer fees and tint are outrageous. I contacted him about the price difference and he said, "No problem, let me know if anything changes." With that attitude I will be buying elsewhere. What's the use of them participating in the Price Promise program if they're no going to honor it?

Highly recommend Nalley Toyota of Roswell

by goarmyfootball on 12/10/2014

I recently purchased a new 2015 Highlander from Nalley Toyota of Roswell. I can't say enough about how impressed I was with the experience. I had shopped around Atlanta for a few weeks searching out dealers and researching the best deal on a new Highlander. My sales advisor, Jay, was great and very knowledgeable about the vehicle. I also found Nalley's website to be the most straight forward and transparent in terms of inventory, descriptions, photos and pricing. Jay was very accommodating in helping me find the right vehicle over the course of about 4 hours. When it came down to the purchase, Jay was very low pressure and the dealership honored all of its up front advertised pricing which (during Toyota-thon) was well below what I had received from TrueCar. After having shopped around at several dealers and online, Nalley also gave me the strongest offer on my trade in (closest to KBB valuation). Very happy with the whole experience. I look forward to testing out the service center. My wife purchased a Lexus a few years ago from Nalley Lexus in Smyrna and the experience has been similar.

Great Experience!

by lyle9 on 11/02/2014

My car was totaled so it was a trying experience, but because of Edmunds.com and the great service I received from Rod Ramos (Sales), Greg Campbell (General Manager) and Jason Cruz (Finance Manager), the tension was relieved. Edmunds.com gave me a great discount certificate that I took to Nalley Toyota of Roswell, GA and I received a flawless, no haggle transaction. I am very pleased with my car and would recommend them to any one in need of a car. Great job Edmunds.com and Nalley Toyota of Roswell, GA. Lyle

Excellent Service

by C_J_P on 08/21/2014

I was very pleased with the service at Nalley. My salesman, Jason was knowledgeable and was great at explaining all the options and accessories of my new Avalon. The finance department also was great, explained the finance options and I got a great deal. I was very pleased with the whole process. From the time I walked in the door from the time I was handed the keys was no more than an hour and a half. This was my forth new Toyota, and the best experience yet.

Stay away from Nalley.

by max1205 on 03/30/2014

Bought a Prius in January. Negotiated a price for the car and for my trade in. A month later I got my first bill. Balanced owed was about $4,000.00 more than what we all agreed to. I made an appointment with the G.M. and went in. When doing the original paper work I asked for a copy of everything with my signature on it. In this meeting they are showing me all kinds of paper work I didn't get copies of. One I remember signing. The finance guy pointed at the bottom number and asked if thats what I agreed to pay for the car ? I said yes so he asked me to sign. I didn't care how they got to the number so I didn't read it all first. My bad. They snuck my trade in above it so I got nothing for my car. They agreed to pay me $4,000 for it.. They stole my car. Since I signed it it's legal. The only recourse I have is this. I can't say it loud enough, DON'T EVER DO ANY BUSINESS WITH NALLEY> PERIOD!!!It wasn't like the sales guy took advantage of me. They all did. They all knew what the other was doing. It's a game they play. I was told Nalley is owned by a corporation. Other dealerships are family owned. Families care about their name and being respected in the community. Corp. owned could care less. There are plenty of dealerships to buy or service a car at. Tell everyone you know to stay away from Nalley.

Great Experience

by Satisfied88 on 03/27/2014

I had a great experience at this dealership. I drove 200 miles to look at specific vehicle at this dealership. The salesperson was not pushy at all and answered all of my questions honestly. She was awesome! I bought the vehicle for the price that I was willing to pay. It was the best car buying experience I have ever had. I am sure I will be back.
