Very poor response

by jp_5601 on 07/24/2017

Had my nephew checked out BMW 4 Series. all went well until I made down payment using CC and loan was approved. While sales person was out, not only finance person but even manager didn't return calls and didn't respond to emails. Sales guys came back (hopefully he didn't have to shorten his time off) and called me immediately. I have a feeling manager asked him to call me immediately since I requested to cancel my car order and refund my down payment. Worst customer services, especially BMW's are considered elegant cars. Certainly not a good recommendation and I am thinking of sending a letter to BMW as well. I have a feeling, dealer will cancel my CPO ordered car, supposed to be shipped this week. Again, sales person was nice but this dealership doesn't have professionalism to serve customers.

Avoid Them!!!

by MikeTuraso on 03/26/2016

The tires on the vehicle are bald, interior shot, overall poorly maintained vehicle. The salesman, NEVER shook my hand the whole time I was there (not a friendly sign). He NEVER, offered me a bottle of water or asked me inside the building. The whole time he acted like he was doing ME a favor. He also called the dealership he previously worked at "a zoo" and how tired he was of that place. Mind you, that was a sister dealership owned by the same auto group. Hmm. so he openly speaks ill of the guys he used worked with in front of the customers? Not very loyal or has any etiquette. As something didn't smell fresh, I decided to find out the truth myself. So, I take the Acura for a test drive, w/ out the above mentioned salesman (Chris Treadwell, avoid this guy AT ALL COST! as I drive down the road the vehicle pulls to the right so I pull into the Acura lot during my test drive. Asked the Acura salesman on the lot if he and a mechanic wouldn't mind giving me their "expert" opinion. Acura manager tells me the $ of the vehicle is way too low, he gets the mechanic and they inspect the vehicle right there on their lot. AND...I find out that the brakes are shot, tires are gone, it needs alignment, chips and dents all over covered with spot painting. Bottomline the deal is too good to be true, but if I buy it they tell me I should at least get $2k for the repairs. Ironically enough they tell me to take the Acura to a mom and pop shop, after purchase, so I don't spend an arm and a leg trying to get the problems fixed through them. Meanwhile the sales guy sarcastically texts me, "did you take it home". Nope not anymore. I pull in the lot and tell the Treadwell about all the problems I found and for my discount to make the vehicle safe after the purchase. He turns around right there and then, hails his buddy over and gives him the keys to the Acura and tells him, "go ahead and call your guy". Wow! not only he was trying to sell me an unsafe car, but outright rude to my face. After handing over the keys to his buddy, this guy tells me if I drove off the lot he would simply sell the car to the "other guy". So, I tell him to ask his manager for the discount, and he disappears for ETERNITY. Finally, I see him coming out and as he approaches I drive off the lot. Later his manager calls, asking me to come back and give them another shot. He tells me the reason the price was so low is because of the lack of maintenance, which is costly. Honestly, I probably had bought the car if it wasn’t for the fact the vehicle was in poor maintenance shape and this salesperson was hands down the rudest person I have ever dealt with. Key facts: United BMW is not interested in return customers when it comes to used “other” luxury brands. They price their vehicles dirt cheap, because of the maintenance and other ways to skim of costs. They treat their customers like dirt as long as the turnover on the lot is high everything else is kosher. I rather pay more $$ and be RESPECTED, and TREATED with dignity along with purchasing a reliable well maintained car.

A+ Sales Experience buying a new BMW

by daddymalu on 11/26/2014

I had an awesome experience purchasing my new BMW from United BMW in Gwinnett. They had the perfect color combination and the right price. Ryan Chromek the Sales Manager did everything possible to make sure I got the lowest interest rate and that I was happy with my purchase. They even dropped off my new car and picked up my trade from South Florida. Could not have expected a better experience. Thanks Ryan!

This place should be shut down!

by atlanta3000 on 08/21/2014

I bought a x5 4.4 from United BMW of Gwinnett and the sales/service here is horrible. Their techs are not master BMW mechanics more like kids from Jiffy Lube. They will sell you cars needing multi-thousand dollars of work and ignore you a week after you bought car.

Unwilling to Work With TV and Fim Productions

by casting3 on 03/10/2014

I called representing a Casting Director in TV and Film for a major motion picture to secure a car for the production. I was told outright that they did not lease cars for that purpose. I asked at any price and was told rudely, I told you we don't do that. Very poor people skills. We will never use them again.

Great dealership to work with!

by read4 on 12/03/2013

We were considering buying a pre-owned car from this dealership and I cannot express in enough words how incredible this dealership was to work with. I was buying from afar (dealer was 2 hours from my home) and they took my phone calls and sincerely tried to get me the best deal they could. They returned my phone calls in a timely manner, answered questions and went above and beyond by getting the car checked out in their service department to give me some idea of what work would be in store (in the future) if I decided to purchase. The salesperson I worked with was Jonathan L. and he was fantastic, though I'm certain I owe a big thanks to his managers Ryan C. and David M. as well. Such great follow through and willingness to please must be a quality passed down from management!

Not an Honest Deal Maker

by fosborne on 10/28/2013

While the test drive and experience of the car was great. The final deal making was not. I asked if my company was enrolled in the BMW EPP program. I was told at first I needed to get paperwork from my company in order to qualify. So I was leaving and just waiting on my keys as they had taken my car for a trade in valuation. A sales manager then came to talk to me and said we could still work a deal on those terms and that all I had to do was get the paperwork done after and it was a simple thing he had done with another customer. I asked to verify that my company was in fact registered with the program which he confirmed so I made the deal. In the subsequent weeks after several communication with my HR and the dealership I learned my company was not registered so they charged me the higher price on the vehicle and cashed a check I had made for the difference I offered for them to hold in good faith that I would complete the necessary paperwork. The management stands behind and believes this sales manager and not this customer. My position is that he lied to me to close a deal. I will not do any followup service business and recommend to my friends to go somewhere else as we have other choices in Atlanta for BMW.

Used Car Purchase

by Mello252 on 04/24/2013

Well to start off i believed that I was receiving a great deal on the used chrysler that I was buying from bmw gwinnett I know I know thats not a bmw but I thought that being that I was buying a vehicle from such a reputable name as bmw my car would be A+.Turns out it wasnt after having multiple problems on my car I found out that my car had a faulty gas tank.Once again I repeat my car I purchased had a GAS TANK that was defective. They said that would fix it due to the fact that this was within the first 10 days I had the vehicle.Took them extremely long to fix I didnt have my car for two straight weeks at one point I didnt even know where my car was.Long story short stay far far away from this dealership that have a plaque when u walk in the door talking about how much they value customer service but trust me when I say that that is total and complete bs

Watch for a rip off

by hooch999 on 07/11/2011

The place sells cars marked as CPO (certified pre-owned) when there was really no work done to honor such claim. They sold me a CPO car with a bent wheel, no floor mats, and even some bumper trim missing! Later on I discovered that the front bumper was painted, and wrong fog light installed - so apparently my car was in an accident of some kind and they did not tell me a thing! The service manage does not respond to e-mail requests! The sales also lied to me about my trade-in value so I got ripped-off on my trade-in car as well! Watch out, this place is full of [violative content deleted].

Bueller???

by import350 on 02/14/2011

One would think sending a simple email requesting a time to test drive, talk $$$, and potentially make a decision on 4 prospective would be enough of a clue I was serious about purchasing a BMW. I received ZERO return calls, emails, or follow up. Needless to say I bought a BENZ instead.

by carryp on 08/25/2010

Well, to start, the only other reviews page I have found for them was all horrible ratings and one guys car even caught fire. My experience wasn't much better. I went there to look at a 03 Ford Ranger they had listed on every web site I could find for weeks. Of course they did the sales man thing "this is the best vehicle in the world and bla bla" Any way, we got them talked into a fair price even after their ridiculous $600 over head fee. I made an agreement with TYLER to buy the vehicle that day and said I would be up there ready to fill out papers at about 3-4 o'clock and TYLER agreed. My loan officer faxed them a pre-approval letter at about noon so they could lock me in and tell every one else it was sold. I already had him work up all the contracts for the vehicle, got insurance on it and spent hours preparing to buy it. I went up there at 4 o'clock (the time I said I would be there) after I called both Daniel and TYLER a bunch of times and couldn't get an answer from either of them and they wouldn't call me back after leaving messages. I got there and the truck was sitting up front and some guy standing out front informed me that it had been sold. I was in complete disbelief. After every thing I went through to buy the truck and all the time I wasted, TYLER sold it out from under me to make a few hundred extra dollars and he was hiding in the back some where and wouldn't talk to me, because needless to say I was very angry. BOTTOM LINE: THOSE GUYS ARE [violative content deleted] WHO WILL ACT LIKE YOUR BEST FRIEND BUT TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU ANY WAY THEY CAN. THEY DO NOT CARE IF YOU ARE PLEASED AS LONG AS THEY GET MAXIMUM PAY. **TYLER*** IS A [violative content deleted] SALES MAN.
