Stay Away From Bill Ray!

by Mahdey13 on 06/13/2017

Purchased a brand new 2017 Nissan Maxima SR, from day one this has been a horrible experience. The emblem was already missing paint in the lettering, the stitching on the steering wheel looks sloppy, the back black spoiler was scratched up. While I was getting the windows tinted at a tint shop it was brought to my attention that the back left window had a deep scratch from when they removed the promotional material/pricing taped on the window (when I called my sales rep she lied to me about on which window they put the pricing information) ultimately repaired it when it became obvious that I wasn't letting that fly. The sales rep tried to overcharge for the vehicle($8,000 more than what I actually purchased the car for). Only reason I didn't pay that price was because I went home and looked Online. Then lied to me about multiple features of the SD card and Camera and the fact that they offer complementary full car washes(LIE ALSO) That's just the purchasing experience.... now onto the service department, they are constantly changing staff so very difficult to build a lasting relationship with one of there reps, they cleaned the interior of my car and scratched up the center console with a dirty rag(denied and LIED about it)and yesterday after my oil change I noticed a nice mark ($300 damage) where the lift goes. It's obviously from the lift positioning however they vehemently denied it, argued with me and lied. To add humor to the situation they are so concerned with there rating through Nissan to where they will coach you on the reviews, pure un professionalism. The General manager told me to give him a call if I had any problems and guess what? I called left a voicemail and never heard from the GM, pure lip service. I will never purchase another car from them, and I would never recommend anyone go here to purchase a car or service your car.. STAY AWAY! They are nothing but a bunch of misleading [non-permissible content removed].. It starts with Ownership then down to management and trickles down to there sales reps. Sat down with the owners son, Brian, and his only concern is my online REVIEW. He continued to deny it happened at there dealership and essentially wasted our time to come out to the dealership. We left frustrated and disappointed realizing these people only care about themselves, the bottom dollar and not the buyers experience. Save your self a headache and get as far away from this dealership as possible!!

Best Buying Experience

by summersaggie on 06/06/2016

My husband and I recently bought a new vehicle at Bill Ray Nissan and the whole experience was wonderful. Everyone that we dealt with from the moment we stepped onto the property was friendly and helpful. I felt like we were among friends. Do yourself a favor and call Bill Ray Nissan before you go to anyone else.

Best car buying experience so far

by Gabor75 on 02/10/2014

I don't normally write reviews, but I wanted to say that these guys were great. I have been looking at buying a 2014 370z for about 3 or 4 months. I kept getting these crazy high quotes. I then decided to email a dozen random dealerships across the state. This guy named Bo came back with a really good OTD offer. No BS. I drove from Fort Lauderdale to Orlando to get the car. I was in and out in 2 hours. This is the best car buying experience I ever had. I would seriously recommend driving there if you want a good deal.

first time buyer - they were decent

by jberolo on 10/08/2013

I found the LEAF I wanted to buy on the web and contacted this dealership. Overall the experience was good. They did not play any games and worked with me on a price we were both happy with. When I went to finalize the paperwork - Everyone that worked with me from the Internet Sales Mgr to the Finance "guy" were professional and courteous. I don't live in the area, but I would go back to them if the opportunity comes up again.

2012 Nissan Sentra S

by bls7 on 10/08/2012

Bo in the internet department was very helpfull in the decision making process without being pushey like most salesman/dealerships can be. They gave me a price that was by far better than any other dealers within a 100 mile radius. Not sure why other dealers can't at least give you this info before you spend hours of wasted time and gas to get a price. If you want to sell vehicles you will treat people the way they treated us. Be up front and give you a great deal from the start. We paid well below the best prices listed on any off the research web sites!!! Thanks for everything.

2006 Nissan Pathfinder LE purchased

by mgonzalez on 06/13/2012

Straight forward negotiations. No hassle. Service department is efficient. They have helped me file warranty claims with Nissan when I thought I would be denied. Would recommend this dealership as of this writing.

The Best Dealership in Orlando

by john565 on 01/22/2012

I went to Bill Ray Nissan after reading the reviews and was a little worried. But working a deal with Bo and Van I think that it was just a case of not getting what you wanted or "sour grapes". They went above and beyond to make sure that everything was perfect. They gave the best price and they both were so polite that I felt like I was at home. I would recommend Bill Ray Nissan to anyone who wants to buy a new Nissan!!!!!!!

Felix Espinal will work hard to make your purchase hassle free

by imakeunumb on 05/24/2011

I received an internet special offer on an 2011 Altima SL, a price that beat the USAA price (zag.com). Long story short, I drove over 100 miles to make this deal and it all worked out perfectly. No hassles at all. On of the best car buying experiences my wife and I ever had! Felix, Nick, Joey, and Frederick, thank you for your courtesy. Believe me, I am a very hard person to please, I shopped around extensively, I knew every aspect of this deal to the penny, and if you do your homework, you will end up with the car you want at the price you want to pay!

Stay Away!

by aaa111 on 05/28/2010

After several days of going back and forth in e-mail with one of the internet sales guys I drove 45 minutes to the dealership to do the deal. The whole way through we were working on a $0 down, $0 out of pocket, sign and drive lease. Then we get ready to do the paperwork and he informs me that I have to make the first payment plus additional fees. I ended up getting the deal that I wanted at another dealerhip in Central Florida. Don't waste your time driving out there because of the ads on their website or BS they you give in e-mail. Go elsewhere and avoid the hassle!

Bought 2 cars from Billy Ray

by pursuit26 on 05/22/2010

We bought our 2009 Murano LE and my son's 2010 Sentra SE-R. No issues. I knew what I was going to pay going in the door. They met the price and we got the deal done in short order. They delivered on the cargo mat for the Murano, delivered the Sentra to our house and have always been professional and curtious. If I have any complaints at all it would be that I did not work with Rick Vatter when I bought the Murano. He is straight forward, knows what his job is (to sell you a car) and what my job is ( to get the best price and car that I want). He follows up, does not mess around and when I buy my next Nissan, I will go back to him.

UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!

by kkareem on 02/15/2010

We went to Bill Ray Nissan several years ago and left without buying a car because we felt the price was too high and the sale manager was [violative content deleted]. We knew we could get a better price somewhere else (and we did, plus we were treated better, too). Then several years later we were back in the market for another car. This time, the cute little car, Versa, just went on the market. We thought maybe the people that we dealt with the previous time were gone and all new people would be working there. Well, yes, there were all new people there, but the same thing happened. The salesman was trying to push us into spending more than I knew we needed to. Then when it came to our trade-in, they didn't want to give what the car was worth. To do that, the sales manager insulted us about our trade in. The car was spotless, so since he couldn't find anything on the car to complain about, he said it was because of the dirt marks on the mat! The mat, which I paid $20 for at Walmart!! Can you believe it!!?? Eventually, we ended up buying a Versa, but we bought it at [another dealership], and we were very happy with that dealership. My advice is STAY AWAY FROM BILL RAY NISSAN!!

First Class Operation - Top Quality Sales and Customer Service

by robhm on 02/01/2010

My first car purchase from Bill Ray was a new 2006 350Z. Bill Ray offered me the best price by far of all the dealers I shopped. A gentleman named Frederick Farrington quoted me one firm price for the car over the phone, and that was exactly the price I paid when I left the dealer with my car. When I arrived at Bill Ray Nissan to do the transaction, Mr. Farrington greeted me and referred me over to Mr. Philip Copeland. Mr. Copeland made me feel totally at ease with all of the financing and registration issues, while being a gracious host. He liaised with a number of his co-workers on my behalf, from folks in the garage to the finance department, juggling many details, never missing beat, and doing it all with a smile and positive attitude. He also thoroughly explained all of the many 350Z vehicle features for me. The competitive price and outstanding service I received from Bill Ray exceeded my expectations. I recently purchased another new car from Bill Ray, a 370Z. Again, Bill Ray's price was the most competitive, and their sales practices were the most professional of the dozen Nissan dealers I contacted. The people I dealt with at Bill Ray Nissan are, in my opinion, a credit to the automotive dealing industry. I would recomend this dealer to family members.

Deception in Sales, Advertising

by frankvoice on 12/10/2009

Bill Ray Nissan advertised a 2002 Mercury with 45,000 miles, CD player, and keyless entry. Price was good because they were selling on consignment. As the sales papers were being drawn up, they removed the JVC sound system with the CD player and put back the original Mercury system with a tape deck. Sales presented me with a remote key ring for the "keyless entry" system. It didn't work. He told me to take it to a Mercury dealer and they would "reset" it for me. Took it to Mercury in Lakeland. They tried repeatedly with no luck. They finally ran the V.I.N. back to the manufacture of the car and discovered that it had NEVER had keyless entry.

VERY DECEPTIVE SALES PROCESS AT BILL RAY NISSAN

by mikelevine64 on 10/23/2008

As a sales manager for Bill Ray Nissan Fred Farrington is extremely misleading when quoting vehicle pricing. Fred continually changes his pricing & when asked to provide his best price Fred gives you a price & than changes the price soon after. VERY DECEPTIVE SALES PROCESS AT BILL RAY NISSAN I WOULD AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP !
