Since purchasing a Pre-owned Vehicle from The Dealership. The Service Department have been very bad. Their fees are very high for absolutely basic common shop items. Dealership sells Warranty through Banks. But anything that's covered. They want to make extra. Mr. Starks is very Unprofessional and will not get back to Customers. This was my experience with him which is a lasting one of a Rude person.

Terrible Service Experience

I took in my truck for repair last Friday after it repeatedly failed to start, leaving me stranded. The issue is intermittent, but I wanted it looked at so that if it came up again, especially if my son and wife were with me, I wouldn't be left stranded. I bought my truck from you guys back in mid-January, and everyone was really helpful. I even bought an extended warranty for $2450 since I was worried about all the different electronic parts the truck had and wanted to make sure they were protected. After failing to reproduce the issue, the service manager called me on Monday and suggested that they perform a computer upgrade after discovering an online technical advisory that appeared to be perhaps relevant to the situation. He informed me that it would cost $175 and wasn't covered by the extended warranty I bought from you all after I said, "Oh, that's great." (sarcasm) My extended warranty doesn't cover the one thing the service department is advising when I take my truck in for the first time after it repeatedly fails to start. Charles was unsure whether this would even fix my truck and cure the problem with it not starting, so I asked if there was anything we could do. He informed me that the update would cost $175 and was not covered by the warranty I bought. It was very frustrating how everything turned out. I bought this really wonderful truck, and it repeatedly failed to start. However, I didn't worry because I had gotten an extended warranty, and it turned out that my warranty didn't cover the system update that the service department had advised. This gives me a terrible taste in my mouth as a customer. Given that this was the first time I brought it in and that it has just been a few months after the purchase, it seems to me that this could have been simply applied without requiring that I pay for it just to resolve the situation. I've been asked to assess my experience in a number of emails, but to be really honest, I didn't have a nice experience and didn't feel like the customer was put first by the service department, they just wanted to make a buck.

Disrespecrful

While being checked out in the service department one of the service employees decided to wait on a friend who walked in more than 5 minutes after me and felt that it was okay. I know this because he had the audacity to say "he has been waiting to get his vehicle". I went to speak to Ms. Hensley and was informed by the general manager that she was out. I left my contact information and I' m still waiting to hear from her 2 week later.

Based Car Buying Experience in 4 decades

Excellent Service and Sale

We worked with Nicole and she was amazing. She is very knowledgeable on the many different used cars they had on the lot and helped us find the exact amenities we were looking for in our new to us vehicle. Jeff in Finance was so extremely knowledgeable and helpful as well. They both went above and beyond. We discovered on the second day of owning our vehicle that there was an issue. The check engine light came on. We hit the On-Star button (we had a free trial) and they told us it was a fault int he engine cooling system. Sure enough, the temperature gauge was not reading at all. It was 5:45 on a Friday night and they told us to bring it right to them. We did, and they had a loaner vehicle waiting for us! It turns out the sensor was bad. They replaced it free of charge under their 3 month/3k mile warranty on their used cars. And we had a loaner all weekend. Although we wanted to be driving our new car, we were thankful they did that for us! We will definitely be back when it is time for our next car. We are now customers for life!

Poor Service

I brought my car in for warranty work. The service man NEVER called me back for my warranty work after I spent all day waiting for the warranty company to call the service man back. He kept telling me oh they will call back soon. I finally left with my vehicle and he said he would call me back once he hears from the warranty company. After a week of waiting, I called the warranty company and she said they called with 3 messages to the service man at Masters GMC. It’s now been a month and no one has called from the service department. When the service department took my vehicle for a test drive they went to McDonalds and left their trash in my vehicle. Terrible customer service at this dealership! I will never bring my vehicle here again!

New Buick Encore

We have been looking for a good car for my elderly mother to drive, and we decided on a Buick Encore. Master Buick not only was located close enough to us, the car selection and offers were outstanding. I had talked to Mr. Gene Baxley before, and he had been understanding and, what we appreciated most, not high-pressure in pursuing a sale. On the Master Buick website, we saw that there was exactly the Buick Encore we would be interested in, we contacted Mr. Baxley, and he set up an appointment for a test drive. We made a deal that day and traded my mom's car for the exact Buick Encore we wanted.

Outstanding Dealership

My overall experience of purchasing a 2015 GMC Aciada from Master Buick GMC Augusta was EXCELLENT due to the over-whelming excellent service I recieved from sales consultant Mr. William (Bill) Whitten. Mr.Whitten was very courteous, respectfull and most of all technically proficient in all aspects of the vehicle that I purchased. In addition, Mr. Whitten excellent knowledge of financial options to obtain the best "deal" possible was much appreciated. A good deal is where the customer comes back again to make another. I believe I got a excellent and a fair deal and that both parties came out with an excellent outcome.

Great Dealership in Augusta

Review: I just purchased a new 2008 GMC Sierra from Master Pontiac Buick here in Augusta GA. This is second vehicle I have purchased from them ( first was a used 2003 Silverado). Both times I worked with a sales associate named Gary Settles. Gary is a true professional and the best I have ever worked with. He works to understand your desires and wishes and to get what you want and not what he wants to sell. No pressure, no BS and works to get his customers a fair deal. He represents his dealership extremely well. His service continues as long as you own your vehicle. He is also their internet sales guy. Their reputation is solid.
