Purchased a vehicle on June 27. Noticed the AC was not blowing cold and told our sales person. Was assured it would be fixed. They charged the AC and it seemed fine. Purchased the car but the next day the AC was not cold again. Called and was told to bring car back in. It is an hour and half drive each way for us. They wanted to charge AC again. We said no since it didn't work the first time and asked for a diagnostic to be run. Service dept said the compressor was bad. Upon receiving the car back with a new compressor the AC seemed to be working but now the windshield wipers and fluid were not working. The car was taken back to service. When the car was returned we were told that no more repairs would be made since they now lost money. Now a month later the AC is not working again. Called and was told to come down once again. Service dept tells us it will cost $200 to run a diagnostic to see what is wrong and that does not include any parts and labor. Never were we informed there would be a charge. When asked if they do not warranty the work they had done was told yes, but they didn't feel it was the same issue. Red Flag! Was suggested we take the car to another dealership that might charge less. Took car to another dealership in the area. They said they knew the car since they had serviced it prior. They had diagnosed a AC Evap/Espansion valve issue will over $1000.00. How can they find the problem when Ed Morse couldn't not? Especially when you are particularly looking for the AC issue. I have called and left messages and sent all the managers an email with no response back. In the meantime I have a car with no AC while driving in 90 degree heat. I feel we were sold a car with a KNOWN issue and a bandaid was placed to get the car off the lot.

This is my second experience at Ed Morse Chevy in Sawgrass. My first purchase was a 2019 Saburban, my second a 2020 Blazer for my son. Kenny Carter assisted me both times. What I’m most impressed with is how Kenny manages to find me exactly what I’m looking for without trying to push me into something that is above or out of my budget point. I’ve visited other dealerships that do this. It frustrates me how you tell them what your price point is and they show you vehicles that are in completely different price points. Kenny listens and provides you with exactly what you can afford. He doesn’t waste your time. I’m also impressed with how fast the signing process was. I was in And out in an hour both times. This is how it should be done! When I purchased my daughter ands son’s vehicles at other dealerships- I had to spend The entire day. Ed Morse is considerate of the customer’s time.
