Your Tech was wrong

the service tech said I needed a Torque Converter,. way too expensive so I didn't have the service done but I asked if there was debris in the pan when they did the diagnosis and he said no but the fluid was burnt. I took my vehicle to a transmission shop and they said if the fluid is burnt you will also need a transmission. FYI my brother is also a mechanic unfortunately out of state but he agreed with the transmission shop WOW imagine if I had spent the $3,900 that you wanted to do the torque converter then later (who knows how long) coughing up 6,000 or more for the transmission Your tech was wrong. NO THANK YOU

I purchased a 2016 Tahoe with 67 miles. I had to bring it back to the dealership the first week, I had no radio, navigation or ability to use handsfree phone, The center console wireless charging station did not work. My truck spent a week in service for a corroded antenna and was told the module for the charging station was on back order and they would not know when it would be in. I took my vehicle home, while driving home the message displayed on my dash to push the start button to turn on vehicle. I took it back to the dealer to be told nothing brought up a code on the computer so it was probably a fluke issue. Now 2 weeks later my Tahoe is "missing" while idling but of course the dealer "can not reproduce the problem. A $70,000 truck should not have theses issues already and the dealer has told me that "all they do is sell the vehicles they don't make them." I was told by the General service manager "be thankful you have a warranty to cover these issues."

Great service

My Equinox had been making noises and suddenly stopped in the middle of the road. 105 heat. The folks at starling were great tow and loaner taken care of. Equinox repaired cleaned and even oil changed. Great service

They're decent, fair people. The service department ROCKS - free loaners! Find that anywhere else. They'll even drive you home so you don't have to wait, buying from them is simple. Trade-in values are fair. Not pushy, not big liars. They're just wonderful.

Purchasing a new Vehicle

This purchase from Starling came about due to the service I have received from Richard Kelly, my car service tech. He kept me up to date on my last vehicle and gave me advise on how to keep my car running safe. When I got the report back as to what was wrong with the car, on April 25th, I decided it was time to quit putting a band-aid on the old car and purchase a different vehicle. Richard Kelly introduced me to Kerry King,he and I discussed my options for a vehicle. He explained in detail what it would take to get me in this new car. He was upfront, encouraging and patient. It was as though he knew what I needed. I did not feel pressured into buying a vehicle I did not need, but one that would meet my needs. This is the first new vehicle purchase I have made and thanks to Kerry King I will be driving in style.

Great people skills and atmosphere

I've never felt so at home in a dealership but the whole crew at Starling Chevrolet are kind and welcoming. Jimmy is the money who actually sold me my car and he made the whole thing so fast and easy. 3 hours including all paperwork test drive and looking for a car. I will recommend this dealership to anyone getting a new car. They also threw in 2 tanks of gas for free

Absolute best car buying experience EVER!!

I would highly recommend Starling Buick to anyone who is in need of a car without the pushy salesmen. I knew what I wanted and how much I wanted to spend. Besides an error in the original price, the vehicle was brought down to my internet quote after much number crunching. Chris was informative and very helpful and let us be. He wasn't breathing down our necks trying to sell us more. He was an excellent salesman, the kind I wish I'd see more often. Gerardo, in finance, amazing! Very personable and enjoyable to talk to. Before going over numbers, terms, the typical car finance stuff, we talked for quite some time about vintage muscle cars, definitely broke any ice that may have been there. Again, no pushiness. He recommended GAP, which I took, which in turn lowered my interest rate. By the time I was done with paperwork my car was ready!! Washed, tank full of gas, metal license plates installed (no temps), and car pulled up to the front door like valet service. This, by far, has been the absolute best car buying experience I've ever encountered. Most certainly worth the 3 hour drive to the dealership. I will most certainly refer others to Startling, Chris, and Gerardo when in the market for a vehicle. This dealership gets a 2 thumbs up by me. Keep up the great work Startling. Thank you!!!

Emergency Service

I was having problems with my car. I took it to Starling in Saint Cloud without an appointment. I was greeted immediately upon entering the service department. In a matter of minutes my car was being worked on. I was informed that a part would need to be ordered and would not arrive until the next day. I was provided with a loaner vehicle until the repairs were complete. It was so nice my wife wanted to buy it. This was important to me as we only have one car. The next day I received a phone call telling me that the part did not arrive but should arrive tomorrow. I appreciated being informed. This was not Starling's fault and I was able to plan accordingly. When the repairs were complete I received a phone call telling me I could pick up my car. Why would you have your vehicle serviced anywhere else?

Service advisor avoid at all cost

I took my 2006 Pontiac to replace a water pump. The service advisors name is David Hernandez. David quoted me $490.00 for the repair and 4 hours to complete. I also ask him to replace the widow tint on the Passenger side glass. David quoted me $55.00. The service technician took my car in for repairs on Saturday April 30th 2011 at 1 pm and started the work they closed at 4 pm and would not be able to complete it until Monday May 2nd 2011. David told me that I would be able to pick up the car around 12 noon. I called him on Monday and was told that they were waiting on parts and that they were not aware that they could not reuse the seals and gaskets and had to order them. David told me that it was going to cost more that the quote due to it took more time than he thought and for the extra parts $790.00. David said that I could pick up the car on Tuesday. I have an extended warranty and they said that due to I have just purchased the car that the Dealer Hills Nissan would have to pay, they agreed to pay and would pay the Chevy dealer. In short the warranty company ended up paying for the repairs and Hills would pay my deductible for me to the Chevy dealer $100.00. David would not release my car until they received the check or I would have to pay and then Hills would pay me. I can’t believe that my tax dollars bailed them out and that when another dealership tells them they will pay they will not believe them. I guess that $100.00 will put them out of business. I then was told that the window tint was going to be $199.00 for both windows because they could not match it. Wait 55 plus 55 is $110.00 not $199.00. Now is was pissed and did swear at him because he is incompetent. The service manager watched the confrontation from the safety of his office and would not come out to address the issue. He was to busy shooting the bull with a buddy from the sales floor. I recommend that you avoid this dealership at all cost. [violative content deleted] jacking up the price. One last thing watch your bill they tried to tax me on my deductible. I all so received and e-mail survey about my visit and asked that the contact me for additional information that was almost a week ago and no call. Guess they don’t care.

Had a great experience at Starling Chevrolet

I was looking for a new truck after driving my previous one for five years and made all the rounds - Coggin, Heard, Courtesy - you name it. Even went to Tropical and Greeneway to consider the F-150 but just didn't really like the F-150. I'd shopped all over the place and all the prices were basically just about the same, but just couldn't stand the people at Heard and Coggin. Came to Starling and they matched the price of Heard and it was over and done with in under an hour. Couldn't have asked for more - previous reviewer said it was old Florida and that things moved a little slower but I didn't notice it if so.

Great salesmen/horrible trade in value for your vehicle

This dealership is in the land of old Florida. Things are slower here. Our salesman was from the area and had been at the dealer a long time. He got us a good price .The negative is the trade-in value the dealer gives. Next the salesmen always has some reason while it is so low. (second time dealing with) They wanted to give us 5000 dollars for a 2002 Suburban. The trade in should fall between 8-11000 for that vehicle. The people before us couldn't believe their trade-in quote either.
