Performance Nissan Sales Experience

by Dave Stilling on 02/29/2024

April 14 2022 began my journey to the dealer. That day in Hollywood I lost my beloved Honda accord v-6 Ex in an unbelievable arial flooding event -29" of rain in 8 hours- resulting in hydro lock. My wife and I wanted an electric car at an economy price and were looking at the Nissan leaf. We test drove one at Performance Nissan and were undecided. We returned again a week later and that's when we met Roy Zarokyan. I don't know how his particular skill set developed , sales schools, life experience, natural ability, but he is a great salesman and very good at his job. He made a dreaded trip to the dealer pleasant, sold me a car that fit my driving habits, looked up insurance quotes, and streamlined the process of buying the car. I don't know what Nissan pays Roy but it's not enough to compensate what he brings to the table. Be warned: prepare to purchase a vehicle when Roy is the salesman, because thats what he does so well. i expect I will be looking to buy another electric car this year to replace my remaining combustion engine vehicle. Thank you Roy for your knowledge and professionalism. See you soon.

Thank you Roy and Performance Nissan

by Robert and Paul on 10/16/2023

This is the fourth vehicle purchase from Performance Nissan. We evaluated other dealerships like Mazda, but we keep coming back to Performance Nissan because they value customer loyalty and understand what's important. Our sales lead with each purchase Roy. I have to say, we are so thankful he is there and would likely follow him anywhere because we trust him. Thank you Performance Nissan and thank you Roy for the amazing work that you do in taking the stress out of purchasing vehicles!!! Paul E and Robert W, Wilton Manors

Top Notch

by Mpiano23 on 06/25/2017

Bought 2 vehicles from the dealership in one day. Mike Balek was top notch , no high pressure sales tactics. Bobby Jr was also a complete professional and got me top dollar for both trades. Highly recommend this dealership, this is my third purchase. Excellent selection , finance managers were also knowledgable and efficient.

Ben the Internet Sales Manager will lie to you

by jerrysch on 12/19/2015

Very poor experience. Saw a 2012 FX35 on the internet and sent a note with an offer of $25,500 and Ben the Internet Sales Manager called me up and said he could do $25,500 and to come on down for a test ride. Made the 40 mile trip through ruch hour only to be told after the test ride the best they could was 27,000. So keep in mind that anything Ben says is a lie, so get in writing.

STAY AWAY – SNEAKY SLIMY SALES TATICS

by ErnieG54 on 10/05/2015

I was talking to a few different dealers looking for a specific used car. Performance Nissan was one of those dealers. I live in SW Florida and was just under a 2.5 hour drive away from this dealer. I inquired on the dealer’s website and was discussing terms with Jose W. Robles whom was some sort of internet sales consultant. I was specifically told that the car out the door (including taxes, dealer fees, etc.) was the price I was looking for and the only item I would be responsible for is for tag only. I purposely waited to buy on the last day of the month because I noticed many of the different dealers I was working with was willing to negotiate to close out the month strong. After extensive back and forth with all the dealers, I picked Performance Nissan because of the price I was promised. I let Jose W. Robles know that I was far away and I would be driving across state to purchase the car. Not only did I have an email from him but I also sent him a text message MAKING SURE that the price was what he stated it was and that there would be no surprises when I got there. He assured me that price was correct. I was very excited and drove there in confidence that I would be coming home with a new car. When I got there, I was handed off to a floor salesman and test drove the car. I thought the car was perfect and wanted to move forward. Once I gave them the green light, I was forced to wait close to 3 HOURS to sit down with the closing department. At that point, I knew we were only a couple of minutes away from my exciting ride home with my new car. TO MY SURPRISE, when the closing department gave me the paperwork the price was $1800 more then what I promised. After being explained there must have been some sort of mistake I was told that the General Manger (GM) cannot let the car go for that price and there was nothing they could do. I WAS FURIOUS at this point and demanded I speak to the GM in person. After 20 minutes of waiting for the GM, I was offended on not only how he handled the situation but more offended by his offer for a free tank of gas for my troubles. This type of sales tactics are unacceptable and should have some sort of recourse. I myself am a sales person and my word is the nature of my business. Employees need to be accountable and the dealer should HAVE NOT let me walk out the door as angry as I was. I would NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE to buy a car from PERFORMANCE NISSAN or getting quotes from Jose W. Robles. I will be posting this complain everywhere I can!

DO NOT SELL OR GIVE OUT YOUR CUSTOMERS PERSONAL INFORMATION!!

by Paul_McNeil on 03/13/2015

Was overall happy with my experience at Performance Nissan. Got car I wanted, price I was satisfied with. Salesman (Kelly Cowart) was helpful. Felt it was a good experience. UNTIL - I start getting calls from Sirius/XM radio. Performance Nissan took it upon themselves to pass along my private cell phone, and email information, so they could harass me to sign up for their service. I did not ask for, nor did I give permission to share my personal info with anyone. If I wanted satellite radio activated in my car (I DID NOT) I would have activated it myself. Giving customer information, without consent, to third parties is a sleazy practice, I will not do business with again, and will not recommend to anyone I know. Why did I expect more from a car dealership.

Terrible Experience-Twice

by buzbuz on 03/12/2013

Went the first time to look at a Nissan Juke, while taking a test drive they ran my credit without my permission, we weren't even at that point of negotiations and never got there. Found out a couple of days later when my credit monitoring company alerted someone ran my credit. Several months later now ready to buy went back. Told the salesman up front that whatever we came up with I was going to go home and think about it but would call him the next morning with my answer. Took my car keys to appraise my trade in and then gave me his price. I told him what I thought I would like to pay and he came back with a counter. Thought it was close and asked for my keys back and thanked him. Next the manager comes in. He asked what the problem was Which I answered there was no problem I got your best price all I want are my keys and I'll go home and think about it. He got quite upset and said that wasn't his best price. At which I answered we were just wasting my time then. He practically threw my keys back Thanked me for coming in and said good bye. It was a very uncomfortable situation and I asked the manager if he read the reviews on line? To which he answered that he didn't have time because he was always at work. Will never go back there. Will buy a Nissan Juke tomorrow from another dealer.

Bad made good

by doberman1 on 02/09/2012

My SUV needed a new fuse, since there were several interior lights not working. I took my vehicle to the repair shop to have them replace the fuse and do some "recall work". They ran a $100 "test", then informed me that it would be $850 to repair! Told me that there were shortout everywhere and my vehicle was a fire hazard if I didn't heve it "repaired" immediatly! Confused,I went home, popped open my fuse box and replaced the $.60 fuse. Voila, my lights came back on again, as expected! After calling back the dealership's GM to inform him of their nefarious practices, he forwarded my # to the Service Manager, Angel. Angel apologized and offerred to repair another problem free of charge. I agrred to the offer. He did the work w/o incident and as promised ($96 job). My hats off to Angel for "stepping up and doing damage control". Good/smart customer service on his part. However, shame on Ricardo, the original service guy for trying (unsuccessfully) to rip me off.

by die6587 on 04/14/2011

Got best quote in the county for my car. Bought it in April 2011. I recommend Doug Wilson, and Ed Oliveira. Clean office, great variety and only dealer with the car I wanted in stock. 5 stars!

STAY FAR AWAY FROM ENDICOTT-POMPANO NISSAN

by creldo on 03/23/2011

The Endicott Nissan dealer service dept. has been unable to even locate the source of the problems--never mind fix them. They return the car filthy (last time with 4 huge spots of bird crap on it) and unfixed. The service person told me to take the car to another Nissan dealer! Endicott sold the car and can't service it! I have brought the car back 3 times without any problems rectified. The last time, I left it with the dealer for 4 days at the suggestion of the service manager, Dennis Namor, so that they could find an "intermittent" problem as they termed it. The only thing I received in return was a lot of bird crap on the new paint. Now the dealer has just renamed itself "Pompano Nissan" and Dennis Namor is no longer working there! I can only assume that my awful experience with them was typical, and that they had to rename the dealer out of shame. DON'T BE FOOLED: STAY FAR AWAY FROM ENDICOTT-POMPANO NISSAN IN POMPANO BEACH.

STAY FAR AWAY FROM ENDICOTT-POMPANO NISSAN

by creldo on 03/23/2011

I bought a brand new Nissan Juke in November and had a bad sales experience. After the salesman and I had agreed on a fair price (above the dealer invoice cost), the dealer tried to add on a $600 "dealer's fee." They negotiated in bad faith. I then had starting and GPS problems within 2 weeks of the purchase.
