Nothing but bad service & lies...

onSave yourself the headache and shop somewhere else. After my new vehicle purchase, I had nothing but horrible service and disrespectful responses from the management. After my purchase, it took me 2 weeks to get my vehicle in for some work they owed me. The salesperson would never call me back. Every time I called he told me the person to perform the work was on vacation. When I finally got me vehicle in, I asked that mechanic how his vacation was... he didn't know what I was talking about. NOTHING BUT LIES ever time I spoke with either the salesperson or management - Lies. I was told to bring my vehicle in and ask for another manager. I did, and I waited, and asked, and waited, and asked a 3rd time, and waited for over an hour. He never came out - I finally had to beg service to help me out. When I picked my car up, it took another 90 minutes between waiting and having them redo some work that was not correctly done. Then to top it off, they sabotaged my vehicle - yeah I know they will respond to this and call me some crazy guy. First off, someone there tore up my vehicle insurance paperwork in the glovebox. Next when I got home, I noticed that the side window sticker that opens the community gate, no longer worked. Upon further inspection, someone actually cut a small portion off the sticker. WTF kind of people would do this? I told management that I wanted a simple explanation why someone would tear up my paperwork or I would write this review. He called me a crazy guy and probably tore it up myself. It's been 3 days and no response, so here is my reveiw. PLEASE, listen to this and the other bad reviews here - nobody deserves to be treated this way.

onFirst I spoke to them on the phone and the seller George Soliman attended me, who by the way was very kind to me and very professional, explaining all the characteristics of the car I wanted to buy and then when I went to look for my car, he attended me wonderfully and I can say that I recommend it 100%

onOf my 50 plus years of automotive purchasing experiences, Mayer Chevrolet is by far the most favorable. General Sales Manager Wayne Culver, Sales Consultant Michael O'Roake and support staff were the essense of honesty, integrity, genuine concern and sincerely friendliness that turned a potentially stressful situation into a pleasure. Now my proud Bolt ownership comes with an additional exclamation: "Car buying can be fun!"

Easy and Quick

onWe were surprised how quick and easy buying our new car was. I had checked with other dealers but many were taking advantage of the consumers by adding thousands over MSRP for additional dealer profits. I refuse to pay (what would add up to be my first year payments) to a greedy dealer that’s taking advantage of a difficult situation. Maher sold us our car at MSRP. When this whole auto market mess is over I hope people will remember who took advantage of the car buying public and who didn’t. Our salesman Ado took very good care of us. Thanks

Maher makes mistakes

onMy car was damaged at Maher when their service tech test drove it. Maher kept it for 3 weeks and then refused to correct issues the car did not have before their accident. I knew Maher had dishonest sales people. One posted online reviews of my car purchase and signed my name. Now, after over a decade of recommending Maher's service folks, I no longer trust them either. Maher's general manager told me "people make mistakes." His people make a LOT of mistakes and he won't correct them. Other people should avoid my mistake of doing business with Maher Chevrolet.

onMaher Chevrolet is best because it is minutes from my home in Kenneth City. It feels a little intimidating to drop your car off for service for the first time. A brand new vehicle that you can only hope will be treated as if you were standing over it. Well I was fortunate enough to be handled by Tim Gerber and I will never forget how quick, easy and seemless the whole experience was. Thanks Maher for having great service consultants like Tim.

No service after the sale

onMy brand new $90k Stingray Z06 has a glue smell from the cabin that is so strong that GM is buying the car back from me. The smell didn't show up until the day after purchase. Apparently, the heat of the engine was causing something to emit a horrid noxious fume. The buyback from GM has been a long and drawn out process which I had to have performed via another dealership. Why am I giving Maher a negative review? I notified Maher within days of experiencing the issue and they advised to take it to the nearest dealer as I was 2.5 hours from Maher. The dealer confirmed the problem and was issued a TAC number with GM. GM told me to "drive w/the windows down" and that they were working on a fix and I would be looking at possibly 8 WEEKS. I notified Maher that I had just purchased this vehicle and I didn't even want it as this was a day 1 issue. They suggested I call GM, request they buy my car back and then washed their hands clean of the matter entirely. I've left several voicemails with Maher and multiple emails, all of them unanswered. They've left me to fend for myself against GM. It's been an absolute nightmare, leaving me without a vehicle for months now. I live almost 1 hr from work and have had to crash on someone's couch just so I could bum a ride to work. Yep, you read that right, i had to move out of my house b/c Maher sold me a lemon. GM is supposedly replacing my car and it will be delivered by end of April. I RECEIVED ZERO ASSISTANCE from Maher. I spoke w/the head of service at Maher and gave him the TAC number from GM confirming my issue. They should have immediately helped me find a workable solution. Rather, they acted like it would be a walk in the park to deal with GM directly.
