Excellent service and sales experience

by MicheleP. on 01/04/2018

Ray was very attentive to my needs and wants. He found a Sentra on the lot that met all my needs and then some. He even set up my flip phone to access the Bluetooth feature. I had just intended to get my Sentra serviced but Ray helped broker a deal that was entirely satisfactory to me. I'm a happy repeat customer.

Awesome!

by LorettaC on 12/17/2017

My husband and I just bought a 2017.5 Platinum Nissan Murano from Mickey Dawson and Brian Young at Gainesville Nissan. These two men are the most honest and fair salesmen we’ve ever dealt with and we truly had a pleasant experience at this dealership. The sales manager, TJ, is great as well, and truly a man of his word! I’d also like to give a shout out to Roger, who referred me to Mickey. We went all over searching for the best deal on this car-Lake City, Valdosta, St. Augustine, Orange Park and Gainesville. Gainesville Nissan crushed the competition! With Mickey, TJ, and Brian, we truly had a no hassle, even pleasant, buying experience! Since the sale, both Mickey and Brian have contacted us to make sure everything is okay with the vehicle. After the first few minutes of chatting with Mickey, we felt as though we’ve known him forever. He is truly awesome! If you’re looking for honesty, integrity, and no hassle buying for your next vehicle purchase, it’s worth the drive to see Mickey or Brian at Gainesville Nissan! And the car? Wow! This is our second Murano, and we love it!

Another great deal at Gainesville Nissan with TJ and Brandon. We bought our Pathfinder last year from TJ and was back this year with our daughter to buy a Rogue. TJ and Brandon make the buying experience a breeze. It was a quick and smooth transaction with excellent customer service. Thanks again guys for all your hard work and help with making it easy and enjoyable.

Gainesville Nissan came through for us!!

by Lindagg on 12/09/2014

I knew I wanted to purchase a Nissan Altima and had picked one out online. Gary Morrison did a great job explaining all of the features. We got a great deal. Gary was a good listener. He was able to convey that he wanted our business without being too pushy. This is our second Nissan--we'll definitely be back for more in the future. The rest of the team was top notch. They all wanted to help:-)

my experance with gainesville nissan

by stacy49 on 11/08/2013

I have purchased 6 new vehicles in my life before the 2 new ones at gainesville nissan the personell that I delt with(Michell for the altama and Roger for the rogue ) trreated my wife and I very respectfully at all times and was very conderate of our time. every thing we discussed was done to our satisfaction and all buisness was done in a very timely matter. the personell that I have delt with upon every visit at this dealership treated me like family and goes well beyond my expectations to ensure everything is to my satisfaction. the dealership even call from time to time to ensure my vehicle is what my wife and myself expected from it if all of the other salse persons (and I am quite sure thy are) are like the ones I have delt with would be very glad the used this dealership. I will gladly reccomend these people and dealership to everyone. of all the dealerships I have ever delt with I will gladly rate you a five star rating

Really Shady. Be Careful of your price!

by johnlin on 03/25/2011

Ok today i went to that nissan place i looked at a Nissan Altima. The listed price was 17,999. I offered them 13,000 out the door and they told me they can't sell at that price so i raised it by 500 and they still say no. So i told them we just going to look around and check the different prices. So, he finally agreed then somehow he went and drove another cheaper altima to the front of the store. Then when it came to signing all the paper work. They tried to confuse me by charging me 3000 dollars into the financing. Kris thought that since i am chinese i wouldn't know how to read that paper correctly. we asked for 24month financing and he extend it to 42 months and made the monthly payment lower to make us think that we are actually only charged 13,000 dollars. Then when i told them about it he said his manager made a mistake and agree to the other altima that kris , the salesman drove up. He said he can't sell it to us for 13,500. Somehow he made us pay the downpayment before we sign the paper work. when i told them i don't want to buy it they told me they have already deposit the downpayment in the bank and said they can't return it till a few days. WTF i just gave them the checks. Then i started arguing with them and then they told me the cheapest price they will take the altima i wanted for was 15500 out the door. By that time i was pissed they lied to me. now they saying i was insulting them by offering them a really low offer. I told them i don't care for anyprice over 13500 out the door because i didn't really even trust them anymore. When a business lost my trust i weren't want to do business with them anymore. So i told them its that price or we want our check back. After 30 minutes of being rude to me and making me sit there and wait they finally said they actually put the check in a security box and their manager is going to get it. While i was waiting another 20 minute for the rude manager to get the check. Kris went online and look up the reviews for my business and started harassing me abou the bad reviews my business is getting. OMG Then when i finally got my check back the manager asked me why we would insult them by offering them a really low price. Right after he said that he asked me why don't i buy the altima at the cheap price he is offering. OMG!!!!!!!!! Never ever going there again. I never had an experience like that ever.

Awesome Car Buying Experience

by lovemycube1 on 03/21/2010

My 18 year old daughter wrecked her elderly Pontiac, and it was going to cost more than the value of the car to repair it. Hence, we started the painful process of car shopping. As she is off to college in less than six months, reliability and safety were of paramount importance in our decision making. Respectable gas mileage being a secondary factor. Since whatever she purchased needed to last her through grad school, we were looking for something with low miles, too. Tall order on a limited budget! The first place we stopped was Gainesville Nissan, and how fortunate we were to be greeted by Gary. His easy-going demeanor, product knowledge, roots in the community and character impressed us immediately. She test-drove a 2009 Cube, and loved it. The car was brand new, but heavily discounted. A really good deal, but since it was our first stop, we continued our plan to view the other cars we'd found on line. We drove a couple of Scions, a Rio and checked out an Element, all used, and pretty close to the same price as the Cube, all with over 20k miles, and less than half of the warranty remaining. So, we went back to Gary, traded in my six year old, 83k miles, averaging 17 MPG, Honda Odyssey and bought TWO brand new Cubes that we expect will get 30 MPG "ish", one for me and one for my daughter! We purchased 100,000 miles extra warranty and GAP insurance on each and Anthony, the amazing finance guy, worked his magic and my payments total only $49 higher per month than I'd initially planned! SWEET!! Thanks, Gary, Anthony and Gainesville Nissan, for taking such good care of me and my daughter.

Untrustworthy Sales Guy Muddies Rep of Good Dealer

by talent312 on 06/27/2009

This relates to an Altima 2.5S CVT with both convenience + convenience plus, alum. kickplates, floor mats and splash guards. MSRP = $24,890 (plus some dealer tack ons). Actual Invoice = $23,156 (per Edmunds.com). Edmunds' TMV = $21,102 (after $1,500 rebate), ------------------------------------ The salesguy and I agree to $20K (they keep the rebate) plus tax, tag & title (or so I thought). We sit down at his table and he disappears. About 45 minutes later, the "business manager" has us signing papers and I'm expecting to see $21.5K at the top of the contract. Instead it reads ~ $22K+. "[violative content deleted]?" There's also a pre-printed "handling fee" of $599 which had not been mentioned. I'm ticked and ready to walk. However, my wife is with me and, although this was to be "my" car, it's the one she wants. So instead of making a scene (as I'm tempted to do), we agree to a compromise... After the $1,500 rebate... $20,384 (or $20,943 w-handling fee tacked on). Still, under Invoice, close to Edmund's TMV, and much less than the prices from car-buying services. Going with a car-buying service would have cost me money. Bottom Line: I regret not walking out and telling the [violative content deleted] to call us, if he decided to keep his word. But I think that we ended up with a decent price, anyway. I did find it funny after all that, that he had the gal to ask me for a favorable review in the survey. LOL.

Easiest Car Purchase ever

by duke411 on 04/22/2009

After reviewing the Nissan Maxima on edmunds.com, I realized this was the car that I want. I emailed the dealer, and was contacted by Elijah Miller. He offered availability, explained the options and packages, and offered a price on a new and pre-owned Maxima. After shopping several Nissan dealers within a 100 mile radius, I found the quote was very competitive. I visited the dealer on 3 different occasions, because I wasnt sure of the package or color combination that I liked best. Elijah was always very helpful, never pushy, and always made time for me. I found this to be unique and different from past car buying experiences. After finally getting my financing set, deciding on the perfect car for me, and gathering all of my research, I decided to contact Gainesville Nissan again. Elijah was able to match my best quote from out of the area. What a pleasant surpise! Car buying is usually "pulling teeth". This has been a terrific experience for my family and I. Everyone at the dealer was so friendly, down to the detailer who made sure I was happy with the detail of the finished product. The way we were treated made us feel as if we had just won the lottery. I will always remember the way Elijah and Anthony (finance) treated us. They even scheduled our first oil change for free, and topped off the gas tank. Furthermore, we have been followed up with in the last few days to make sure we understand how to work all of the equipment. What great service! These guys will always have our business, as well as my friends and family. Keep up the great work Gainesville Nissan!

Broken Promises

by Melizalee3 on 02/06/2009

I received several emails from Internet manager Elijah Miller offering me "special" pricing on an Altima. Then one evening I received a phone call from him. He told me that they were having this "special" and that he could put me in an Altima for 0 down and payments that I could afford. I told him absolutely everything that may interfer with me getting financed. His response to everything was "NO PROBLEM". When I arrived at the lot it seemed everything was a problem. He wanted to help me out so much that he gave me the number to his friend at another lot; who could help me out. Yeah- they tried to help me by putting me into a banged up Accord with over 195,000 miles.

A Real Shady Lot

by bdaniels352 on 10/07/2008

I got an email from the internet manager, Elijah Miller, offering $10,000 off the sticker price on 2 of their 2009 Nissan Murano's. I asked which ones and he told me there were two program cars that had 14-15k miles on them showing in his pre-owned inventory online. I was interested in one that was listed at $24,995 -- a standard S model, no options. I asked if that meant that the price he was offering was $14,995. He replied that the sticker price was $32,570 -- discounted to $22,570. Well, thanks to Edmunds.com, I knew that the MSRP on this car, brand new with no options was $26,870 so I asked him what options this car included that justified the $5700 difference. He replied and totally ignored my question and instead offered me a fully loaded SL model at invoice price -- starting his email with "Here's a deal for you!" I replied that I wasn't interested in the SL and wanted him to answer my question about the used 2009 S. He replied, "It was on an S AWD with Leather and DVD added that was sold over the weekend." Funny, huh? Especially considering his email to me indicating that these were two listed in his pre-owned inventory (the ONLY two Murano's) was sent on Monday at Noon. Now... all of a sudden, the car he was talking about was sold over the weekend? What crap! I replied to his email revealing that I knew he was trying to pull one over on me and that I'd be taking my business elsewhere. These people are obviously trying to use the old "bait and switch" maneuver and assume that consumers are uninformed about what they should pay for a car. I really didn't think this sort of thing still happened but it does. Just remember... no matter how nice these sales people pretend to be, THEY ARE NOT YOUR FRIENDS. They are only looking out for their best interest and will lie and cheat to make a buck.
