onPleasant experience everyone encountered At Riverside Ford was very friendly and Professional. All the years of buying a new vehicle this is the first time I ever had to pay full sticker price very frustrating.

Tune / Idle Repair

onThe whole repair experience seems to have changed once the car was dropped off after sitting with the Service/Shop Director for over an hour. Add to that the outrageous cost and/or double labor to perform what ended up a routine diagnostic tune of 8 plugs (2 Coil Packs not 8) and 8 Fuel Injectors. After receiving the car back a call was placed the following morning to the General Manager to voice my sheer distaste of this experience on 8/1/23 at 9:28 am. After being told I will call you right back, I have yet to hear from her. It is now 8/9/23 at 9:48 pm. The writing of this review. In closing, that about sums it up when the General Manager of the dealerships blows you off. I could add much more and every detail, buy why bother one has to ask themselves?

Service Techs Not Qualified, Fords have Quality Problems

onBought 5 Fords here. 6 service problems: 1- 2010 Fusion - after air bag recall repair no dash knobs worked, dealer said "not our problem" but grudgingly repaired after much arguing. 2 - 2010 Escape battery died, svc tech charged and said no elec problems but battery dead again next day. 3 - 2019 Ranger temp control stopped working under warranty, TSB said "to avoid repeat failure replace housing", tech did not replace housing and failed again 4 mos later after warranty expired costing $$$ and taking over 2 weeks to repair. 4 - 2019 Escape delivered new with dead battery, replacement battery failed 30 mos later while under warranty. 3 days to replace 2nd battery. 5 - 2019 Ranger battery failed while under warranty. Took one week to replace battery. 6 - 2019 Ranger windshield broke during 1st few months due to mfg problem/stress/temp fracture, not covered under warranty. Courtesy ride often not available. Not uncommon for "Quick Lane" oil changes to take 3 hrs or longer. Dealer and Ford Dearborn never replies to calls or emails.

onNot a very good experience. The new staff are not knowledgeable of warranty. Told us a service was covered under warranty. We declined the service because we did not have time to wait. When paid for oil change was told service we declined was not covered under warranty. Good thing we did not have time for service. We could not find our vehicle after paying. My husband kept asking where our vehicle was..finally new staff asked if we wanted him to get vehicle. In past friendly warm atmosphere in service department. The only good experience we had was with Cory. Cory did an excellent job. Cory very professional and knowledgeable as always.

onI've lived in Macon nearly 50 years. I've owned 21 cars/trucks and have never been able to make a deal with Riverside Ford. I'm in the market for a truck now. Against my better judgement, I decided to give them another try. In typical fashion, they tried to screw me yet again! I was told twice (one of those times immediately after the salesman verified with the sales manager) that the truck I was interested in could be sold to me for between $55k and $56k. This was a slightly better than expected price and I began to think maybe Riverside had turned over a new leaf. I thought about it for two days and decided to go buy the truck. I showed up at the stealership and made my offer of $55k. The salesman acted like he genuinely expected the deal to be accepted. Well, shortly after he took my offer to the sales manager, he returned only to tell me that the manager had made a "mistake" (twice) two days prior when he quoted my price. And instead the price was $68k. Yes, $13k more!..a 23% increase over what the manager had said less than 48 hours earlier. It's just classic bait-and-switch! Do yourself a huge favor and just avoid [non-permissible content removed].

First oil change

onGot my first oil change in my new mustang on Friday. Devin Daye checked me in. He was very polite and knew what he was doing. He told me it would be awhile and I didn’t mind waiting. During that time I heard and saw him deal with several costumers. He keep a positive and friendly attitude with every costumer. I’m glad I bought my car from Riverside Ford. Thanks for the help.
