2024 Toyota Highlander

We recently purchased a 2024 Toyota Highlander Limited AWD at AutoNation Toyota Thornton Road in Lithia Springs and worked with Andre who provided excellent service. Dishonest service writers

Scheduled 2nd ATF service for my vehicle at 113K miles (prior ATF service was done by a different Toyota dealer at 75K miles). I made sure that AutoNation had all the details (mileage, age, prior service records,etc) before the appointment. I drove for an hour only to be told by the service writer that they do not do ATF service on vehicles past 100K miles. They want to sell you a new car, hoping that it breaks down soon, so they could sell you another.

Good Experience with Deonte

Bad Customer Service

The service rep ( the guy inside the Toyota service garage) I was assigned to someone that seemed he did not want to work that day. I asked how long the wait was for a Diagnostic for my car , and said 1hr or so.. After 2 hrs later , finally a Diagnostic that I had to ask the questions, the rep didn't even want to explaine what my car problem was. He just handed me the paper and said if I wanted it fixed. No explanation of what was going on. I never want to deal with this man. Only saw the first name of Courtney...

Not a good time.

I was traveling for work and had to have my car towed here because of a misfire. Not only did I have to have a car with less than 10,000 miles on it towed, the staff didn’t seem concerned with making sure I had transportation. After I finally got a rental, I was ghosted. I needed to leave the area for work and was not able to communicate with the service advisor on when I could expect my car to be done. I would call and leave messages that would not get returned. I would call to speak to managers and be put on hold for over an hour. My car was dropped of on 11/22 and after spending hours and countless phone calls trying to reach someone, I finally got a manager to get my service advisor to call me back on 11/28. No one could tell me what was wrong with my vehicle and then when they finally did they said they were waiting on a part and not sure when it would be in. Prior to that, the receptionist (who was the only nice person that seemed to care how I was being treated) said the part was ordered and was there waiting to be installed. Everyone had a different story. After the service advisor was called out on this information , all of the sudden that part was there and my car would be ready the next day. On top of all of the this, then rental I was provided had bad tires and the tps light was on within 20 min of me having the vehicle. I had to go to another Toyota dealership to have in my replaced because Toyota care would only put on a spare. I spent 4 hours waiting to have a tire replaced while I had my two dogs. Another dealership another problem. Finally, I was called saying my car was ready so I had to take a day off work to drive across the state and get my vehicle. I have to stay out of my 4 interactions with Toyota every dealership has been worse than the last and quite frankly I regret not staying with Honda.

Excellent Service

I came in for regular maintenance and had a wonderful experience. From the time I pulled into the service line, I was greeted and constantly checked on. Rich was who serviced my vehicle and he did a marvelous job. Not only was he knowledgeable, but he was very charismatic as well which is always a great trait to have. He answered all questions I had, provided me with information on my vehicle, and made himself accessible for future service. His communication was top tier and based on this service alone, I would come again.

This was my 1st time at AutoNation on Thorton Rd. and was quite please. I was greeted by everyone that passed me then immediately directed to a service manager. His name was Rick Nicely and he was quick and efficient. There's no doubt that I will return with my car and my wives car as well.

Excellent Service

I just drove in for oil change and expected to stay a few hours since I didn’t have an appointment. Joshua said we will get you right in and it won’t take that long. So after I got comfortable and relaxed in the waiting room Joshua sent me a text that the car was ready. So I go out to let them know it must be a mistake because it usually takes longer with an appointment. Joshua explained about my tires and the recall and scheduled me to come back for that. My experience was awesome!!!

Oil Change

My experience regarding the service itself was just fine. No issues there whatsoever. However, when it came time to pay, I was in for a shock. That is the reason for a 3 star rating. The price for an oil change was $90.00! This is an increase of half again as much since my last oil change. There's no value in this and no acceptable excuse for it. There's no way I will pay this again. I will just have to go elsewhere. If I find similar increases on other services, then I will have to cease using AutoNation for service needs altogether.

Took my new-to-me Highlander in to get checked out since I was buying from a source other than a Toyota dealership. My service rep (Josh, I think) had a lot of time to talk with me about my concerns/things I wanted checked out. Faulty Battery tester

Faulty car battery tester. Service technician insisted that I needed to purchase a NEW battery $193 because my battery could give out any day. They even sent a picture to my phone of the faulty reading. Funny thing is that my current battery is fairly new. Soon after ,eating auto nation, I had my battery checked for another read and my battery was still in great condition. Had I not done that, I would have given auto nation $200 for a faulty inaccurate reading. I drove back to auto nation asking to speak to a manager. The manager said that their battery reader was giving them problems, and that the mechanic was new to job,, blah blah .. so now you tell. He then proceeds to check my battery using another battery tester and wow,,,, my battery is fine. I patronized this location in particular because I never felt like they would take advantage of customers. It all seemed fishy and I’m not pleased at all. Because how do I know the other testers aren’t faulty machinery that auto nation is keeping around to lie to customers. I just want honest customer service.

I scheduled an appointment with AutoNation for an oil change and multi-point inspection. I have a 2019 Toyota Prius LE with approximately 61900 miles. The service was performed as stated by their technician and they found no issues/problems that needed to be serviced. The service was quick professional and above all the service personnel were polite. I will definitely return for another service when it's due.

All about no customer service here

Sales person started well but went south very quickly . the used car mgr. Carl worst I ever seen in my years of buying cars needs to learn more about customer service, because my trade was almost the same cost of the Cadillac I was purchasing he tried to add on to the car to make higher All Weather Liners ( Mats ) that cost 599.00 & Tint / HD-Screen Protector ( film over monitor ) cost 599.00 than wanted me to accept only one key to vehicle one week after taking delivery of Cadillac it broke down called salesman to ask what are they going to about break down no reply waited for answer 2 day nothing I did take to Cadillac Dealership unbelievable car was fixed in 3 hours. very disappointed, I hope someone does something about the ego's the manager has when people are buying car they should not have to dealer with ego's.
