Be aware

The dealership is falsify the the price of the vehicle to lure customers to come to dealer once there you will be told it was a misprint. Then they told me the bank is require the warranty and other products to gain a approval that’s illegal. They also agreed and we signed a contract and they keep pressure me saying other people want to buy now. I said shut sell the thing the bed had paint in the bed and all scratched up priced the same as a new SR5. Do your home work

CJ Banks is the best

I would give the Sale Department especially CJ Banks 10 stars if I could. I have purchased three cars from him and he has always gone to bat for me to get me a good deal. He is honest and every time I see him he still remembers me!

Go somewhere else

The SERVICE DEPARTMENT however has been an extreme disappointment. The last time I took my 2019 Odyssey in to get a patch on my 17,000 mile tire so many things went wrong. 1) the car would not start when they went to take it in for service. They did not call me and tell me this, instead they just replaced my battery (which was under warranty because it was a month old). 2) When I called to check on the status of my car, they did not tell me about the battery and had not even checked the tire (4 hours after my appointment). 3) Then they tell my husband the tires were low but nothing was wrong with them. When he tells them it has a slow leak then they apparently put it on the lift and see it has metal in it...which they cannot patch because it is too close to the tread. 4) I speak to the service technician because this is the SECOND time I have replaced the battery in my van with 17,000 miles on it and she says we cannot find anything wrong with the electronics...must have been a fluke...is it a fluke after I already replaced the original battery just have a year? All that to say....STAY AWAY FROM THIS SERVICE DEPARTMENT THEY DON'T SEEM TO HAVE A CLUE.

Pre-Owned Vehicle Purchase Update

Gerald Jones Honda has been the worst car buying experience that I have ever had, and continues to deliver, as ownership of my purchased pre-owned vehicle continues. My previous review highlighted the horrific time consumption of the disorganized service department and not-corrected issues with the vehicle even though was told they had been rectified. Including something as small as cleaning the inside of the vehicle which we were told was completed before being sold, but was not to the extent that especially in the non-obvious places was dirty and gross enough that I was quoted over $100 for detailing due to the volume and nature of everything present. Instead it took me three hours and many cleaning methods, with some specimens found that are worried to know what actually is. The Dealership's Community Outreach employee reached out to me and was very nice and made arrangements for me to bring the vehicle by to correct the issues, which have still persisted; and even went as far as to give me a free oil change. She was very cordial and helped me greatly, but due to the disorganized service department, egregious service department employees dealt with and prolonged wait, I will not ever go back and claim the free oil change; it is not worth it. The service department employees whom I dealt with treated me as if I was attempting to get away with something, and with the audacity to make sharp, sarcastic egregious remarks about my being there. The vehicle was sold to my wife and I with the added "new tires perk" which are such low quality tires that since owning, they have had to be constantly re-inflated. Additionally, the spare that is under the rear of the truck was said to be new as well, but when stranded with a flat recently, the spare tire was in such bad shape it could not be used and appeared as if pulled from a wrecked vehicle and that tire was subject to extreme harsh treatment. Which of course caused even more issues, but the time to limp the vehicle to the closest service center twenty five minutes away-normal driving, was still shorter than the shortest time I have had to wait at Gerald Jones Honda Service Department. If you are Active Military should not have any issues, but as Reserve or Veteran (no matter if you were active before like myself) they will not help on price and in my experience talking about Reserve Weekend Duty, was responded to with it being referred to going to "play Air Force" or "you were Air Force before" and other similar remarks not in good tone. Gerald Jones Honda appears to only be beneficial and knowledgeable for New Honda Vehicles, and not trustworthy with anything other than that, and after our experience with everything we have dealt with there I would not recommend even to my worst enemy. If service is needed on the vehicle, drop it off; or you will join the many patrons falling asleep and waiting the majority of the day for their vehicles, if they remember to call for you when complete like they did not on one of my visits.

Allen Baer was very helpful and considerate

I had to buy a new Honda after I totalled my last one. I hate car shopping and was already banged up and injured so was not looking forward to dealing with this. However, Allen Baer at Gerald Jones Honda was so considerate. He wasn't pushy or abrasive. He actually did research for me on all my options and emailed me ideas and honest information so I didn't waste time test driving things that wouldn't work for my family since I wasn't up to it. And he worked within our budget. He made it so I spent as little time possible at the dealership so I could get back home and rest. This is the only positive car buying experience I have ever had and it was much needed after such a hard week. Thank you Allen and Gerald Jones.

Great maintence at great cost

Mike was very helpful with making sure all my concerns from my car maintenance to cost were addressed and paid attention to. I was shocked at how low the cost of labor was and that all the hardware was at factory prices.

The service writer called and let me know I had some minor things that need attention and he told some was covered with the warranty. One issue could be fixed that day but the other issue a part has to be ordered. I like being notified before the problem could be serious.

I was traveling through town and broke down far from home. I can't tell you enough how wonderful all of the staff and mechanics were to help me through a difficult and stressful time!
