Scammers

by MRoland on 10/19/2018

Buyer beware once you sign the dried line you're screwed. We're on the hook for thousands of dollars and we have a vehicle that will not even start and its only been a month. Do not purchase any used vehicles from them or you'll be sorry

Top notch sales person

by Angie2350 on 06/12/2018

I had a bad experience with another dealer and was a little skeptical last year when I went car shopping. However, Mike Duggan of Acura, made the transaction seamless and I will be forever grateful for his expertise and professionalism.

I feel I was treated dishonestly!!!

by roy0042 on 05/27/2017

On March 31, 2017 my wife and I bought an Acura with Pembroke Pines Acura. Our sales agent was Anthony Morales (we pronounce it Moral-less now) He promised us that he would secure the following as a function of the sale, and even meet me halfway between the dealership and my office since it was a long drive: Missing 2nd key CD’s and a folder of paperwork from our previous vehicle All weather floor mats and cargo liner Touch up paint (we had a free coupon) Missing cross rails from luggage rack We contacted him multiple times after driving off the lot by text, email, and over 20 times by phone. Each time, he indicated he was not on the lot, and would call us back. Zero times is how many he called back. I even sent him a copy of this review stating it would go up online and be sent to Acura corporate, and posted on social media in a week if I didn’t hear back from him - which I didn’t. He is apparently the old style of used car salesman - I thought this was the new world where buying a car was painless. It’s not only aggravating, it’s a dishonest bait and switch. And I feel it’s premeditated by the dealership, as we had to sign a form that stated we were not relying on anything the sales agent told us as a part of the deal. This is our 6th consecutive Acura. We have always loved the product, though this experience has seriously soured us. On each prior sale, we negotiated with the salesman at Napleton’s Acura in similar good faith. And in each one, they came through with the promises… all weather floormats and a 2nd key were always part of it, as was matched touchup paint. It’s really not that hard, or that expensive. We have another Acura at over 120k miles… soon we will have to replace it. I had even told Anthony this, thinking potential future business would help spur him along on a return call or two. But, apparently he doesn’t care about future business for the dealership. So, we’ll be replacing that one soon. Either at Napleton’s Acura or maybe with an Audi - I hear their product is ranked higher. I don’t care if you live in Pembroke Pines - make the drive to Napleton’s, it’s worth it. Literally the only reason we went to Pembroke Pines was because Napleton’s didn’t have a used MDX we liked. We’ll never go back to Pembroke. Check the ratings online… it’s not just me that has issue with them.

purchased a beautiful 2016 Acura TLX

by karen_1 on 02/03/2016

I reviewed Acura ILX and the Ford SUV Escape on the internet. I was a proud Ford owner of the same vehicle for over 14 years trouble free. I had received an internet quote from Alex D'Roa from Acura of Pembroke Pines. After running an errand, I decided to stop by the dealership as it was close by, and felt it was time to take a test drive. I was leaning toward the Ford, but I needed to make up my mind. Alex was available and was helpful, courteous, and informative. He was able to meet the trade in value for my old vehicle that CarMax had quoted, which went a long way in achieving the price I wanted to pay. Instead of an ILX, I test drove a TLX as by time the options were added to the ILX, the price difference was not tremendous. The TLX is much larger, more options, safer, better reputation, classy, and has a huge cargo area. That kind of ruled out the need for an SUV. Well, had a wonderful test drive. Automobiles have certainly changed over the past decade and a half. I was not very happy with the price, so he offered to show me a 2015 TLX with many more options with 20,000 miles for several thousand dollars less. I felt the mileage was to high. I thought I knew what color I wanted, but he mentioned a black copper color outside with ebony leather interior. He disappeared and came back to the showroom with a 2016 TLX with those colors. WOW. I was ready to deal. Acuras kind of sell themselves. That was not my intention to purchase any vehicle that evening. So, we went back and forth on the price and came to an acceptable conclusion. Alex patiently stayed late into the night explaining the technology, setting up my phone, and showing me how to use the wonderful features that an Acura comes with. He offered several times that he will be available for me if I have questions or any problems. There was no pressure on his side at all to seal the deal. The financial manager was great, once he understood that I put very few miles on my vehicle on a yearly basis. Therefore, what he was offering did not apply to me. I have not had my vehicle serviced yet.

Excellent Dealership

by uricola on 12/16/2015

Had a great experience with both the sales department and the finance dept.. My overall experience was excellent, Alex D'Roa was my sales consultant and took care of both my purchases of a Lexus IS 250 and a Acura RDX. The initial attention started out and never stopped until both vehicles were delivered. The finance Director Doug Campbell was great and help make both deals a wonderful experience. I know this will be the place I look for alll my future vehicles. Great dealership and love the free car washes! Dennis Uricola Weston Fl

So rude

by Jack2810 on 09/25/2015

I live in Sarasota and i found a used Acura online. I called them and they transfered me to sales manager named Donal. I said I wanna make deal before i come because I live so far from you. He said: You have to come and test drive, its so rediculous to make a deal and then you dont like it. It wastes my time. And then I said : why you get upset with me? Because It takes me 4 hours go to ur place and another 4 hours to come back. He is totally rude an impolite. I never think a luxury car dealer treat customers like scrum. If you have money, you should go to another place where treat you like Lord. DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALER.

2015 TLX V6 Tech

by gsmartin3 on 10/04/2014

This is my third TL/TLX from Acura of PP. I've always had a great experience with the dealership in both sales and service. The new TLX is a really great vehicle! It is crammed with tech goodies. The interior is gorgeous. Got the Black Copper Pearl and Parchment combo. Beautiful! Last car 2012 TL Tech, really good car. 2015 TLX is so much better in every way. It is also the quietest Acura I've ever had! Giovanni Vargas was a great sales rep. He took the time to explain all of the features before I left. From start to finish, including test drive, I was only there about 2 hours!

Do not buy from Acura of Pembroke Pines

by GeorgeLaborde on 06/07/2014

If you are looking to purchase a used car from Acura of Pembroke Pines, look somewhere else. I have purchased a car I really liked but have not even reached 1000 miles before the 30 days since date of purchase and all kinds of issues are happening with the BMW X3 I purchased. When I inquired about getting help with the repairs or my money back they just provided an annoyed attitude with me and my situation. They may have better new car dept, however stay away from purchasing a used car from this place. Email me at [Email removed] and I will take my time to explain everything in detail.

Excellent in Every Way

by kb1963 on 04/05/2014

This is my second Acura from this dealership and I am very satisfied with my experience. Their service department is excellent, the sales staff attentive and professional, and the follow up you receive after a sale or service is exceptional.

Do not buy here

by FloridaJ on 04/14/2013

I purchased a preowned Audi from this dealership. Everything seemed to go smooth. I had a preapproved credit from USAA, so the payment was no issue. I took the car for a testdrive and besides minor things it seemed okay to me. I noted some things, that I wanted replaced before purchase, coinholder, lightswitch and backseat cover as well as new tires. I asked if the top of the convertible had any leaking, sales rep said no. The trunk didnt open, but they said they fixed issue. (Which they didn't) I was told the used car goes through the same inspection as a certified Acura would go through and the car has no issues and their reputation is more important than just selling a car by any means I was told. I ended up buying the car, happy to have a convertible for the Florida Sunshine I drove off the lot and home to my house. Just the following day the Checkengine light came on, as well as the gearshift indicator which was flashing. I called Robert, my Sales rep and he said, they would look into it. I brought the car for repair and to get the ordered parts, got a nice loaner. I was told the issue would have been a TMC sensor, but they would look further into it. No lights were flashing. I was happy. As soon as I drove on the highway checkengine light came on again and Gearshift indicator started blinking again. When stoping at a light the car started to jump and also at times when backing up it started jumping which could be a safety hazard and indanger my health and the safety of others. I called Robert and told him about the problem which still exists. He said he spoke to his service manager and everything regarding this TMC sensor and faulty transmission would only be able to get fixed, if I pay for it myself. I was shocked. How can you sell me a car with a faulty transmission. I spoke to Audi and they said, a inspection of the vehicle by Acura should have shown the issue. I made a complaint to BBB and FTC, with no response from Acura of Pembroke Pines. Not only they don't care about the customer, they have also no regards for Life and Wellbeing of customer and others who are on the road, when selling a faulty vehicle with transmission issues. I want to point out the Audi only had 59k miles, so therefore I did not expect a transmission problem. I relied on the expertise of the Acura Mechanic staff to inspect a vehicle properly according to their point inspection list, but was sadly dissapointed. I demand Customer Service and I want my vehicle fixed. This is crazy. Plese save yourself trouble and disappointment and buy your car elsewhere.

Thanks you

by sergii on 02/26/2012

First of all. I never have written any kind of on-line review. Let's describe you my situation. I had the long negotiation processes with lot of dealerships in order to get the lowest OTD price. And the finally I got out the door price which was lower than MSPR + delivery of car. It was in other one dealership which then asked me to pay a security deposit in order to secure a deal. I reject this idea as way to organize an additional pressure to me on later stages, so I decided to go to the dealership myself in Monday. We agreed about time. Saturday morning I've got proposition to pay deposit again then I looked to their inventory and did not discover the car. I just asked have you sold it? And got the answer - yep on Friday ... It was incredibly unfair ask me to pay deposit on time when the car has already sold ...They proposed to buy an other one car in different color. What I have to do? Price was so good actually the only price I was ready to pay. Then I comeback to negotiation with other Acura's dealers. Actually during the more than month negotiations I got huge amount of propositions. And some of them look promising. One was from a guy with name of Rick Owen. Now he works in Acura of Premboke Pines and he is their new internet sale manager. Actually I had negotiated with him month ago when he worked in an other one Acura's dealership. His old proposition was good too, but probably not so perfect. This time he promised that he can sell me the car in the right co lour a little cheaper than first dealership and in time and in needed color! Just asked me believe in his faith. Probably someone would say that I'm stupid, but I believed him and decided to go to their dealership today (Saturday). No tricks, no last minutes fees. Nothing irritating! We have done a test drive with jokes and in a good mood. Four hours latter I got the car. No so fast, but actually not so long. Do you agree? The final result? I've got a new Acura TSX by desired price and in desired combination of colours. I've got an additional bonus from dealership, like cargo tray, all season mats and secured wheel locks as 300$ value. And in the end of the way their Financial Department in face of Nelson provide the financing with 0.9 APR. What can I add to my story? I saved 3000$, got presents from the dealership and got a good financing. I will definitely recommend this dealership to my friends. Of course people will say, this post is AD and I agree this review is AD the AD of good work which were done in my particular case. Thanks you, guys!!!

Unpleasant experience

by msharkey on 05/17/2011

Me and m wife were at acura of pembroke pines to buy new vehicle. Saleperson was very good and showed us vehicles. we felt very happy and went back to delership to purchase. When the pricing was disclosed to my surprise the initial price was way higher than other dealership and when we gave our price. Sales Manager was very rude and asked us if we were drunk. No decency before ladies. He was giving all BS about shortages in supply and treating us that we were idiots and he is educating us in buying cars. We told we don't want buy and asked our trade in keys back, he took us to private area and started cursing us saying you guys are rediculous morons etc., Other sales manager also came in that area and ganged up. we felt very threatened and my wife started crying. we almost ran off from dealership in fear. we called general manager later and told him what happened. He was with his rude employees and supported them. I never wrote a bad review on anyone until now. I am forced to write about them so that no one will have same experience as us. If you want to buy a car in hostile environment and if you wanted to be treated as idiots you can shop there.
