My experience at Chevrolet stingray

Salesperson Jose was very helpful and answered all my questions about the new Chevy Trax he was able to find me the one I had seen online loved it. I was also thankful that he came in on his day off so that I could pick up my trax I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it. And the financial person that help me get the best rate and bank that would work with my budget. He was so nice and took his time to answered my questions I left his office with the best deal he could help me get. Thank you stingray family. Love My Trax’s

Preventive Maintance

Didn't delivered like they promise...

I brought my car to be fixed from a major oil leak, after I have an oil change a month before. They "check" the car and they gave me information that it seems to be correct, due to the fact that they are the professionals. The estimate was ridiculously high, but once again I was trusting the "professionals". Because they didn't have an opening for me to leave the car to be fixed, they promise they will call me in the middle of the week for me to bring it in; I am still waiting for that call. Nevertheless, they told me that the coolant tank needed to be fixed, so I decided to fix that, and wait for their call for the other repair. Before I left, I ask them if they replaced the coolant tank and they answer, "Yes!" Waiting for the call that never came in, I took my car to another place with the estimate, locally, to see if they could help me. I told them that they replace the coolant tank as they told me, but as he checks the estimate and receipt, we discovered that I was charged over $700 in labor, just to replace some hoses, never the coolant tank. They were able to fix my car proving that the previous evaluation of the problem was completely wrong, they did it fast, and over $1,000 cheaper that that estimate given by Stingray Chevrolet. It is very disappointing to know that people you trust with your life, only care for money.

Terrible service

My truck went in for a window leak which has happened multiple times,I was told it was fixed and water tested..got home from dealership it rained a couple hrs after and sure enough window leaked ,headliner is wet again They left my back seat all messy and stuff was moved around stuff on the floor when I left it clean My bed cover had loose bolts in it everything went wrong It's just ridiculous

The dealership is absolutely beautiful! Michael H. in Sales and Leasing was very educated about the vehicles. I appreciated the extra time he took to teach me about my purchase. Ryan M. and Ramona B. (internet team) were great. Ramona called me the next day (even though I never met her. She felt with my husband) and congratulated me on my purchase. I can tell she loves what she does! Ryan and Ramona really set the tone for a great purchasing experience. Eric G., hands down is the best Business Finance Manager in Central Florida! He was extremely knowledgeable about the finance portion of the deal. He gave me time to read the documents. He was patient and made me feel extremely comfortable coming from a lease to a purchase. It was a great overall experience! I highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking to purchase a new vehicle.

The only place to buy a new Chevy

Just another car dealership

When I went to buy my new Corvette I browsed the sales lot for a long time without being approached by a sales person. That is a good thing. There was a good selection to look at including a pair of the owners $300,000 sports cars by the front door to let you know where some of your money would be going. The interior of the building was excessively elaborate. I am one who does not understand why modern dealerships need to be that way to sell me a car but I suppose it impresses some people. My sales was person was very knowledgeable and cooperative. I had to beat up the finance guy to obtain a decent rate. Why can't they give you a great rate up front and forget about their kickback which pays for the elaborate building? By the way, the worn out blue jeans worn by some sales staff were in stark contrast to all of those high dollar amenities. The best and most professional person I dealt with was a young man named Jack who sat in the car and explained all of the electronics and systems to me. Once I drove my new car away I have never heard from them again - no phone call to thank me or ask how the car was, no letter, no incentive to come back, no GM survey....nothing. In return, I have not called them either, not even for my scheduled service which I have done at McGuire Chevrolet which does not have such an elaborate layout but does have spectacular service.

Purchasing a 2018 Silverado

On 3/28/18 I called Stingrays internet sales department to see if a vehicle was still available for the price listed. $29,990. It was a basic 1500 crew cab. The person said I have an appointment at 1:00pm. I drove an hour west towards Tampa, and after 2 hours, and a test ride with a flashing empty fuel gauge. I said ok, As I have been a loyal GM/ Chevy purchaser for 40 years. The salesman Paul, said that deal is for non GM/Chevy purchasers. I was in shock.. As I left, and was on my way home, my son said Dad, you own a Honda Motorcycle, I called the dealer back, and they said they would work a deal. No great deal.. They gave me $5750 for my trade, $5000 down, and a $4000 rebate. The truck was $40,000. After meeting the finance guy Sean, I requested to use my bank that offered 2.9 finance. I was growing tired, and feeling sick due to chemotherapy. I mentioned it, as I needed a meal, and energy. After filling out & signing 20 sheets of paper. We took the vehicle home. Later that night, I reviewed the paperwork. Was upset cause it contained $4600 in aftermarket products, and the dealers bank which was much higher loan apr. Returned to Stingray dealer following day to cancel aftermarket package. It has been 3 weeks, and they passed me to two finance guys, and a cancellation woman named Diana. Very unprofessional.. Very disappointed with the quality of service.

Just turned over 100,000 miles and had the car checked out. New plugs, trans oil replaced,cabin filter replaced, oil changed and a few other things. I did not have an appointment and they were able to get me in with a loaner truck to get to work.

Stingray made it easy to buy

After being heavily pressured by several dealerships, I quit looking for a new car for about a month. I decided to look at a Chevy Spark, because I wanted a "city car" and had looked at Ford, Kia, Hyundai and Mazda. I went into Stingray informed and prepared for a battle. However, I was promptly greeted and put at ease. A sales representative asked how he could help me, and I told him exactly what I needed. Bottom line, Stingray did exactly what I asked, and put me into the car I wanted.

2011 Tahoe

The cooling pack on the driver's side developed a leak and seat cover needed to be replaced. The dealer Stingray Chevrolet replaced the seat cover and did a great job.

Could have been much better

Took my 2015 SS sedan in for recalls / warranty repairs. Car was there for 1 week due to the computer network at GM going off line = needless to say I was NOT A HAPPY CAMPER... if I did not have a loaner then they would have heard about it more in depth. Typically all is good, this time not so much.

Oil change and tire rotation

Went to leave was told to get out car guy moved car puddle of oil on ground under my car. Went and fixed the issue it was oil filter. I left and went to Clearwater checked oil when I got there it was two quarts over. Took back Tuesday with check engine light on got a loaner. Went back Wednesday never got any call about my car. When I got there no one knew where my car was or paperwork finally they found it. Was told needed my emissions system checked that it was 380 to do plus labor. Guy said it would hurt anything if I took it. So went the following Sunday and got new gas cap and with in a day check engine light was off so in other words I fixed problem for ten dollars. Your people tried to pull one over on me for their mistake. That's the way I feel.
