Poor service and communication at Victory Layne Dealership

5 Sept 2023 DOS 7-Sept-23, at Victory Layne Chevy in Fort Myers Florida Complaint , We wanted to have the air conditioning checked on my 2016 Tahoe because it was running warmer then it should. I've had it to Victory Layne Dealer many times for routine service so we figured it would need some refrigerant. After being there two hours ,Denis came out and told me that they couldn't find the leak even tho we thought it was just low on refrigerant. He said it would take many hours of labor and maybe take the dash out to look at the evaporator and the condenser and on and on. On that day,Denis  Iraheta quoted me $1376 to fix everything  out the door so had no choice, we were on the spot, so we reluctantly agreed but did not get it in writing.They kept it overnight and he told us to find a ride home because they didn't offer us  any replacement saying we never have any loaners for anybody. The next day they called and said they have the part to put in called an evaporator . The Invoice later showed with the parts including the dye ,evaporator, refrigerant and seals at $520 the labor was over $857 ( I don't even know how many hours that is) and their diagnosis was that they replaced the rear evaporator and recharged with 16 units of refrigerant . Well four days later the air conditioning is still not cooling well ( the same)  and I'm out almost $1400. When I went to pay the cashier I found out that Denis  had misquoted himself and I had to pay tax which he neglected to tell me was not included in “out the door” How he knew, the day ( the 7th of Sept) before the car was even diagnosed ( 8th of Sept) what they would find and fix, and the parts would be and the cost of labor is unknown to me. When I confronted Denis with this price increase he totally lied and said that he never said that. He asked the manager next to him and the manager agreed with him who had never seen me at all. All in all, I never got my air conditioner fixed so that it cools better than it did before. It cost me over $1500 for what I believe was need for refrigerant ?, and at this point ,just a overpriced bill that was miss quoted to me by your service advisor rep, Denis ,the day prior to replacing the” part “. Also we were basically thrown out when they decided to keep our car overnight with no assistance to get home. All in all ,we are probably also at fault for putting our trust in this dealership where we had been going for over six years with our Chevy Tahoe. Please look into this matter and get back to me. I know you want me to bring the car back in to be looked at but I'm afraid of another $2000 bill and severe inconvenience and still no results. We appreciate your response. I called the dealership five days ago told them my story. I have not heard back. I'm not sure how this dealership sleeps at night. Good luck with them.

Awful …

I’m really disappointed. I used to love this place, but ever since big mike left this place has gone severely downhill. I have not be treated right at all. Got into an accident and had my car fixed at the dealership …they were rude the whole time. In addition my car was “finished” with a completely flat tire and fresh nail in it. When I haven’t driven it over two weeks and y’all test drove it…it seems weird the multiple times I came around to talk to you guys or get things from my car the tire was never flat… now it is? My dad patched it and now I’m sitting here wasting more time getting tires changed ! Horrible customer service. Horrible condition for my car to come back “finished” in. So many things aren’t event put back together my dad had to fix it.

Cat even rotate tires correctly

Wanted ALL 5 tires rotated, MADE IT VER CLEAR! Cars ready? GUSS WHAT. NOT 5 TIRE ROTATION BUT 4 that took 3 hours after waiting 2.5 months for appointment while warranty expired!!!!!

Victory Lane Service Department is the best

We have taken our 2018 Spark to Victory Lane service Deparement for 5 years and the Service Department is the best. We have also taken our 2017 Sonic there for the past 5 years also. We have a new 2023 AWD Blazer Premier, which even though we purchased our vehicles at Ferman Chevrolet in Tampa, we love the Service Department at Victory Lane Chevrolet. Unfortunately, Victory Lane Sales Department has no allocations, so we purchased the Spark and Blazer new from Ferman. But while Ferman Sales is 5 Stars, Ferman's Service Department is not even 1 star. We had the worst experience when we took our new 2023 back with only 200 miles for a warranty problem. Ferman Service Department was rude to us and did not fix the problem. We then took it to Victory Lane's Service Department and they squeezed us in since they had no appointments for months. They fix the problem, which was a part of the sunroof was installed wrong, which caused it to make noise and probably would have leaked. After retiring, we decided to switch to Chevrolet vehicles. Prior to moving to Florida, I used to order custom BMWs and Mercedes Benz, whose service was top-notch. But after the last 5 years in dealing with Victory Lane Service Department, I must admit that they have provided us with the best service we have ever received. Because the Victory Lane Service Department, we will continue to buy Chevrolets in the future and recommend them to our friends. I wish Victory Lane Sales department would get more allocations so we would not have to order our vehicles from Ferman Chevrolet.

Pure Excellence!

Anything you need done no matter what you drive the service department here actually cares about your vehicle and is fair/honest every step of the way!! Maggie and Iren are phenomenal but that’s not all their entire team there is incredible! You are always welcomed from the moment you’re greeted at your car till the moment you walk out that door!! I also have to give props to there mechanic Tanner I had a lot of work done recently to get my dream ride top notch and let me tell you I haven’t had 1 problem since!! Look no further then Victory Layne Chevrolet!!

I used the shuttle service and your driver is the most friendly, professional shuttle driver. I never feel uncomfortable as a woman. The folks in the service department are so friendly and helpful. I have not had a bad experience yet. I hope I never do. Keep the staff you have and reward them appropriately to keep them!

This first oil change and check up deserves each of the five stars. The technician is fast and efficient, and kept the car clean. I was able to ask the technician several questions about the MyLink system and was able to get clarification immediately. All in all, an excellent and positive experience. I am extremely happy and very satisfied with the personalized service I received for my car.

Justin did an excellent job of directing us to the product that best fit our needs. He also explained all of our options available. After we selected the vehicle we wanted to purchase he spent a lot of time showing us how every thing on the vehicle worked. Also he help having the 5th wheel hitch removed from my old truck and added to the new one. I will go back to Justin in the future for my vehicle needs.

Great car buying experience!

Michael "Bear" G. was my sales rep. He assessed my needs from the info I gave him and provided me with options that gave me what I wanted within the price range I could afford. He made sure I was familiar with all the specifications of each vehicle so I could make an informed decision. He was very helpful and was able to answer all my questions to my satisfaction. After I chose the vehicle I wanted he basically took the ball from there & I just had to sign the dotted line! Once my car had been detailed and was ready to go he walked me through all the car's features and showed me how to use the many options of the sound system, the driver console display, and the OnStar system. Even helped me through the OnStar setup. I was very impressed with "Bear" and intend to recommend him and Victory Layne to anyone who tells me they are looking for a new vehicle.
