Overall your service department is top notch and one of the highest quality that I have seen in any dealership! But there are a couple of your employees that stand out above the rest. First I would like to say that I am currently overseas and my wife has been dealing with all the car issues by herself since I left. With that being said I would first like to thank Cari Bailey for her honest and respectful personality that made my wife feel right at home and for once someone actually listened and understood her situation, responded promptly, and tried her best to save us money and get my wife in and out as quickly as possible! Unfortunately Cari was not able to fix the problem but her efforts and attitude truly made the situation much better. Second I would like to thank Kasi Dent who was also very kind and respectful and made an extra effort to ensure that my wife was fully taken care of and even helped her carry all the stuff from the SUV to our other vehicle! It's rare to find people willing to go out of their way and go above and beyond their normal job just to make sure to take care of customers. I was very impressed with the professionalism by Don Jeffries as well as Joann Jeffries. Don went above and beyond to answer all my questions and provided plenty of helpful information throughout the entire process. Joann did an amazing job of putting the best financial package together for me. They both worked very hard to make my car buying experience quick and easy. Great waiting area. You all were very busy and I was comfortable while I waited. The only issues is no one came and got me when my SUV was ready. I walked out after 2 hours and found it just sitting there. That was frustrating because I needed to get back to work. Cassie was nowhere to be found. The other cashier had to find my ticket so I could finish up and leave.

Great job,but lacked some care for personal belongings

Had to go in to repair the shifter cable,as per a recall. Got a free clean and detail because I was there for six hours the previous time. Great job cleaning the car,but they left off a panel near the gas pedal that I had to put back on,they put my car magnet back on upside down,and left a college notebook on the floor that I had in the seat prior to the detail. In all,great job, but maybe a little more care and attention would've been nice.

Our buying experience at Preston Hood was a great experience. Our salesman Paul was a great salesman. He made our buying experience non stressful. He was very caring, and sincere about our needs. He was not pushy, like most salesmen, and seemed to be very genuine. The manager was also great to work with. He handled some concerns that we had after our purchase in a very caring, and professional manner. We will definitely make any other future car purchases from Preston Hood.

Dissatified but Still Love Preston Hood

Normally my experience is great but the past 2 visits I make them aware that I am on a time crunch and need to leave at a certain time. Example: Yesterday my appt was at 9:30 am and I needed to be gone by 12:30 pm b/c I had a 1:00 pm appt. but I didn't leave until 1:10pm. Also I don't feel I should have had to pay to have my windshield wiper replaced when I purchased my vehicle only 2 months ago. The left wiper left a streak when used. Overall I still enjoy going to Preston Hood.

In 1929, Arthur E. Hood could see past the struggles of the Great Depression and recognized that the automobile industry held promise for the future. He opened a Chevrolet dealership in space rented from a livery stable in Amite, La., with hopes and dreams of providing for his family during an economically troubling time.
Arthur served as the only salesperson, and his word was as good as his name. Soon the dealership flourished, and the cornerstone of the Hood legacy was secured for years to come.
After serving in World War II, Arthur Jr. and Thomas were pleased to join their father in the dealership, and together they grew what had become a family business in southeast Louisiana. In February 1962, Arthur Jr. and Arthur Sr. purchased a dealership in Fort Walton Beach. Seven years later, Arthur Jr.'s son, Preston, purchased the Florida dealership from his father and grandfather, and Preston Hood Chevrolet was born.
