Great Experience

Long wait for LOF with an appointment

If I have an appointment to get an oil change at 8:3 and arrive 15 minutes early, I expect to get in and out. It took an hour and 45 minutes to get an oil change. When I was a tech at Buff Whelan Chevrolet in Michigan we had customers in and out in 30 minutes, 45 minutes if they wanted a free car wash. The tech at your dealership left his greasy forearm print on my driver's door that I had to clean when I got home.

Worst customer service possible

Without question the worst truck-buying experience of my life. Except for the salesman Lorenzo, it's clear that no one in that building, managers and the general manager included, gives a damn about customer service or gaining repeat business. I have spent multiple days returning to Chevy to get new wheels put on (which I paid for as part of my purchase agreement), only to be met with excuses and lies as to why they can't perform the service that day and to come back "tomorrow." This wastes my time and money and adds to the frustration and anger that should never accompany buying a new vehicle. No one there is on the same page. They all blame one another and are condescending when I question why they let me sit in the waiting room for hours before they tell me to come back another day. I spent a lot of money on a new truck, and it's disgusting that I have to deal with this level of unprofessionalism. And the new GM Angelo, offered me a free oil change to make up for it all, and when I balked, he had the audacity to say, "hey, it's better than nothing." Are you kidding me?!?! This place is a joke, and I will never return. In addition, I will make it well known on social media and any other outlet I can find that Greico Chevy is the absolute worst dealership to deal with in South Florida and needs to be avoided at all costs.

Professional, honest and efficient

I drove past a Chevy dealer near my home and went 20 miles south to have my car serviced at Greico. Why? Because I trust then.

Anybody home

The biggest challenge for me was getting anyone to even answer the phone in the service department to get my truck scheduled. It literally took me 3 times to call and a I honestly spent over 20 minutes between the 3 calls waiting for anyone to answer the phone. Then when you get there just wait to be greeted maybe by someone to take down your info? This dealer used to be 100xs better before they moved to their new facility although I also have seen a big difference in the staff there that made a difference. Not even the manager of the service department was kind of enough to return my call about this situation. So part of my frustration led me to trade in my Chevy and get a Ram truck. It was like from going from night to day.

New Suburban with No Service

I purchased a 2021 Suburban while trading in a 2018 Tahoe. This was my 7th Chevy in the last 20 years. My salesman was young and new, so I knew more about the vehicle than him, but I try to be supportive to new workers, so I filled in the blanks. Not only did my salesman make very little effort ( eg, when picking up new/trading in old, when I pointed out that the license plates needed to be transferred, he offered to "get me a screwdriver"! ), he didn't try to be helpful. He was only on the job about a month. When I called to follow up on all of the outstanding items, like floor mats, after several attempts, he texted me that he had been fired. Now I am trying to get some response from sales to help me and they don't want to know me! This is only 2 weeks after buying the new $70,000+ car!

General Incompetence

I leased a car from Grieco and the accounting by this dealer leaves something to be desired. I went into GM Financial website and it showed I owned them $.01. since all my payments were made on time I questioned why. It turns out that the dealer doesn't know how to properly determine the payment with the monthly tax. Additionally, they accepted a total of $.94 more than was due them. These sums are as you can see extremely low, however, it is the principal of the issue that is involved. Be careful and watch their calculations closely. Furthermore, They called me regarding my negative post and said they would send me $1.00 to take the post down. I agreed and took the post down, however, twice now in roughly the last month I was told that a $1.00 in cash had been sent to me. To date I haven't seen any money from them. I met my obligation that I agreed to, yet, Grieco has not. This is either an example of incompetence, or they just don't honor their commitments.

Complete [non-permissible content removed], Beware

This dealership is the worst ever! They Made a deal with me after I had a horrible experience on my third car deal at this dealership which was to do two years free maintenance and I got it in writing but when they wrote it down and signed it they only put down oil changes and tire rotations but what we talked about was fuel filters and wheel balancing all being included. Now that they have built a new dealership down the street they refused to honor the old deal even though it is signed by Mike Greico himself. They fired the guys that I was dealing with and now they think they don't have to honor the agreement they made because they are gone but that's not how it works, a contract is a contract. They are trying to get away with semantics by saying it does not say that we have to pay for the fuel filters or wheel balancing but that is what they told me and they have already done it two times and I have the receipts for those two times but they won't honor it now with the new GM. They are [non-permissible content removed] and they tell you whatever you want to hear so you buy the car. I bought a used pick up truck that was over $30,000 and they would not even put any gas in it and told me that they do not put gas into used cars!!! Can you believe it??? I am now an advocate against all Greico dealerships because they are all [non-permissible content removed] and I will tell everybody I know not to go there and it will be my mission to badmouth them to everyone I know. They could've solved this problem very easily but they made a very poor business decision by not wanting to pay for my fuel filters and tire rotations and gasoline on a car that I just purchased!!! They aren't very smart business people. I am now an advocate against all Greico dealerships because they are all [non-permissible content removed]. I have purchased three cars from them but now I will never buy another one and I will never have my vehicle serviced there either and I will turn all of my neighbors who go to their dealerships against them too.

FALSE ADVERTISING SCAM

Greico Chevrolet falsely advertises on Autotrader for a new vehicle which states: $13,107 off MSRP! 2019 Chevrolet Traverse LS Silver Ice Metallic Factory MSRP: $34,095. Price does includes: $2,000 - GM Consumer Cash Program. Exp. 10/31/2019, $250 - GM Extended Family Card and Buypower Card Bonus Cash Offer. Exp. 10/31/2019, $2,000 - GM Select Market Conquest Purchase Private Offer. Exp. 10/31/2019, $750 - Chevrolet Select Market Bonus Cash. Exp. 10/31/2019. Dealer asking price $20,988. This is deceptive, because it does not state the buyer must qualify for these discounts, it states Price Includes the Discounts. First I confirmed the price and other details on the phone with a salesman, then I wasted my time of 2 days driving 56 miles round trip to test drive the new vehicle and then to bring my trade in to be assessed, and wasted money for gas and having my trade professionally cleaned. I showed the manager the Autotrader ad, and he stated the price and info was wrong on Autotrader and he would have it corrected on Monday, and he stated that I did not qualify for most of the discounts and the best price he could do is $28,000, which is a $7,000 difference!!! It has been 11 days since, and they have not corrected the ad. Since they never corrected the ad and neither the manager or salesman apologized, it confirmed that this is standard practice with them to deceive potential customers.

awful experience

I purchased two cars from Greico Chevrolet within six months, I have to say they are the worst dealership I have ever encountered. Due to their sloppy book keeping, I was hand cuffed and nearly arrested when they registered my plates to the wrong vehicle. The most recent deal resulted in my licence being suspended twice.If not for my insurance company I would have lost all my policies. Two letters of suspension due to their carelessness. They offered NOTHING to remedy the hardships they created, just blamed the previous administration. I am a life long GM/Chevrolet customer now moving to Chrysler. If I could leave negative stars I would leave 5. Beware

My dealings with Grieco, specifically Doug Altean, were great. Things were friendly and efficient-we negotiated a win-win deal😊 There were a few things that were to be done to the car and they were done quickly and very well- Doug was unbelievable at following up with and organizing those items; he was even following up on his vacation to make sure everything went smoothly; his colleague Amy met me as I arrived to pick up the car and it was seamless-she was great!

Best Car Buying Experience of Our Lives

I cannot say enough good things about Grieco Chevrolet, and the pressure-free, personalized service we received from Barry Fox. We turned in a leased car and purchased a Certified 2016 Malibu, loaded, with only 11,800 miles. I did a lot of research online ahead of time, and the price at which Grieco offered the car was far lower than it would have been anywhere else. It was lower than similar cars at Carmax, Enterprise, Avis, or other local dealers, and had lower mileage than their cars and far more upgrades. It was considerably lower than the Kelley Blue Book value range for the car with this exact build, color, and mileage. From beginning to end, the entire process was calm, no-pressure, and stress-free. Thank you so much. We are Grieco customers for life!
